Chapter 1147 - 667: Cooperation with the Church of the Ocean Goddess
Treasure Pearl Sea, Pearl Fishman Clan,
Within the embrace of the bay, the Fishman Tribe quietly thrived, blending with the azure waters, as if a miracle born from the sea itself.
Sunlight filtered through the gentle waves, bestowing a warm golden glow upon this water realm, enveloping the bustling Fishman Village.
The appearance of this Fishman Village has undergone significant changes compared to the past.
The former panic and unease among the fishmen receded like the ebbing tide, replaced by a scene of order and vitality.
Dwellings meticulously built with coral, shells, and seaweed were both beautiful and practical, scattered gracefully across various corners of the bay.
As the tribe prospered continually, absorbing numerous smaller Fishman Tribes, the number of these dwellings steadily increased, and the village’s area was quietly expanding.
Within the village, fishmen moved back and forth, busy and orderly.
Some fishmen held fishing nets, with lively fish leaping inside, their harvest for the day; others carried seaweed on their shoulders, used to reinforce and expand dwellings; still others carried vibrant shells, items for trade with the outside world, also serving as decorations for their homes.
Their faces were filled with satisfaction and hope, communicating with each other in their unique language, punctuated with bursts of laughter, adding vitality and joy.
And at the center of the village stood a solemn altar, it was the spiritual symbol of the Fishman Tribe, and a source of their pride.
Passing fishmen, regardless of age, would involuntarily slow down, if not stop, casting respectful glances at the figure atop the altar.
Their eyes showed respect for the strong, admiration for the tribal hero, and anticipation for a brighter future for the tribe.
All fishmen believed that under the lead of the legendary Fishman Claus, a better future awaited them.
Meanwhile, Lis’s Undead Avatar on the altar also opened his eyes.
He stood up and moved his body, feeling the surging power within him, and nodded in satisfaction.
The Power of Faith absorbed from the Fishman Tribe during this period was quite beneficial to Lis.
Had it not been that the specialty of the [Chaos Faith Convergence] lost a considerable amount of Faith power during purification, he could have obtained more Chaotic Faith Power.
But this was inevitable, for the unpurified Power of Faith was no different from poison for the current Lis.
Absorbing it recklessly could admittedly enhance his power greatly in the short term, but it would also present hefty risks.
Lis was not shortsighted, nor anxious to rush things; the [Chaos Faith Convergence]’s purification of Faith power actually saved Lis a lot of effort.
After a brief review of the gains, Lis stood up to leave.
He had more important matters to attend to.
He needed to find the Legendary Priest O’Neill of the Coral Clan.
Regarding the newly emerged World Server, the Blue Sea Mini World, he had a new idea.
In this Blue Sea Mini World, since most of the world is covered by ocean, players could only reach other areas by sea vessels.
And for players to successfully conquer this small world, they needed to capture Rad Island of this small world.
This small island was located at the intersection of the northwest and southeast oceans of the Blue Sea Mini World, an unpopulated island of significant size.
As long as Rad Island was held for 3 days, the server of the occupying players would be deemed victorious in this world server, earning them the final reward.
And only upon landing on this island would this information be revealed to the players.
Currently, players from almost all servers had entered this small world, actively exploring outward centered around the small world’s passages.
There was still some time before they reached Rad Island.
Lis was preparing to use the opportunity presented by the world server to recruit some players from other servers in advance.
Having another field of crops isn’t a bad idea.
Yet the benefits gleaned from the [Swamp Lizard Man Nest] were rather abundant, and he still hadn’t fully absorbed them, plus this Blue Sea Mini World didn’t hold much valuable resources.
So Lis wasn’t in a hurry to act either.
After the players from other continents contacted those from the Fanor Continent and witnessed the power gap, curiosity would naturally arise, prompting them to proactively learn about the White Dove Chamber of Commerce and the support Kane Floating City offered to players.
It would be easier for Lis to act then.
But the appearance of Boles reminded Lis of a particular matter.
In truth, the strongest entities in the Blue Sea Mini World weren’t the Humans living on the islands, but the Sea Beasts and Fishmen living within the ocean.
In fact, the strength of the Fishman Clan in the Blue Sea Mini World was far superior to that of Humans.
However, Fishmen with Wisdom did not wish to contact Humans, nor did they attack merchant ships like Sea Beasts, so Humans knew little about them.
But Lis knew all too well!
In fact, besides those two legendary Sea Beast Emperors, there was also a legend in the Blue Sea Fishman Tribe within the Blue Sea Mini World.
Originally, this had little relation to Lis.
After all, those Fishmen didn’t intervene in national wars.
But Lis remembered he still had a Fishman Legend as his avatar!
Enjoying the benefits brought by the Faith power from the Fishman Tribe, naturally, Lis also desired more.
