Chapter 1053: Arrange a Meeting
"I really want to meet him."
"Did your brother invite him? It wasn’t specifically for you, was it?"
"Not at all, it’s not my birthday or anything. My sister-in-law is pregnant with twins, so my brother organized a party, but it was Nangong Jin who invited Alvin," Di Jinxuan replied on her phone.
"What? Nangong Jin? Which Nangong Jin?"
"You don’t mean the dancer Nangong Jin, do you? From Jin Palace?"
"Jin Palace! Damn, does it have to be that thrilling? Alvin and Jin Palace, wow!"
The classmates’ enthusiasm was unstoppable, the QQ chat group nearly crashed in a moment, and messages flooded in, all filled with shock and surprise.
Even the teacher rushed out, "Jin Palace and Prince Alvin? At your house!!"
He even specially mentioned Di Jinxuan.
"Can you take a photo or something, just to meet? We’d like to see them too."
"Yeah, yeah, just to see."
A whole bunch of people mentioned Di Jinxuan, and her QQ account froze.
Things got a bit awkward.
She wondered if she had gotten too excited. The way they talked in the group made it seem like she had inadvertently revealed something.
Both Alvin and Nangong Jin did not seem like the type of people who enjoyed being disturbed.
Thinking it over, Di Jinxuan turned off her data and decided to just play dead.
But then the teacher actually called her, sounding so excited he was almost incoherent, "Xuanxuan, did you say Jin Palace and Prince Alvin are guests at your house? Could you make a request, arrange it so our department can meet them too? Not too many people, just a few teachers and student representatives, would that work?"
"Uh." Di Jinxuan scratched her head, thinking, Emma, she had just been a bit excited and showed off a bit, did they really need to get this worked up?
"This..." Di Jinxuan thought for a moment, then honestly responded, "Teacher, I don’t know if I can invite them."
"No worries, you can try," the teacher said with a friendly smile.
Di Jinxuan remembered that Nangong Jin was still nursing an injured waist. Even if they met, he wouldn’t be able to dance, let alone agree to perform in front of others.
However, the teacher was persistent, insisting she try.
Di Jinxuan reluctantly said, "Alright, I’ll try, but it’s pretty unlikely."
The teacher was ultimately disappointed but had to reply, "Okay, just give it a try, and if it doesn’t work out, that’s fine."
After all, figures like Nangong Jin and Alvin were not the kind that people could just meet whenever they wanted.
Alvin was a current top-tier superstar and also had the distinguished status of a prince, so security was a greater concern for him than for ordinary stars, and he generally wouldn’t appear at such events.
Except for concerts and some international high-end dance competitions.
At those dance competitions, he only served as an honorary judge, showing up just to make an appearance and watch the final.
Thus, every time there was a big dance competition, they had to go through great effort just to get Alvin to come.
Not to mention Nangong Jin.
Nangong Jin had vanished from the dance scene for ten years, leaving behind only legends and myths; no one could convince him to come.
During the international dance competitions, the International Dance Council deployed many longstanding members, even Nangong Jin’s former teachers, but they still couldn’t persuade him in the end.
So it was only natural that Di Jinxuan could not invite them.
Still, even the teacher envied Di Jinxuan for being able to see these two in person.
Since Di Jinxuan couldn’t invite them, the teacher couldn’t really say much, but deep down, he was pleased, hoping that maybe Di Jinxuan would get some tips from them and further improve her dance skills.
The kid was quite talented after all.
