Chapter 1063: Let’s Go Home Then
Alvin learned of his idea, he couldn’t help but shoot his thumb up and exclaimed in admiration—Brilliant, just brilliant. Alvin has always been especially receptive to his words, so he slapped his thigh and immediately agreed.
So, the two hit it off and put on a melodramatic show as long-lost martial brothers, determined not to return until they were drunk.
Thus, he finally managed to get slightly tipsy—yeah, his head felt a bit woozy.
His stomach was full of alcohol; naturally, he couldn’t go on to eat dinner.
Better to take a quick nap here now, and once they have finished eating, of course, he would have his little Xuanxuan take him home—hahaha.
Nangong Jin thought so, feeling quite thrilled. Emma, why was he also a bit excited?
Finally, he could use the drunkenness as an excuse to steal a kiss or something—cough, cough, cough, it wasn’t easy at all.
Why hadn’t he thought of this trick earlier? Now that it had come to mind, it was truly a sad realization.
With such excitement, there was no way he could sleep.
But his mind was indeed quite groggy, and he wanted to doze off a bit.
No, he really couldn’t sleep—if he passed out on the table and accidently fell asleep, what would he do if Di Jinxuan ran off?
He couldn’t possibly go to her house to drag her out again—that would just make everything seem less natural, wouldn’t it?
Right, right, right, he couldn’t sleep, absolutely not.
Nangong Jin took out a cigarette from his bag, went over to a sofa, sat down, and started smoking.
Just then, unexpectedly, Feng Rao came over and asked softly, "Master, are you drunk?"
Only then did Nangong Jin remember, today he had indeed brought Feng Rao, because she said she had bought a gift for Gu Qibao.
Feng Rao knew Di Mingjue, so after buying the gift and letting him know, he simply brought her along as well.
But he hadn’t paid any attention to Feng Rao, and she was nowhere to be found until now, her sudden appearance startled him.
"Yes," Nangong Jin nodded, rubbing his forehead, "I did drink a bit much, I’m somewhat drunk."
"Then let’s go home," Feng Rao suggested naturally.
Nangong Jin raised an eyebrow at her, go home?
The thought of heading home never crossed his mind.
"You go back first," Nangong Jin waved his hand dismissively, "I’m waiting for my parents, you can leave."
"But you’re drunk, master, let me accompany you home," Feng Rao persisted.
Nangong Jin frowned irritably, his gaze turning cold, "Why all the nonsense? If I tell you to go, you go. I don’t need you here."
Having said this, he closed his eyes, clearly not in the mood to talk to Feng Rao any more; he just found her to be annoying, and besides, how could he leave now!
That would ruin all his plans!
Feng Rao was stunned, not expecting Nangong Jin to dismiss her like that, and as he had closed his eyes, he didn’t see her embarrassed expression.
Feng Rao dropped her gaze in embarrassment but then couldn’t help raising her eyes again, staring at his face.
Such a beautiful face, beautiful to the point you’d wonder if it was crafted by the best plastic surgeon according to the most perfect and proportional features.
With lingering unwillingness, Feng Rao’s gaze drifted to the lively dining area in the distance, divided into several tables, each bustling and brimming with an array of dishes.
Gu Qibao and Nangong Ran were fooling around, while Fang Hao and Li Hui chatted and laughed. Di Jinxuan occasionally joined in with their laughter, creating an atmosphere that seemed both warm and joyful.
Feng Rao’s eyes narrowed slightly, her face showing a look of disappointment and sadness. "The exclusive little sweetheart" that Nangong Jin had mentioned on the phone last time—it was referring to Di Jinxuan, wasn’t it?
