"Thank you, Classmate Gu, for your understanding. I wonder what Mu Fan's opinion is?"
The voice of Ghost Tiger Crock was very steady. If you only listened to this sentence, it would be hard to discern the intention behind it.
"Does the senior not recognize my level in the competition?" Mu Fan asked, untroubled.
"It's not that I don't recognize it, but since it's your first competition, you might not fully understand the rules. If you can prove your level, adjustments will be made in the subsequent matches."
"No objections."
Mu Fan nodded and agreed directly with Crock, which made the latter glance over in slight surprise.
In Crock's eyes, Mu Fan's calm performance at this moment seemed a bit excessive.
Mu Fan smiled at Gu Yunyou, "Let's study together."
Gu Yunyou smiled warmly and nodded.
"What are you guys talking about? It looks like a nice conversation." Bach approached and said with a smile.
"Mm, the senior is sharing his competition experience."
"That's good, that's good." Bach looked at both sides doubtfully, not finding anything amiss, and then continued his daily encouragement duties as the team leader.
The Fighting Tournament had obvious weaknesses, and starship battles were never Dingchuan Academy's forte.
To stand out, they must rely on mecha battles, so Bach attached great importance to this competition.
As he explained, the academy formations started taking off one after another, and those seemingly scattered stands in the sky began to piece together completely.
When the last two academies finished their matches, the giant stadium named "Sunrise" had completely become part of the Sky Arena.
...
The Sky Arena, expanded tenfold, had its competition area compressed to only twenty zones.
This was obviously to provide a venue for the upcoming exciting mecha battles.
With an area comparable to two mecha exhibition association underground arenas, it was enough for two contestants to showcase their skills.
Ruan Xiongfei, Qi Longxiang, and others had already entered the exclusive viewing area with the rest of the Tutor Team.
"Forcibly putting all participants on the same starting line, removing external influences to the greatest extent; now we can see the true strength of each academy. I wonder what kind of astounding talents will emerge this year?" Qi Longxiang's eyes flashed with anticipation.
"Anyway, my apprentice is the best." Ruan Xiongfei laughed loudly with his hands on his hips.
At the same time, twenty small platforms descended from the sky over the Sky Arena, each platform hosting three people wearing official uniforms inside hover pods.
These twenty platforms descended over the twenty zones.
From 1 to 20, Dingchuan vs. Gonia's formation happened to be among the first batch of match lists, with a sequence of 13.
Since the entire giant arena was completely enclosed by a thick Energy Barrier.
The sounds inside the arena couldn't be heard outside without using auxiliary equipment.
Each viewer could sit in their seat with a distribution virtual projection glasses, choosing the field number to focus on the battle they wanted to watch in real-time.
For the Dingchuan Academy Formation, all spectators naturally chose number 13.
As for the other academy members who hadn't yet entered the field, they didn't rush to choose a specific field, opting instead for an overview, since only actual fights would reveal which ones were truly exciting.
Those who chose number 13 saw several blue light lines flicker before spreading rapidly into a complete scene projected about 10 centimeters in front of their eyes.
However, in the next second, when a strong man whose muscles bulged through his clothes appeared, the sight of his bright white teeth almost scared the students into jumping up.
"Dear viewers, welcome to this magnificent human architectural miracle—the Sky Arena. I am your commentator for Area 13, Boogie Billy."
"As a fitness enthusiast, I have a strong physique, so my voice is full of strength and enthusiasm! How about it, can you feel it?"
Everyone stared wide-eyed at the light screen where a muscular man with golden short hair, wearing tight clothing, even shook his chest muscles while saying this.
"Even more bizarre than you..." The fat man's face muscles trembled, taking a long breath before admiringly looking at White Hair, "…is more perverted."
"Such a spirit of boldly showcasing beauty is what we want to see! What do you mean by perverted? This is called confident beauty. Boogie Billy has finally piqued my interest in the competition."
White Hair's eyes burned as he watched that flamboyant commentator, whose chest muscles occasionally quivered, making the fat man and Li Xiaoxi blanch beside him.
As for Big Fat William, he discreetly moved two meters away.
"The official matches will begin in 5 minutes. I'll briefly explain the rules for the individual mecha battle competition. Now is the preliminary stage, where every member of each participating team needs to compete in one match. A victory counts as one point, a loss as zero points, and the final score is compared by adding the total points of both teams. It should be noted that, in normal circumstances, the captain can compete three times to gain rest or buffer time for injured teammates."
"Whether you understand or not, I will not repeat it because the exciting competition is about to begin. I am your good friend, Boogie Billy, and thanks to the PO Battle Net Panstellar Group's sponsorship, you can call me Billy King! Or... King of Billy!"
With lively eyebrows and sturdy muscles, Mr. Billy threw a seductive wink at the camera, instantly causing a wave of vomiting below.
"Now, let's welcome the first contestants, Dingchuan Academy—Crock, against... Gonia War Academy—McCarthy."
Upon hearing this name, although Mu Fan and others couldn't hear it, they could clearly see that almost all the students in the Dingchuan Formation stood up.
Evidently, Ghost Tiger Crock, the true leader of the Mecha Club, had unimaginable popularity within the academy.
"Ghost Tiger, tear apart the opponent, show them the strength of our Mecha Team."
"Boss, crush them!"
Even within the 20-member mecha contestant team, a dozen people erupted in astonishing cheers.
The cold-faced youth looked at his teammates, curling the corners of his mouth.
"I'll handle the first match."
After saying this, Crock rubbed his wrist, turned around, and walked into the battle corridor behind him, which led to the mecha's cockpit.
"Dingchuan, victory!"
Behind Crock, a chorus of cheers erupted.
"Were you angry just now?" Gu Yunyou's faint voice came through.
"What's there to be angry about? He wasn't wrong. It relies on a Mechanical Master's true capability here, and I have too little experience piloting other mecha." Mu Fan smiled, "It's just right to observe a bit."
Gu Yunyou brewed two cups of coffee from the coffee machine in the corner of the prep room, walked over to hand Mu Fan a cup, and happily sat in the chair, savoring it.
"Although the coffee is a bit plain, it's more romantic to watch while drinking."
"Please select your mecha!"
When this stage was reached, Mu Fan's attention was instantly focused.
"McCarthy from Gonia War Academy has chosen Tim Heavy Industry's A-grade Assault Mecha—[High Mountain Knight]!"
"This is interesting. Obviously, our Classmate McCarthy wants to try the thrill of piercing through the opponent with a Riding Spear. Is your dopamine being released, dear viewers? Oh~ Boogie Billy already feels overwhelmed."
The flamboyant voice made the listeners' skin crawl with goosebumps.
"Let's see Dingchuan Academy's choice, hmm~ a very niche choice indeed!"
"Deep Cold Machinery Company's A-grade assassination type mech—[Ghostly Soul]!"
On the light screen in front of Mu Fan, countless mecha images flickered, instantly locking onto two cool-looking mechs.
