Chapter 1103: Fang Yan’s Assist
"Believe it or not, I’m only giving you two options now: one is surrender, the other is war." Fang Yan didn’t waste words and went straight to the point.
By this time, the Red-eyed Eagle and the Sword God had also walked over. They knew the situation was lost; if what Fang Yan said was true, the foot of the mountain should already be under control. Even if they didn’t start the fight, seventy thousand versus sixty thousand, the enemy army wouldn’t dare act rashly, especially when their generals and boss were up here—how would they dare move recklessly?
Sikong Jingyun walked up to Hao Shuai and said softly, "Get in touch with the people down the mountain, see if something’s gone wrong."
Hao Shuai nodded, pulled out his phone. After they’d come up the mountain to besiege it, the signal had already been cut. Hao Shuai quickly called the person in charge below and learned that the Black Alliance had already fallen; the phone slipped straight from his hand to the ground.
With a crisp crack, the sound scared the surrounding people from the Eight Great Sects, their faces full of terror.
Obviously, not a single word Fang Yan had just said was wrong; the foot of the mountain was already under control.
"Elder Sikong, it’s true." Hao Shuai’s hand was trembling a little. If that was the case, they were dead for sure: "Should we maybe surrender first, and then..."
"Shh~"
Sikong Jingyun hurriedly made a gesture for silence. He understood Fang Yan: since he’d already broken the rules himself, then even if Fang Yan killed him, the Cultivator Association wouldn’t say anything—at most they’d just report it after the fact.
So he had to escape by catching them off guard.
"Haha, so it was all a bluff. I actually thought there really were seventy thousand troops. Fellow members of the Eight Great Sects, heed my order: in a moment we’ll attack these people together and slaughter them. Our army will charge up the mountain to support us very soon." Sikong Jingyun lied.
Hearing this, Chen Tianlong frowned and quickly asked, "Master, what’s going on?"
"Truly a crafty old fox. If I’m not wrong, he wants to run. Chen Tianlong, pay attention later—don’t go head‑on against that old man. After all, he’s at Celestial Dao Seven Stars Great Perfection; you can’t beat him. Your main job is to take out those people from the Eight Great Sects; I’ll handle the rest." Fang Yan instructed.
People from the Eight Great Sects who did such evil shouldn’t be allowed to go back alive. Sailing across the sea to kill, and you still expect to leave alive? No such reasoning.
"Got it!" Chen Tianlong knew everything was in Fang Yan’s grasp and felt much more at ease.
"Experts of the Black Alliance, listen up. We still have one last chance. Even though their army is preparing to come up, our army is also close behind. Whose deer dies in whose hands is still up in the air. As long as we buy our army some time, victory will still be ours." Fang Yan didn’t tell everyone the truth; he just wanted them to fight with everything they had and wipe out the Eight Great Sects.
Hearing this, the Red-eyed Eagle promptly gave the order: "Members of the Black Alliance, then we’ll go all out in this battle—fight for the Black Alliance!"
"Fight to the death for the Black Alliance!" the crowd roared, and the battle officially began.
In an instant, experts from both sides surged forward and plunged into a melee.
In the end only Fang Yan and Sikong Jingyun were left quietly standing in place. Once those two made a move, the sky and earth would turn upside down. With experts of this level, it was often settled in just one move.
And behind this crowd, there was one person slipping away in secret—that person was Wu Jun.
This time, Wu Jun had only come to watch the show and act cool a bit, but he hadn’t expected things to end up like this. His strength was only Yellow Dao Seven Stars; he couldn’t even beat a lowly soldier. If he really joined the melee, he’d probably get taken out right at the start.
So he chose to run.
It was just that there was an army blocking the foot of the mountain, so there was no way for him to escape. After thinking it over, Wu Jun decided to run to the mountainside, find a hidden spot to lie low first, then sneak down when things calmed down.
After Fang Yan and Sikong Jingyun stood there for a while, they suddenly moved.
Their speed could only be described as super lightning. Because they were about to launch high‑intensity attacks, both of them had already prepared in advance and activated Powerful Qi Protection.
At this moment, a layer of pink Powerful Qi formed around their bodies, and this Powerful Qi even looked like it was burning, extremely conspicuous.
Exactly.
The two of them had entered berserk mode. This battle was crucial; for Sikong Jingyun, whether he could escape alive depended on whether he could injure Fang Yan.
The two figures flashed out, leaving behind two white afterimages.
Immediately after, about five meters above the mountaintop, they struck out with their palms at the same time. With a thunderous boom, the ground below let out a string of explosions under the impact of the massive shockwave, like hand grenades going off.
At this moment, everyone on the mountaintop was badly frightened and hurriedly dodged to the side; even Chen Tianlong was a bit dumbfounded.
Fang Yan and Sikong Jingyun’s strength was truly terrifying. Chen Tianlong’s heart still thumped with fear—thankfully Fang Yan had arrived in time, otherwise they’d be the ones suffering now.
After about two minutes, a sudden loud bang rang out, a dazzling white light flared in the sky, and an old man shot down to the ground, panting heavily.
"Hmph, if I hadn’t run into a little mishap while cultivating and damaged my Primordial Qi, you think you, Old Fang, could have done anything to me?" Sikong Jingyun had lost but still refused to admit it.
"Hehe, is that so?" Fang Yan didn’t waste words. From above, he directly slapped down with one palm, and Sikong Jingyun, at this moment, didn’t dodge. Instead, he gathered all his strength and punched fiercely up at the sky.
Bang!
Fist and palm collided, and a shockwave burst out from between them, blasting the people nearby flying backward.
Fortunately, Chen Tianlong reacted quickly. He hurriedly grabbed Lin Xiaoting beside him and dove to the ground. As for the Red-eyed Eagle, he didn’t make it in time; he only managed to use Powerful Qi Protection and was sent flying far away.
This was deliberate on Fang Yan’s part. He could have controlled this surge of Qi and let it cancel out, but he insisted on blasting it outward. That way, Sikong Jingyun’s force would injure his own people. As for Chen Tianlong, Fang Yan knew this guy reacted fast and would definitely think of a way to dodge.
Sure enough, aside from Chen Tianlong and Lin Xiaoting being fine, everyone else was injured by this powerful shockwave—to varying degrees, but injured all the same.
This was exactly the result Fang Yan wanted.
Sikong Jingyun was depressed; he really hadn’t expected Fang Yan to be this vicious, actually using the power between the two of them to injure everyone. It was obvious that with Chen Tianlong unharmed, the remaining people from the Eight Great Sects were in for it.
At this moment, Chen Tianlong seemed to have already seen Fang Yan’s goal. He hurriedly got up and charged toward the Eight Great Sects. This was a perfect opportunity: while they were injured and on the ground, he could take them out.
"Not good!" Sikong Jingyun looked at the people on the ground writhing and rolling in pain, his brows tightened. He urgently tried to shake off Fang Yan’s attacks and rush over to stop Chen Tianlong.
But he was already too late.
Chen Tianlong used the Dance of Lightning from the Twelve Leg Kicks, weaving through the crowd for just a short while, and dozens of people were suddenly vomiting blood. Obviously their meridians had been destroyed by him—they were already cripples.
"Fuck!"
Sikong Jingyun couldn’t help but curse. They’d actually been ambushed like this—what had been a mighty lineup had in an instant become incomparably feeble.
