"If he’s confused and backs down, maybe you wouldn’t be so troubled."
...
...
Universe No. 045.
At this moment, Wen Xishu felt a little confused.
The conversation with Wen Chaohua made him realize that this parallel universe seems to have no issues.
"Are you saying, those guys with zodiac names... there’s no war, no fate of hunting each other?"
Wen Chaohua nodded:
"What you’re talking about sounds more like a... strange tale. But how could such a setting exist in reality?"
"Leon is a powerful athlete, called Lion just because of his name. How could he need to hunt Virgins, Aries, Pisces, Scorpios... to gain power?"
"I often get called Gemini too; I think if Leon doesn’t commit a crime, he and I would have no interaction."
"The holder of the Scorpio code is indeed a kid, but he’s no mastermind; he’s just really good at gaming, having won esports championships in multiple fields at just a teen age."
"You tell me hunting others makes his gaming skills stronger... Doesn’t that sound ridiculous?"
"There’s no such fate; they’re only famous people in this world, that’s all."
"As for the Three Towers you mentioned, I don’t know what that is either. I’ve seen a lot in this world, but I’ve never heard of it."
"Of course, I must admit that my world has poor security... There’s always some crime, but it doesn’t go beyond that."
"Compared to the world you mentioned, isn’t my world great?"
Indeed.
At this moment, Wen Xishu realized all those conspiracies don’t exist in this world.
Here, everything is wonderful.
Wen Xishu grew up in a loving environment.
Wen Chaohua’s care made the world give him the name Gemini.
That’s really nice.
Perhaps this kind of world is the one worth existing.
If this is the ending, if the parallel universes eventually had to partake in an election, with only one allowed to exist...
Then this world should indeed be the best world.
"You’re confused, Little Tree."
Wen Chaohua suddenly spoke.
Earlier, he asked a question about whether Little Tree would come back.
But Wen Xishu didn’t answer that; instead, he started talking about this world with Wen Chaohua.
He seems like a middle schooler, having an episode, pretending he traveled through realms...
But Wen Chaohua is always that patient brother, willing to accept his brother’s absurd acts.
At this moment, he looked into Wen Xishu’s eyes and discovered the confusion hidden within.
He suddenly said:
"You really like this world, and that makes me happy. Though he always says this world isn’t exciting at all..."
"I’ve actually thought about what kind of brother I’d be if there were such a world."
Wen Xishu responded:
"An enigmatic brother, one I seldom meet, but I feel he sacrificed so much for me, executing profound plans."
Hearing this, Wen Chaohua chuckled.
"If there were an Otherworldly Me and a world like Little Tree described, it seems that would indeed match my style."
"So... don’t let that world down, don’t be confused where you shouldn’t be."
After smiling, Wen Chaohua turned away and lightly sighed:
"If my Little Tree can’t come back... then Little Tree, don’t let another world’s me go through such things."
