Chapter 1130: Someone Is Missing
"Cheng Zhentian, lead the disciples of the Five Elements Sect and search the nearby area immediately. Alive, we must see the person; dead, we must see the corpse," Cheng Qianjin resolutely said.
Upon hearing Cheng Qianjin’s words, Master Mie Wo felt she might have overreacted earlier, so she stepped forward and spoke sideways, "I am also concerned about my disciple. After all, she is just a woman. Please understand."
Cheng Qianjin nodded without saying anything and walked straight out. Chen Tianlong didn’t immediately follow, instead he pondered for a moment and headed toward Xiao He’s room with Lin Wushuang.
As for the seven juniors, they went back to their rooms to shower. After Chen Tianlong gave his instructions earlier, it was just about time for them to leave, to avoid having them shower while a grown man was waiting in the room.
This scene was just too sublime; Chen Tianlong feared he wouldn’t be able to restrain himself.
After softly pushing the door open, Chen Tianlong carefully observed the room but didn’t find anything unusual. The bed sheets were neat, indicating he hadn’t gone to sleep when he left, probably around eleven o’clock at night.
Chen Tianlong suddenly noticed something next to the window. Upon inspection, he discovered it was a dart.
Chen Tianlong could imagine a scenario where Xiao He was about to go to bed when suddenly a dart came flying and hit the window. Then, Chen Tianlong peeled the note off the dart...
Seeing this, Chen Tianlong suddenly thought of something and hurriedly began to search the floor.
"Chen Tianlong, what are you doing?"
Lin Wushuang asked with some confusion, watching Chen Tianlong’s actions.
Chen Tianlong didn’t answer but continued searching intently. He lay flat on the floor and scanned the area thoroughly. Suddenly, his eyes spotted a small white dot under the bed.
He immediately walked over, crawled under the bed, and sure enough, it was a small note.
Holding the small note, Chen Tianlong crawled out, and at this moment, Lin Wushuang felt surprised, "Chen Tianlong, what are you doing?"
"Haha, conducting serious business. You’ll know soon enough."
Chen Tianlong said mysteriously, then unfolded the note to read.
"To know the true purpose of the trial, please come to the top of Kui Mountain immediately."
Chen Tianlong read aloud the words on the note.
"Ah? So someone asked Senior Brother Xiao He to go to the mountain top," Lin Wushuang realized.
"Yes."
Chen Tianlong nodded.
"Then, then we should quickly inform Cheng Qianjin and the others," Lin Wushuang urged.
"No, something is amiss here; let’s go check Mo Xiaowan’s room first."
After saying this, Chen Tianlong began to leave the room and soon arrived at Mo Xiaowan’s room. Acting on instinct, there should also be a note in Mo Xiaowan’s room, so Chen Tianlong searched using the same method as earlier but found nothing.
Mo Xiaowan’s window was closed, so there shouldn’t be any darts, yet Chen Tianlong habitually walked to the window and observed carefully.
Sure enough, he discovered something suspicious because he found a small hole in the curtain.
Chen Tianlong hurriedly approached and looked closer, trying to gauge what had happened.
At this moment, Chen Tianlong seemed to understand something.
He quickly ran outside the house, with Lin Wushuang following him, puzzled. Chen Tianlong searched the area behind the house, directly opposite the window, and soon discovered many footprints.
Logically, this was the back of the house where people usually wouldn’t go, and these shoe prints were evidently fresh.
"As expected, Mo Xiaowan was drugged with smoke and taken away," Chen Tianlong said.
"Ah? Smoke, why would someone drug Mo Xiaowan and where exactly are they taking her?" Lin Wushuang couldn’t fathom the situation, baffled by the assailant’s motives.
"To frame Senior Brother Xiao He and stir up discord between the Five Elements Sect and the Emei Sect, meddling in the imminent Celestial Pill Sect trial," Chen Tianlong explained.
Lin Wushuang suddenly realized, "You mean, someone wants to provoke conflict to win the trial’s prize themselves?"
"Sort of, but I’m not sure if it’s for the prize."
Chen Tianlong continued, "The perpetrator is using despicable means to escalate their hatred. This person has sinister intentions."
Chen Tianlong had to admit the mastermind was indeed cunning.
Saying this, Chen Tianlong grabbed Lin Wushuang and said, "Lin Wushuang, we need to head to the mountain."
"Ah?"
Lin Wushuang had barely reacted when she found herself embraced by Chen Tianlong’s chest, but quickly calmed down. Their intimacy had surpassed this point, so hugging was nothing unusual for them.
Ten minutes later, they reached an open area and quietly hid behind a rock at the mountain top. Chen Tianlong focused, closed his eyes, and scanned the surroundings.
Suddenly, he heard a voice, as if someone was calling for help. Listening more carefully, the sound became clearer.
"Wushuang, there’s movement over there. Let’s go check it out."
"Mm-hmm."
The two of them sneaked over, but the scene before them was inconceivable. A beautiful young lady was topless, wearing only a close-fitting garment. Her hands and feet were tied to a wooden pole, and her mouth was stuffed with cloth.
Beside her stood a man, handsome and attractive, but his eyes were dazed and sluggish, as if something was wrong. Chen Tianlong recognized him instantly; it was none other than Xiao He, the leading disciple of the Five Elements Sect.
At that moment, Xiao He moved step by step toward the young lady, his hand involuntarily reaching forward to her.
"No, that must be Mo Xiaowan. Let’s quickly stop him," Chen Tianlong hurriedly said.
"Ah?"
Evidently, Lin Wushuang was shocked by the earlier scene. Her face was flushed; a girl dressed so scantily right there, even though it wasn’t herself, Lin Wushuang felt extremely shy: "Chen Tianlong, maybe I shouldn’t go?"
Chen Tianlong understood what she meant but immediately said, "Do you want me to help that young lady get dressed later?"
Lin Wushuang realized something was amiss. If she let Chen Tianlong go, what if he couldn’t resist the temptation?
So, disregarding her embarrassment, Lin Wushuang stood up and ran ahead.
"Come back."
Chen Tianlong was caught off guard; Lin Wushuang shot ahead before he was ready, making him jump in surprise.
But Lin Wushuang was already far ahead, leaving Chen Tianlong no choice but to chase after her quickly.
At this moment, Xiao He’s hands gripped Mo Xiaowan’s body, and Mo Xiaowan was bashful but afraid. Her hands and feet were tied, so she could only let Xiao He do as he pleased.
Running a bit more, Lin Wushuang finally arrived in front of the two. Mo Xiaowan saw her and felt simultaneously shy and scared, calling out "mmm-mmm-mmm" from her sealed mouth.
At this time, Lin Wushuang didn’t hesitate, she went forward and grabbed Xiao He’s shoulder, pulling hard. Xiao He was caught off guard and instantly dragged away. However, drugged Xiao He, looking at Lin Wushuang before him, saw her as a seductive beauty. He surged forward in a flash.
Seeing this, Lin Wushuang was startled and exclaimed, dodging quickly, but in the next instant, Xiao He appeared before her again, lustfully reaching out to grab her.
Right then, a large hand landed on Xiao He’s shoulder, and he tried shaking it off only to find it immovable. He turned around and swung a punch.
The drug made him sluggish, he wasn’t a match for Chen Tianlong. Chen Tianlong swiftly struck Xiao He’s neck, knocking him out.
