"Really? There are?" Lin Daying asked in surprise, "How many?"
"There are a few." The system said vaguely.
"At this point, why are you still hiding things? You’re just a bunch of scrap metal talking right now." Lin Daying replied irritably.
"Host, mind your words. I’m not made of copper or iron, I’m made of a very advanced mineral." The system replied indignantly.
"Same thing, don’t get caught up in details. Hurry up and speak." Lin Daying urged. She was really curious and a bit scared. She had speculated that there might be other systems, but also felt it was unlikely. Novels usually have the female lead possessing a system; a world can’t have multiple systems. But sometimes she wondered if there might be another system? Now, hearing the system’s affirmative answer, she naturally wanted to know who else carried a system.
"Don’t rush, let me explain slowly." The system said leisurely, its unhurried tone made Lin Daying feel she wanted to strangle it. But she couldn’t, so she let this silly system go.
"Besides me, there are two other systems and one Spiritual Artifact." The system said casually, "Want to know who has a system? Then be nicer to me in the future."
"Sure, System Master, just tell me please." Lin Daying now knew when to bow and when to stand tall, having just acted superior in front of the system, now acting inferior, switching seamlessly. What’s the sense of pride before a piece of scrap metal?
"Noble Lady Qing and Concubine Jing both have systems. The Imperial Concubine Shu has a Spiritual Artifact that has given her a space where Spiritual Spring can be produced, and fruits and vegetables can be grown." The system revealed.
"It’s them! The Imperial Concubine Shu’s is way more advanced than ours." Lin Daying exclaimed, "Why is Noble Lady Qing so dumb even with a system, offending Concubine Rong? Oh, this question is pointless. I made a fool of myself when I had you too. Your systems aren’t reliable at all; we shouldn’t rely on you." Lin Daying criticized disdainfully.
"Ahem, you can’t say that, we’re still doing our utmost to help the host. It’s just that if the host doesn’t strive, what can we do? Back then, the main god most favored Imperial Concubine Shu and Noble Lady Qing, followed by Concubine Jing." The system replied uneasily.
"What about me?" Lin Daying asked.
"You’re incidental, an addition." The system revealed this complex truth, "It’s unexpected that the least favored is actually doing the best. Although your rank is low now, you are pregnant, and the Emperor seems to like you quite a bit, your advancement is just a matter of time."
Lin Daying’s mouth twitched, damn, turns out she was a freebie, the least favored entry-level item. But now there was a weird sense of satisfaction, how come? Thinking that she’s the worst, but it turns out she’s the best. Hmph! Silly system.
"Why doesn’t the Emperor like Imperial Concubine Shu? She’s quite beautiful, and she’s not pregnant." Lin Daying asked puzzled.
"I think the Emperor might know about our existence, and, he also knows Imperial Concubine Shu has a space." The system cautiously revealed.
"What!" Lin Daying’s hand shook, spilling a bit of juice from her cup.
"Think about it yourself, doesn’t the Emperor sometimes indirectly ask you things, inquire about your views and suggestions?" The system asked Lin Daying.
