The Three Rock Scorpion's poison stinger crackled in the air like a long whip.
In an instant, a crimson flash was thrown out.
Though the size of this crimson energy arrow wasn't large, its speed reached an extreme, capturing only three afterimages on the footage.
By the time the eyelids blinked and rose again, the crimson energy arrow was about to collide with the [Holy Shield Giant Thunder].
"Rock Tail Bombardment, possessing highly penetrative corrosive attack characteristics, really seems special against a mobile mecha."
On the stands, two spectators murmured to each other.
Pang Huang's sudden attack really caught them off guard.
But the problem lay in the fact that the [Holy Shield Giant Thunder] on the other side was overly huge, and its giant shield was exceptionally tall.
"It feels like the Holy Shield Giant Thunder could just stand there doing nothing and withstand three minutes of attacks..."
The entirely golden, towering and formidable tank mecha stood there like a fool.
"MMP, are you joking? Why isn't it moving?"
Behind Mu Fan, a few members of the mecha team anxiously shouted out loud.
"Does it need to dodge with this size? Didn't you see the rock tail shot was going straight for the holy shield?"
Compared to the fifteen-meter-high super heavy shield, the rock tail energy arrow was like a finger poking at a wall, and it poked straight ahead.
"Old Gu is so steady, I wish I could go up there too."
A chubby guy said enviously.
But just as he spoke...
Boom!
A violent explosion sounded.
As the crimson energy arrow was about to hit the shield, it suddenly raised eerily!
A reverse parabola closely hugged the shield, bypassed the [Holy Shield Giant Thunder]'s shield and head, like a scorpion tail's sudden whip, instantly striking the golden giant mecha's back.
In a flash, a sea of crimson flames rose on the back of the [Holy Shield Giant Thunder], accompanied by thick black smoke.
The scene erupted with exclamations.
"Low-altitude reverse arc shooting."
"Corrosion burning."
The Holy Shield Giant Thunder's body shook, and a ton of white foam instantly covered its back, enveloping the flames.
Steam covered the towering mecha.
The audience was speechless.
"It's indeed a professional tank dummy, even the back is equipped with over sixteen strong cooling fire extinguishing devices... I really wonder what situations this mecha has encountered in actual combat."
A round-headed bespectacled student mumbled.
His companion beside him shook his head, "I'm more curious about how he discovered this mecha; absolutely ruthless."
In the sky, the blonde Slut Man Boogie Billy, his mouth twitched, his high spirits suddenly wavered.
"This, um... very hard."
Billy licked his lips, his eyes brightened as if he finally found something to praise.
"A real man isn't afraid of fire."
In the steaming mist, the Holy Shield Giant Thunder took a step forward, heavily stomping the ground.
The entire fighting platform shuddered, leaving only a shallow black pit on its back, [Holy Shield Giant Thunder] planted its shield into the ground, astonishingly ready to stand its ground.
"..."
Ruan Xiongfei and Bach both had wonderful expressions on their faces.
Qi Longxiang's face, however, unusually showed a humorous expression, but his eyes were notably approving, nodding affirmatively.
This student, who dove low to deliver points, had an exceptionally clear plan.
Maximizing the mecha's advantages to make up for his operational disadvantages, this thought process holds great practical significance in a genuine military battle.
From this perspective, Qi Longxiang greatly approves and appreciates this approach.
Not sure what purpose the student named Gu Yunyou has, but the exposure time on stage is definitely enough.
This is a richly intelligent choice.
In the cockpit, Pang Huang gazed at the nearly rascally mecha opposite, anger flashing in his eyes.
He was kept secluded by the academy until today, how did he end up facing such an opponent in the final bout!
His real battlefield should have been the round-robin battle of the top 16.
How could he be trapped here by an obscure opponent with such a humiliating posture?
The [Three Rock Scorpion] instantly sprinted to the left side, but its right hand suddenly swung.
A spinning disc tracing an arc landed on the ground, then skimmed rapidly close to the ground.
"Gray Rock Thunder Strike! This is the Three Rock Scorpion's mid-range directed landmine."
Hearing the discussion beside him, the chubby guy's eyes seemed a bit glazed, wasn't this the attack method he'd been eagerly anticipating?
[Holy Shield Giant Thunder]'s body tilted slightly, facing the direction of the [Three Rock Scorpion]'s movement, but that Gray Rock Thunder silently bypassed the line of sight and suddenly plunged into the back of the shield.
Boom!
Another explosive sound echoed.
Gray-white flames rose beneath the golden giant mecha.
Then thick foam gushed out again...
The rising flames were once again forcibly extinguished.
The [Holy Shield Giant Thunder], seemingly immortal in the fiery flames, wasn't considerably affected.
"Scorpion Tail Stinger!"
Ding!
This time the holy shield seemed to finally fend off a strike amidst the confusion.
Silent and stealthy, the scorpion tail's tip burst into fierce sparks.
Holy Shield Giant Thunder was actually... unharmed.
The two mechas collided, and the scorpion tail once again swiveled in a hook, finally piercing the opponent's back.
The audience erupted in cheers.
But Gu Yunyou, piloting the mecha, quickly dodged behind the shield; the scorpion tail's penetration damage did not affect its movements.
Ding Chuan's students had rather fabulous expressions, they looked at the scene, finding it hilarious, yet couldn't laugh thinking they might lose...
"Ding Chuan really is despicable, even such shameless mechas can make it on stage."
The Three Rock Scorpion's attacks seemed to succeed once every three attempts. Given the emerging attack patterns and intense frequency, it's apparent Pang Huang wanted to knock the opponent down swiftly.
However, the Holy Shield Giant Thunder's defense seemed a bit too robust, desperately guarding crucial parts from critical damage, yet it managed to hold out for over two minutes.
The golden coating had turned black, the Holy Shield Giant Thunder's back was riddled with holes, yet it still stood firm.
"MD, this mecha is really tough, if I hadn't just found out it's not for sale to the military, I'd even try to persuade my family to buy one." An affluent student had his eyes red from watching.
Mu Fan now felt a bit worried that Gu Yunyou wouldn't be genuinely trying to hold out forcefully for a while longer.
Even White Hair's expression had lost its initial light-heartedness, he furrowed his brows and murmured worriedly:
"Isn't this a bit overdone, don't take it too seriously! Just surrender if you must."
Ding Chuan's students' eyes were also filled with worry...
Yet, nobody knew, inside the Holy Shield Giant Thunder's cockpit, under a rapidly flashing alarm light, Gu Yunyou was resting his chin with one hand, and casually operating the control panel with the other.
Not even the occasionally rising fire clouds and intense tremors could make him sway even the slightest.
He even... yawned.
"Just 20 seconds left to seek an opportunity to surrender, it's like handing in a report, then it's time to prepare for the main event."
Gu Yunyou muttered to himself, glancing at the timer, then at the armor's value.
He could still endure at least ten more blows.
Boom!
A Brown Rock Mine hit the mecha's rear heel, armor directly bursting apart, yet the Holy Shield Giant Thunder swayed but didn't fall.
"...three more seconds till I can surrender in a more dignified posture."
Gu Yunyou took his hands off the control panel, stretching lazily.
However, no one saw Pang Huang's chest rise and fall accelerating in the cockpit, he couldn't bear such disgusting battle any longer.
He retreated his mecha, looking up at the opponent.
"Don't cower behind like a coward, come out."
"Didn't your father ever teach you how to be a man? You coward."
Pang Huang's angry, taunting voice resonated strongly!
The left hand of the Holy Shield Giant Thunder, which had just relaxed its grip on the shield, suddenly tightened upon hearing this!
In the cockpit, Gu Yunyou's expression instantly darkened, his gaze chillingly frightful.
