The projector whispered, "I had a good dream."
The wine gourd joked, "What kind of good dream? Dreamed of art again?"
"It indeed was a kind of art. I was lying on white clouds, seeing other clouds floating around me, seeing giant dark clouds soaring overhead, watching terrifying rain clouds amidst thunder and lightning."
The clock pendulum laughed, "This counts as art? Isn't this kind of stuff very common on TV in the Outside Provinces?"
"This is true art, not art that's forced, very pure..." The projector was still savoring the dream just now.
Not just him, a group of magical treasures were sharing dreams. Only the gloves were not in a good mood.
"Master, I just fell asleep, but I could still hear some sounds, just couldn't wake up."
The gloves' strength was indeed impressive; although forced to sleep, they never let their guard down.
Li Banfeng said, "No need to worry, the matter in Pillow City is over. Ye Haolong believed the dream and spread rumors, luckily the peddler wasn't around, almost causing a big trouble."
"Master, this person should be killed!"
Li Banfeng nodded and said, "Indeed, he should be killed, but if I really kill him, it would be like silencing him, leaving the rumors with no evidence, making it seem even more true."
The gloves pondered over it, and it was indeed reasonable but felt more and more annoyed with Pillow City: "Master, let's not go to that place again in the future!"
Li Banfeng smiled and said nothing more.
"Hmph!" the Judge's Pen hanging on Li Banfeng's waist grunted and fell back to sleep.
Having walked most of the day in the New Land, Li Banfeng finally found Jiaoqi River.
A vast golden river surged from deep within the mountains.
It was late autumn, and the mountains were colorful. Using the Wind Riding Cloud Driving Skill, Li Banfeng stood in midair, vaguely seeing several golden ribbons slowly flowing through the red maples and yellow leaves.
Approaching the foot of the mountain, these golden rivers finally converged, flowing together into an underground dark river dozens of miles away.
Li Banfeng walked to the riverbank, carefully observing the water; the golden hue wasn't from sunlight reflection, nor from the riverbed's reflection, it was the river's actual color.
He wasn't even sure if what flowed in the river was water; this golden liquid resembled grease but wasn't as viscous.
He wanted to scoop some up to observe more closely, but suddenly heard someone behind him say, "Young sir, don't use your hands to touch it, it's hard to wash off if stained with golden paint."
Li Banfeng turned around and saw it was a woman, about twenty years old, wearing a vibrant red dress, her hair tied with a bright red ribbon, wrapped in a red scarf.
Her vibrant red attire sharply contrasted the golden river water, prompting the wine gourd to exclaim, "This is too beautiful!"
The woman seemed to hear the gourd's praise, turned her head, and smiled at Li Banfeng.
Beautiful?
Li Banfeng thought she was average, feeling something was missing compared to the beauty with the Big Horn.
But the group of magical treasures genuinely found her beautiful, even the Tang Sword, who greatly respected Hong Ying, commented: "She seems prettier than General Hong."
The sickle snorted, "I still think Hong Ying looks better!"
The wine gourd asked the Tang Sword, "Can she compare to your Marshal?"
The Tang Sword looked carefully for a while: "She's still a bit inferior to the Marshal, there's a slight difference I'd say."
Li Banfeng patted the Tang Sword, "You do have an eye for beauty; it's not just a slight difference, she's obviously not as good-looking as my wife."
He walked forward and politely greeted the woman, "May I ask, are you the peddler's lover?"
The woman blinked her almond-shaped eyes, staring at Li Banfeng for a moment.
Seeing her surprise, Li Banfeng explained further, "Is the peddler at your house?"
The woman laughed and nodded, "You're right, I am the peddler's lover, and he is indeed at my house."
After speaking, the woman filled a bucket with river water and stood up to leave.
Li Banfeng followed after her, asking, "What use is this river water?"
"This is golden paint, the golden paint from the golden paint river. I use this gold paint to make a gold house for the peddler, so he stays with me and doesn't want to leave."
Li Banfeng nodded in admiration, "Sister-in-law, your affection is truly deep!"
The woman was startled, "What did you call me? Sister-in-law?"
Li Banfeng said, "I am Li Qi, I'm the peddler's senior brother, if we're going by his words, you should be my sister-in-law."
"Oh, hearing you say that makes me shy," the woman smiled, touching her face, and asked, "Are you really the peddler's senior brother?"
Li Banfeng nodded, "I truly am."
The woman laughed, "Aren't you the least bit shy?"
Li Banfeng shook his head, "I'm not shy. I almost got beaten to death to become his senior brother, it's a title I earned with my own skills."
The woman nodded, "Alright, you do have skills. Do you want to find the peddler?"
"Yes!" Li Banfeng looked sincerely at the woman.
The woman pointed to an empty spot in the distance, "Can you see that wooden house?"
Li Banfeng looked over, seeing a two-story wooden house in the wilderness, surrounded by a pitch-black area with no grass growing.
The woman said, "The peddler is in the wooden house. You can see him once you enter."
Li Banfeng looked at the wooden house and asked, "It probably isn't that simple, is it? There must be traps around the wooden house."
The woman was very straightforward too, "There are no traps, but the area around the house is full of glue mud; you know what glue mud is, right?"
"Yes, it sticks to your feet and makes you unable to walk."
The woman led Li Banfeng towards the wooden house. Stopping about two hundred meters away from it, she stopped.
She rubbed her thumb and forefinger together, producing a feather.
Blowing on the feather, it flew towards the wooden house with the wind.
