In the soundproof room with optimal isolation, heavy curtains were drawn, only the overhead chandelier emitting bright light.
Zhou Wang sat at a spacious solid wood desk, wielding a sleek black pen. The gold-edged nib swiftly danced across the drafting paper, inscribing one character after another. Yet occasionally, he paused, indicating contemplation.
The floor, walls, and desk were scattered with draft papers filled with various writings and symbols. The limited edition ink from Swan Castle had been used more than halfway, showcasing Zhou Wang’s intense writing session.
Fortunately, this Montblanc pen had superior quality, providing exceptional comfort while writing. Otherwise, Zhou Wang might have given up long ago.
Both the pen and ink were part of Davis Property’s welcome gift for his residence, reportedly worth five figures altogether. Though such items were somewhat niche, Zhou Wang didn’t quite know if they truly cost that much.
"..."
Finally, as Zhou Wang penned the last word on the last sheet, he exhaled deeply and reclined in his chair, stretching languidly.
Ding dong!
His phone chimed again, and it startled Zhou Wang, who hadn’t checked it for a while.
What the heck, it’s almost eleven in the morning?
Last he checked his phone, it was late night, yet engrossed in his work, seven to eight hours had passed unnoticed.
Since he entered the study room last night, Zhou Wang had been in there for more than ten hours.
...Such is the nature of the focused and captivating Capricorn.
In the trash bin lay several empty bottles of Eastern Leaf water and a bottle of imported Black Ivory cold brew coffee; a leftover plate on the desk still contained a few cherries and a small bone from a steak.
Hmm?
Where did this plate come from?
Oh, Xu Wenqian apparently came in during the night, bringing food. No wonder he hadn’t felt hungry at all.
Shaking his head, Zhou Wang briefly replied to Xu Wenqian, saying he’d be out shortly. He then rubbed his aching temples, realizing he might have overused his brain.
After smoking a cigarette to ease his mind, Zhou Wang stood up and started gathering the scattered papers, then stuck them onto the whiteboard wall in the study room, based on categories.
Just one last step remained: to organize the papers grouped under "summary and planning" by categories to complete the sorting.

Dozens of draft papers with various titles were stuck onto the whiteboard by Zhou Wang.
He then stood in front of that wall, immersed in thought.
Last night, as he blew the wind on the terrace, gazing at the city lights below, Zhou Wang suddenly felt a pang of unease.
This unease was somewhat inexplicable but abruptly made Zhou Wang vigilant.
Despite standing at the pinnacle of Magic City, despite earning a place in the billionaire club within just half a year of acquiring the system, surrounded by beauty, in high spirits.
Yet for some reason, Zhou Wang suddenly felt a bit uneasy.
At that moment, standing on the terrace and looking back, Zhou Wang saw through the large floor-to-ceiling windows, Xiao Wang and Gao Xing wandering around the first and second floors, fiddling with something, while Miao Ying quietly snuggled on the sofa watching anime.
In another bedroom, Lin Ran instructed Xu Wenqian on yoga practice, the two girls chatting and giggling, as if their laughter about each other’s figures could be faintly heard...
Although these scenes were so real, even within reach, Zhou Wang suddenly felt they were so distant from him.
So Zhou Wang put down the champagne in his hand and decided to bury himself in the study room, staying there for an entire night.
It seems the time has come to have a clearer plan for his life.
This thorough reflection indeed made Zhou Wang discover quite a few potential issues.
Such as his seemingly flourishing industries were, in fact, a scattered collection; the interrelations almost non-existent. Most were merely passive stakes in companies, over which he held no absolute managerial authority...
