Capítulo 1067: Chapter 3: Vika Mining and the Resistance Army (Side Story 03)
(This chapter is an extra from “Star Alliance · Conflict” Chapter 3.)
…
“Master, what are you looking at?”
The coquettish voice came through, surprisingly it was Zero in a girl’s dress. She did not avoid Lin Lu’s gaze; instead, she blinked.
Lin Lu wiped his nose indifferently and then put on a righteous expression.
“I’m guessing what cosmetics you used today.”
“Doctor, your shoe.” This time A spoke suddenly, his voice as flat as his expression, without fluctuation.
Zero cast an unhappy glance at her brother, pouted without speaking, but intentionally shook her little face in front of Lin Lu.
Lin Lu wiped his nose again, trying hard to act like a gentleman.
“Hehe~~” Zero giggled, jumped back, and then looked at Lin Lu with soft eyes.
[Is this really an Artificial Person!]
Lin Lu forced down his inner guilt, coughed and stood up.
“Alright, let’s go…”
Before he finished speaking, with a loud bang, a red light suddenly bloomed in the sky outside the hall, the signal flare of the Guard Corps.
A ten-person guard team rushed in directly from the hall entrance.
When Lin Lu saw the young man with thick eyebrows and big eyes, naturally born with a judge’s righteous face, his expression instantly became splendid.
“Ji Ku!”
“Mr. Lin Lu, where are you going? The Imperial Elder Council requests your presence.” Ji Ku asked expressionlessly, instantly changing the atmosphere in the hall to solemn.
“Where I am going involves Imperial Military Department secrets, so Captain Ji Ku should not inquire further, as your permissions are insufficient.”
Lin Lu also had a righteous face, which, combined with his handsome features, made him extremely convincing.
“Oh? Then where is the Imperial Military Department pass?”
Ji Ku looked at him and directly extended his hand.
Lin Lu’s back stiffened…
“Mr. Lin Lu?”
“Oh, I brought it; I’ll give it to you now.” Lin Lu raised his left hand, spreading his four fingers seemingly unintentionally and directly reached into his inner pocket.
Ji Ku and the nine behind him waited silently with magnetic impact guns in hand.
“Ji Mei? Why are you here.” Lin Lu seemed to unintentionally raise his head, then widened his eyes and shouted towards the back.
Huh?
Ji Ku and the nine people behind him turned their heads simultaneously.
Mind you, Ji Mei was even scarier to them than Ji Ku.
But when they turned around, they found nothing.
Tricked!
Ji Ku suddenly turned to draw his gun.
“Zero!”
The seemingly harmless girl standing beside them suddenly raised her palm.
A scatter of steel beads with tiny suction cups was precisely thrown from her hand.
Bang, bang, bang!
A series of impact sounds rang out.
The steel beads accurately attached to the legs of these ten people.
Lin Lu smiled at Ji Ku, holding a button activator and raising it high.
“Let that crazy woman calm down for two days; I’ll treat you to a drink when I return.”
With that, his thumb pressed down strongly.
A dazzling electric light bloomed in front of them.
In the seemingly horrified gaze of Zero, the hair of these ten people stood up from the electric shock, white smoke coming out of their mouths, and they fell to the ground twitching.
Lin Lu looked at Ji Ku, whose eyes revealed unwillingness and anger, his expression heavy.
“Sorry, brother.”
“You’re so amazing, master.” The girl’s voice was sweet like glutinous rice, her eyes full of admiration.
“Shut up!”
Lin Lu glared at her fiercely and then looked at A, “Is the flight arranged, hurry and get me out of here! Quickly!”
Artificial Person A turned his emotionless eyes towards him, nodding.
“The car is just outside the hall, the second guard team is one minute away from here.”
“Goodbye.”
Lin Lu sprinted frantically.
Zero made a funny face at the ten electrocuted people and then rushed out of the hall with her brother A, instantly leaving Lin Lu behind in just half a second.
However, the two were quite considerate, each grabbing an arm and directly pulling Lin Lu into the just-stopped Floating Car.
With a buzz, the Floating Car surged toward the outside.
A sat in the driver’s seat calmly, the speedometer’s speed instantly surpassing 200 kilometers per hour!
Meanwhile, Lin Lu was panting heavily in the back seat, and the charming and lovely girl Zero, smiled as she used her soft little hands to massage Lin Lu’s legs.
“Master, you should exercise.”
Lin Lu glared at her with a blackened face, then looked at the rapidly approaching obstacles ahead.
“This is the first time dealing with the Vika Federation, Alpha’s Smart Brain cluster needs resources that happen to be in those people’s hands. A, report the information you’ve gathered, any good suggestions for obtaining the vast resources we need?”
A continued to drive the Floating Car steadily, looking ahead, and replied calmly:
“Doctor, the primary resources you’ve previously gathered were Helium-3 and Antimatter, according to your estimated needs the quantities are 18 million tons and 500 tons respectively, the only known way of acquisition is through Vika Mining Company.”
“Vika Mining Company, a subsidiary of the Vika Federation government, located in the VEGA Star System, is a massive organization managing human space colonization with over a hundred billion space miners under direct jurisdiction.”
“The quantity you need is huge but less than a quarter of Vika’s annual mineral production. But this country and this company, their dictatorial nature far exceeds our Yake Empire, absolutely won’t sell rare resources like Antimatter. Plus, given your stipulation of acquiring these personally, my suggestion is… start with the miners.”
In the time it took to speak, A, with his delicate features, had already turned thirteen corners, and the chasing convoy behind had surpassed twenty vehicles.
“Miners? Bypass the company and directly approach the lowest level?”
Lin Lu, ignoring the small hands massaging him, fell into thought.
“To be precise, the Resistance Army among miners… according to preliminary data retrieved by Alpha, the Vika Federation is only interested in precious minerals mined by miners and lacks basic respect for these unfortunate people.”
“These miners occupy multiple resource asteroids, Doctor, you can do something for them with your wisdom.”
Now, Artificial Person A could already see the Space Port gates, although the rising ground bolts were indicative of an attempt to block this unknown vehicle’s entrance.
“Alpha.”
Lin Lu snapped his fingers.
A Imperial Military Affairs Department pass directive flashed through the car’s screen, simultaneously requesting entry and a ten-minute lockdown.
The Space Port’s defense personnel hurriedly retracted the ground bolts and in their respectful gazes, this black Floating Car flashed by.
Lin Lu scratched his chin, “… provide more advanced technical support, trade firearms using Yake Empire’s identity? Analyze the feasibility of this method for me.”
“The Resistance Army is using weapons two generations behind the Vika Federation’s, feasibility exceeds 90%, Lin Lu.” Alpha swiftly displayed a large section of information on the light screen, illustrating a vivid weapon resource comparison.
“A, help me find a Resistance Army base, design a transfer route.”
After speaking, Lin Lu looked at the charming girl beside him, “Change into normal clothes, bring your stuff, I don’t want to end up in vain out there.”
“Master, your life is a thousand times more important than mine.”
Zero gave him a coquettish look and then took out a tablet displaying countless images.
“Master, look, what clothes do you prefer?”
“This is secretary attire.”
…
Lin Lu’s breath just got somewhat heavy.
“I…”
“We’ve arrived!”
With a sudden brake, A turned his delicate face, seriously informing Lin Lu.
In front of the Floating Car, an interstellar cruise ship stood silently.
