Capítulo 1070: Chapter 6: Who Exactly Are You? (Side Story 06)
This vicious voice was extremely jarring, and when Lin Lu turned his head to look, he happened to see a short, hunched, and ugly man glaring at him fiercely.
This man’s age was hard to determine, but judging by his sparse hair and his face crammed with wrinkles, Lin Lu figured he must be over forty.
“Do miners always treat guests this way? I’m just looking for a businessman associated with Mr. Kiflomi.”
“Haha, are you planning to trade verified Space Port information with Vika Security Department?” The ugly dwarf said sinisterly, raising a large-caliber handgun with its dark muzzle aimed directly at Lin Lu.
“Let me say this again, I’m here to talk business. If Mr. Kiflomi doesn’t want to meet, that’s fine, but what’s the meaning of pointing a gun at me now?” Lin Lu’s face also turned unfriendly in that instant.
“Hehe, what meaning? After just saying a couple of words, Mr. Kiflomi is no longer here? Now there’s even more reason to suspect you. Squat down honestly and prepare for a body search.”
“And these two tender-skinned guys!”
Obviously, the dwarf had noticed A and Zero beside him.
When he noticed Zero, he raised an eyebrow, a peculiar light flashing in his eyes.
Such a youthful girl, just looking at her makes one feel inexplicably younger.
“Pointing at you?”
The dwarf chuckled sinisterly, pushing the gun towards Lin Lu.
“If you don’t explain today, I’ll shoot you directly.”
“But I really hate the way you look at hostages… understand your position.” Lin Lu’s face turned cold instantly.
“Hahaha, what are you compared to…” The dwarf was laughing loudly when he suddenly saw Lin Lu’s right hand flick sharply; he couldn’t even see Lin Lu’s palm movement clearly before feeling severe pain in his right hand, causing the large-caliber handgun to fall to the ground uncontrollably.
A hand suddenly clasped his throat, and the dwarf’s eyes widened in terror.
Yet at this moment, Lin Lu’s eyes were closed!
Why are his eyes closed?
Lin Lu’s voice sounded faint.
“A.”
“Yes.”
In the calm voice, the previously quiet Artificial Person A raised his bright blue eyes, his neutral appearance making him seem even more cold-blooded, and at some unknown moment, he had raised a metal short stick and pressed the red button on it suddenly.
“Oh, nobody informed me.” The girl stuck out her tongue at Lin Lu and quickly closed her eyes.
With a click, a dazzling white light flashed.
Everyone felt a slight electric current brushing across their skin’s surface, causing their hair to stand on end.
Then…
Bang bang bang, in a series of electric sparks, the chips of all the magnetic energy guns held by the guards exploded.
These guards hadn’t expected this scene at all, and their eyes were also dazzled by the bright white light.
Instantly, the cries surrounded the three, with many people shutting their eyes tightly, tears streaming down.
Lin Lu looked at the dwarf in pain holding his eyes and picked up the handgun from the ground, pressing the cold muzzle against his forehead.
“Take me to see Mr. Kiflomi.”
The chilling voice and the cold metallic muzzle instantly cleared the dwarf’s mind.
“Okay, I’ll take you.”
“Wouldn’t it have been easier if you’d done this earlier?”
Lin Lu pursed his lips, now looking like an aged old bandit, walking laughingly amidst the guards.
When those guards who had recovered from the flash dizziness wanted to rush over, they were immediately stopped by the dwarf’s loud shout.
Thus, Lin Lu walked forward leisurely under everyone’s angry gazes.
Every time the dwarf had any thoughts and stopped, the gun would poke just at his head.
“Stay quiet, don’t have any crooked thoughts. Do you want to lead us to the weapons warehouse?”
Upon hearing this, the dwarf was horrified; how could this guy behind him know their area’s layout map?
Seeing the dwarf instantly change course with a flattering smile, Lin Lu chuckled. If it weren’t for Alpha’s synchronized intrusion, he might really have been led the wrong way.
After discarding any ulterior motives, the dwarf quickly led the three to the depths of the trade port, which resembled a floating city, isolated in space, with six wide two-way passages connecting to the outer area.
“Stop!”
Two guards shouted suddenly.
When they saw Lin Lu with a gun pressed against the dwarf’s head within their sight, they were startled and hurriedly raised their particle rifles.
“Let them in.”
A dignified middle-aged voice echoed in the corridor.
“Leader!”
A burly man with a red turban on his head appeared, the brown beard adding some fierce aura.
At this moment, eyes like hawk eyes looked at Lin Lu and the two, squinting: “Put down your weapons and follow me in.”
All the guards simultaneously lowered their gun muzzles.
Lin Lu’s face with its stubble pulled into a somewhat wicked smile, casually tossing the handgun backward.
The dwarf felt a lightness at the back of his head and turned instantly to kick.
However…
With a snap, all he felt was darkness in front of his eyes, countless stars sparkling in his mind, and dizziness as he fell to the ground with a cry.
The girl Zero glanced at the fallen figure with disdain, putting away her pale hand, and like a puppy, showing an ingratiating smile to Mu Fan, nearly wagging a tail.
Around them, guards feared by the aura of the three showed reluctance to advance.
With Lin Lu’s smile, the three disappeared inside the floating city.
…
“Speak, what’s it?”
Kiflomi turned and sat on the wide iron chair, eyes void of emotion, but with immense majesty, staring at Lin Lu.
“I’m here to make a trade with Mr. Kiflomi.”
“A trade?”
Kiflomi’s face revealed a cold smile.
“Here, aside from this space base being worth a trade, the rest is… my life. Where are the three of you from, care to share now?”
The burly mining leader, his fist creaking, exuded a malevolent aura.
Behind him, over twenty mechanical guards, about two meters tall, appeared holding magnetic energy guns, instantly heightening the tense atmosphere in the empty hall.
Clearly, the mining leader who survived attacks from Vika Federation isn’t a simple person!
Lin Lu scrutinized him, chuckling, “Seems you’ve been reduced to this under the Vika Federation’s attack… Tsk tsk.”
“What do you mean?” Kiflomi casually lit a less-than-fancy cigarette, narrowing his eyes studying Lin Lu.
“It’s just third-generation mechanical guards, with their chips unaltered, and just releasing them… But honestly, I do admire your courage in daring to stand up to their Horror Battleship Fleet with a Longbow Destroyer.”
This mocking remark instantly made Kiflomi’s face darken!
“Who exactly are you looking to die?”
“Die?”
Lin Lu chuckled slightly, gesturing at the twenty terrifying third-generation mechanical guards, lightly snapping his fingers.
