Chapter 1035 - 973: Meeting the Dark Tide Lord (Part 2)
At 17:00 in the afternoon, Da Fei hurried to make the most of his time by eating, drinking, and using the restroom before getting back on the machine. At this moment, the Dark Tide Temple was right in front of him, a grand island covered with monumental stone buildings, with a tall structure resembling a lighthouse shining with golden light.
Just then, the system prompt sounded again:
——System Prompt: Your sailing time has exceeded 11 days, and you and your team heroes have gained extra experience of 1.75 million from the God-level Navigator Skill "Sailing Training", your team has further gained growth potential!
——System Prompt: After rigorous sea battle training, your Charming Emperor’s army has grown, gaining Attack +10, Defense +15, Health +300, Mana +300, Stamina +10, Damage +5. Your Artillery Emperor’s army has grown, gaining Attack +10, Defense +15, Health +100, Mana +50, Damage +2.
Da Fei was suddenly overjoyed! Sailing has paid off, it was now the turn for his Sea Demon Troop to grow! Ecstatic, Da Fei hurriedly checked the current attributes of the Artillery Emperor:
——Artillery Emperor: Small-sized Spiritual Body Ocean Creature, Attack 45, Defense 50, Damage 37-62, Health 580, Attack Speed 13, Magic Resistance 50%, Mana Value 150, Command Value 15, Special Skills: Flying Creature, Ocean Creature, Charming Technique, Chain Shooting, Master Level War Machine Science, Crossbow Master.
For the Artillery Emperor’s army, who had limited health, this growth was incredibly timely! It seems this training was spot on, those sheltered flowers sincerely needed to be taken out for some sun.
However, no matter how timely the growth, it’s still a mere 580 points of health, which is truly weak in the world of Sea Monsters. Not to mention, just in the last battle, even the Plasma Cannon’s full-scale bombardment of 2500 health couldn’t kill a single enemy, showing the strength of the Sea Monster army, and how significant the gap between the Artillery Emperor and the opponent is.
It seems that in the future, the Artillery Emperor should mainly engage in the highly safe task of firing cannons, the development progress of the Lilim Sea Demon is imperative. Nevertheless, now the Artillery Emperor’s attribute is "Small-sized Spiritual Body Ocean Creature", rather than the initial "Elite Banshee", this growth potential is quite promising. Once it grows into an elite or even a boss, its health might not be lower than the current 3000 health of the Angel Army, after all, the characteristic of Ocean Creatures is their lengthy health.
Just as Da Fei was pondering, from the sea ahead came a conch horn sound, several giant whales carrying a group of yellow-named Naga suddenly surfaced, and someone shouted: "The Dark Tide Temple welcomes the warriors’ visit! Please, warriors, follow us into the port."
Nothing to say, the fleet followed all the way.
Closer now, Da Fei finally took in the full view of this majestic island city, completely modeled in the tall and grand ancient style of Ancient Greece’s splendid pillar architecture, resembling the Twelve Palace style of the Saint’s Athens Sanctuary.
Then Da Fei landed. The entire harbor, except for Da Fei’s ship, mostly consisted of giant turtles and whales resembling reef islands, with their backs loaded with various cargo. The docks were bustling, with all kinds of Naga, Fishmen, and Lobstermen busily transporting supplies, and the distant streets of the dock lined with shops reflecting prosperity.
Da Fei and his companions were stunned on the spot, unable to fathom that the Dark Tide Temple was actually such a bustling city! Except for the lack of humans, its level of civilization was almost indistinguishable from human Elf harbor cities? Compared to human ships, their turtle and whale ships were clearly capable of functioning as submarines, obviously more advanced and unique!
Just then, a heavily armored Six-Armed Naga Samurai Hero appeared on the dock, leading a squad of Naga: "Warriors, the Dark Tide Lord wishes to meet you and your heroic group, please follow me."
Sending a Six-Armed Hero to welcome me? This level of reception seems rather unusual! Evidently, the Dark Tide Lord highly values me, and it’s evident there are many heroes in this temple. No questioning it, Da Fei then brought along all his deputies and followed.
Now, Da Fei’s team headed toward the highest large hall on the island, along the way shops displayed various corals, Treasure Beads, beast bones, armors, and unknown crystal ores, which left Da Fei dazzled! Da Fei could easily imagine, once these goods were brought back to the human Elf world and sold, who knows how many times more they would multiply?
Now the large hall was right in front, the leading hero solemnly said: "Warrior, please!"
Da Fei nodded repeatedly: "Alright, alright."
Just then, Da Fei suddenly noticed a female Naga prostrating on the ground in front of the hall. Her red name was particularly conspicuous in this friendly city full of yellow names, unexpectedly it was the Naga Hero Sona whom Da Fei had just defeated!
Da Fei asked in shock: "May I ask, what’s this?"
The leading Naga Hero coldly said: "Victory and defeat are commonplace, but her failure is not ordinary; she annihilated the longstanding regular army. After her repentance ceremony, her temple priest qualifications will be revoked, followed by banishment."
Da Fei’s heart skipped a beat, this punishment was quite severe, wasn’t it? Da Fei quickly said: "As I’ve said, it’s a misunderstanding, her Temple Guardian Army Legion Token is in my possession, I will return it to the temple now, can we save this army?"
The Naga Hero suddenly rejoiced: "If the warrior means it, I shall immediately transfer to the Dark Tide Lord!"
Hand it over to you? Fine. So Da Fei took out the Legion Token and handed it over.
——System Prompt: You have returned the "Dark Tide Temple Guard Army 4th Legion Token" to the Dark Tide Temple!
The hero was overjoyed to receive it, and said in a gratified tone: "It couldn’t be better for the warrior to return the Legion Token, the Lord will definitely be pleased."
Da Fei chuckled: "It should be, it should be, as I said it’s a misunderstanding——" After speaking, he pointed at Sona: "And her?"
The Naga Hero coldly said: "Her punishment will certainly not be reduced, it has nothing to do with the warrior returning the Legion Token."
