"I don't want to watch anymore either."
The sound just now seemed like just an opening.
Anyone can step up in this match, but they really can't accept Gu Yunyou being sent out in a decisive match video.
"Tutor!"
A few students looked grimly towards the tutor team over there. They turned on their communication earpieces.
However, after holding back their grievances and questioning in the voice channel, Bach stood on the podium looking at them, tapped his earpiece, and his lips moved slightly.
A few sentences were spoken...
Those people finally understood why Gu Yunyou would say such things.
Only, Gu Yunyou's expression seemed indifferent to winning or losing, making it hard for them to accept for a while.
"Forget it, we're going to lose anyway, let's see how many seconds he can last."
"I'm just afraid he might want to show off too much and end up getting crushed. That would be hilarious."
"Mu Fan, I hope your friend has some self-awareness."
Red Cat Jes said coldly.
Hearing his name, Mu Fan shrugged, not answering. Based on his understanding of Gu Yunyou's character...
Young Master Gu is probably quite self-aware.
But for some reason, seeing Gu Yunyou's indifferent expression, Mu Fan wasn't that worried.
…
In the stands, White Hair sucked in a cold breath, "It really is Old Gu, this must be the biggest joke this year."
"He's actually going up... and at the decisive point..."
The fatty swallowed, put down his Sky Communication, and mumbled, "I won't be filming this decisive match this time..."
If my selfie background catches the moment Old Gu is blasted while piloting the mecha, that'd be awkward.
"What do you think, what mecha will Young Master Gu choose?" Li Xiaoxi asked seriously.
"What mecha he chooses... does it really matter to him?" White Hair said quietly.
As if to match his words, the moment his voice fell, the referee's voice followed immediately:
"The 17th match begins, Gonia War Academy's mecha in play—Three Rock Scorpion!"
"Dingchuan Academy's mecha in play—Holy Shield Giant Thunder!"
When the name "Holy Shield Giant Thunder" appeared, the scene paused, and the average audience looked bewildered. They just felt the name seemed overly dynamic, but why hadn't they heard of it much before?
Those truly knowledgeable about mecha were having spectacular expressions on their faces.
White Hair's fingers rapidly operated on the Sky Communication, a light screen popped up, and he stared at it for a while, then let out a deep sigh:
"Smart!"
"Old Gu can really go all out at crucial moments."
The fatty and others crowded around quickly, and upon seeing that 30-meter-tall, ultra-heavy mecha wielding a 20-meter-tall giant shield...
Their reaction was unanimous silence.
[Holy Shield Giant Thunder: Non-standard military mecha, a dedicated target for pioneering battles under extreme conditions, possesses excellent load capacity, can attach high-intensity armor. Due to the giant elephant V-series engine, it has high load-bearing and endurance, but with the relatively outdated rapid-fire broad-spectrum circuit, this mecha's mobility ranks at the bottom of all A-class mechas. As compensation, the quadruple-structure-laminated High Steel Holy Shield is its only weapon, able to withstand repeated bombardment from over twenty siege tanks for 1 minute...]
They understood the implication of pioneering... Translated directly, it means the Holy Shield Giant Thunder mecha is used by the military as a target to draw fire when exploring new planets.
This mecha has a heavy shell and high-strength giant shield, but lacks a key compatible heart.
This is just a big target for firepower.
Ghost Tiger Crock's expression was simply extraordinary.
There's actually such a way to muddle through tactics...
"The Three Rock Scorpion, possessing excellent mid-short range firepower dogfight characteristics, can easily tease the Holy Shield Giant Thunder to death. However, breaking through the opponent's defense could require at least three minutes of continuous bombardment. Once the three minutes are up, surrendering is natural..."
"The academy is full of talents."
Finally, as deputy president of the Mecha Club, Crock squeezed out such a dry sentence.
"It's safe."
In the tutor team, Bach breathed a sigh of relief and chuckled.
"Old Bach, is that kid your son?"
Ruan Xiongfei's words nearly made Bach explode.
…
The mecha, covered in gray-white markings, stood quietly in the arena.
The Three Rock Scorpion's mecha body is about 15 meters in height, already considered medium to large size, with a scorpion tail dragging on the ground with a hooked tip, its end glittering with a gray-white metallic sheen, its rear shoulders bulging high up like two massive tumors.
As for its drooping arms, there are thin limbs wrapped around its fists.
The entire mecha bent over, head lowered, looking like a statue at a glance.
"Pang Huang is the strongest of this year's Gonia War Academy."
The Female War God from Gowan Academy, Rebecca, who had previously commented on Mu Fan's fight, spoke again at this moment.
Her beautiful eyes, filled with wild aggression, revealed interested brilliance.
"If it weren't for my brother being in Gonia's Mecha Team, I wouldn't even know Gonia still had such a hidden master."
"But..." Her attractive eyebrows furrowed.
"This match is probably not worth watching, is Dingchuan Academy playing dirty? Once a grandeur spirit, it's becoming so distant."
…
"Boom!"
"Boom!"
The heavy footsteps came closer and closer. Within all the audiences' sight, the giant ultra-heavy mecha, Holy Shield Giant Thunder, walked step by step into the arena. The nearby spectators could feel the tremor of the Sky Arena's steel floor with each step of the heavy mecha.
They feared the mecha might accidentally step through the steel floor of the arena.
Falling from such a height would be something.
"If I hadn't just read the mecha introduction, I'd even believe you saying it's an S-class now."
A student exclaimed in disbelief beside "Light Bat" Mo Huaren.
"Choosing a mecha is a sign of respect towards opponents, but... that respect is mutual!"
A cold voice emerged from the head of the Three Rock Scorpion.
It was clearly Pang Huang's voice, and you could clearly hear the tinge of anger contained within it.
"I specialize in two mechas. This Three Rock Scorpion is one of them. And you? Don't tell me your specialty is driving this cannon fodder meat shield!"
Under Pang Huang's cold gaze, the golden, tall, and robust Holy Shield Giant Thunder slowly came to a halt.
A lazy voice floated out:
"I specialize in defense."
This strong contrast almost made White Hair on the stands explode.
The indifference was so obvious even a fool could hear it!
"Such an out-of-the-box reason is like a tornado in the pretense world... anyone piloting that mecha could say they specialize in defense. Can you put a little heart into it, my dude?"
The Three Rock Scorpion seemed to be provoked by this remark, its scorpion tail suddenly lifted high, a brilliant red light gleamed at the tip of the poison thorn.
"Those who insult me, will pay the price! You coward."
