Three-Tower Battlefield.
Unknown territory.
As Master Lingqing said, the most terrifying thing in this world might not be those disordered, chaotic cities.
But rather those specific places built under the guise of order, sanctuary, and new cities.
Among many such cities, there is a place called Hunter City.
Before the apocalypse, Hunter City was located in Southeast Asia, with the largest underground illegal fighting market and the largest human organ trading market.
Here, everything can be bought and sold, and all commissions will have someone to take on the orders.
After the apocalypse, this city developed a special set of rules.
The city has merchants wearing masks who can sell a variety of items.
Canned goods, food packs, and even fresh ingredients and cellar-grade iced tea.
As long as you pay, the merchants will surely provide you with the goods.
The old Hunter City is now surrounded by towering walls. Massive walls encircle the entire city.
Outsiders can’t enter, and it’s difficult for those inside to leave.
The hunters in Hunter City must take on various commissions from the Commerce Association to earn the currency necessary to buy goods from merchants to survive.
There are many Longxia People here, and people from neighboring countries like Japanese and Ji Country People.
Of course, there are also some people from the Middle East Region, and even from Northern European regions, although they are fewer in number.
To live here, one must find a way to go to the Commerce Association to take on orders.
This is a city entirely constituted of bounty hunters.
Hunter City does not support idlers.
In Hunter City, there will always be new faces, and old faces frequently disappear.
No one knows who the master behind the Commerce Association is.
People only know that there’s no need to worry about attacks from outside monsters; although there are no laws or order here... it’s much better than cities filled with rule-related urban legends, like those Black House and Red House cities.
Here, it seems to be the last place for human survival granted by some deity.
Of course, some say this is a place where some deity enslaves humanity.
It uses food and water that humans could casually acquire before the apocalypse... to enslave people into completing tasks that far exceed the value of the resources.
But if given the choice, there would still be many people who choose to enter Hunter City.
At least, you can continue to acquire wealth with your abilities, and eventually, you could even construct your own fortress.
Rumor has it that there are three castles within Hunter City, and the most powerful hunters in Hunter City reside in these castles.
These hunters have completed a plethora of missions and are no longer troubled by resources; they have started to seek spiritual satisfaction, like big houses, beautiful women, slaves, status...
Many people desire to become the owner of the fourth castle.
Almi is one such hunter.
Half a year ago, after wandering through the fog for a long time, he finally fainted...
When he woke up, he found himself in Hunter City.
He quickly learned the rules of Hunter City and understood it was a bounty place.
With continuous task completions, Almi gradually became somewhat famous, but that was all. He longed for a partner, but the opposite sex in Hunter City were extremely realistic.
In Hunter City, hunters who haven’t earned enough for a property don’t have the right to mate.
Almi desperately wants to have his own house, then find a partner, and live a pre-apocalypse life in Hunter City.
But this seemed far off.
Almi was always waiting for an opportunity. Now, he finally had one.
He often squatted in the Commerce Association during his spare time, searching for valuable tasks.
On this day, he finally discovered a high-value target.
"Wen Xiangge!"
[Task Type: Bunker Time Travel Task.]
[Task Target: Wen Xiangge.]
[Target Information: A well-known fraudster on the Three-Tower Battlefield, who relies on his ability to deceive people to continuously sow the seeds of "faith." This person isn’t very strong, but has powerful persuasion abilities. His personal experience led the rare Desire Sequence to opt for him, and the rise of Xishu Divine Teaching is greatly related to him. Internal harmony in Wind City depends entirely on him, but now you will travel to the era before he possessed his abilities.]
[Task Requirements: Kill Wen Xiangge, or cause him to lose his core abilities.]
[Task Attention Points: You can stay in the bunker for a maximum of seven days. After seven days, you will return to Hunter City, and you will be rewarded based on the impact you have on Wen Xiangge during those seven days.]
Bunker Time Travel Task?
This is a completely new task type.
It seems like I’ve hardly encountered it before? No, definitely haven’t encountered it.
Almi was delighted at heart.
It seems the Commerce Association task versions have become more diverse. Previously, one would be transported to other cities to assassinate certain targets,
or make someone’s life more desperate or something.
Almi had a hunch that if he could assassinate Wen Xiangge, he would surely receive rich rewards.
"Sounds like a task to travel back in time and change the future fate of a significant figure."
Many people were eyeing this task; in fact, this time several other "bunker time travel tasks" were refreshed as well.
For example, killing Zheng Zai, a person with distinctive features, very weak in the early stages but became an unpredictable character in the future due to acquiring the ability to devour and evolve.
However, everyone ignored this task.
Devour evolution...
This is counted as a very powerful hunting talent. Presumably, such a character must be hard to provoke, even in the early stages.
And Wen Xiangge, at a glance, is just a pushover, a fraudster who relies on his gab to deceive people.
