Chapter 1106 - 646: Prologue to Version 3.0 · Meteor_2
For this reason, Morris naturally couldn’t understand why the players acted this way.
Lis deeply understood that to guide players to work for him, it was impossible to use force.
Players aren’t afraid of death, let alone you... unless an NPC uses special methods to ban them.
To Lis, players are more important as an experience pack, so naturally, the more the better.
Therefore, Lis prepared to use the main storyline clues from the 3.0 version as bait to attract more players to his side.
...
Zhao Zhao and Mo Yun saw their vision blur, and in an instant, they were back outside Kane Castle.
"Boss, where did you go?"
Si Lu and the others, who were cautiously observing from afar, saw the two reappear and quickly rushed over.
"Nothing much, we were just called over by Lis, got a little clue about the 3.0 storyline."
Mo Yun tilted her head smugly; this was the confidence that made her the big sister of [Embers of the Fire].
Forget Golden Dragon Ludwig, even Lis knew her, who could resist that?
Speaking of which, Ludwig has been gone for so long, I wonder how he’s doing now?
Thinking this, Mo Yun quickly shook her head, trying to shake this thought away.
Having just relaxed a bit, Mo Yun didn’t want to get locked up again.
"Wogam, is it really that awesome?"
The teammate beside her was very excited; this was a clue to the 3.0 storyline that no one knew about.
"Come on, let’s go back and talk."
Although Zhao Zhao was excited too, she was still a bit more composed compared to Mo Yun.
The group from [Embers of the Fire] then eagerly followed Zhao Zhao back to the base, and soon a related post appeared on the player forums.
[Explosive! The most authentic 3.0 version storyline clue leaked, surprisingly located here?]
Players browsing the forums saw these words and quickly clicked in.
Although the forum was flooded with news about the 3.0 version storyline clues over the past few days, mostly fake, players were still enthusiastic, clicking in one after the other, only to curse and exit after.
It was a cycle, repeated over and over again.
However, the post by Zhao Zhao instantly caught the attention of the players, soaring to the top of the player forums.
Not only did it contain the intelligence obtained by Zhao Zhao, but it also had a video of interactions with legendary strongmen Lis and Morris, it couldn’t get more real!
...
"Damn, is it real that the 3.0 version is related to this Lis, isn’t this guy’s story role ever-completing?"
"It must be real; didn’t you see it’s posted by Zhao Zhao? This is a professional god, not like those who fabricate false intelligence for hype!"
"Danerluo Port! Grandpa Yaonaewo Heya is here!"
"Tsk, before I thought there were too many people going to Danerluo Port, so I didn’t bother, if the 3.0 version starts there, I must go!"
"What exactly is going to happen in version 3.0? ’Divine Revelation’, you’re terrible, announcing earlier wouldn’t lose you money!"
"Lis, you’re my male god, I want to have your babies!!!"
"Monkey Bro from above, keep your scent, why are you everywhere?"
"I’m not curious about anything else, I just want to know if version 3.0 will let us take off our pants?"
...
Many players, upon seeing Zhao Zhao’s post, immediately headed towards Danerluo Port.
Before this, several strategy experts had speculated that if the 3.0 version was indeed a world server national war, the location wouldn’t be on any continent but more likely a new location with dedicated passageways.
In light of this, Danerluo Port seemed very likely to be one of the key places.
Otherwise, Legendary Strongmen Lis and Morris wouldn’t appear together, and with such gravity.
With this, the vast majority of players on Fanor Continent were heading towards Danerluo Port.
Lis also naturally learned of this from the player forums and arranged for Mora to have the White Dove Guild quickly build new houses outside Danerluo Port City, stocking various extraordinary materials.
Using the excuse of recruiting the Undead to deal with future changes, Lis’s arrangements drew no attention.
Lis clearly understood that once the Phillips Crystal descends to Gaia World and people realize its wonders, its location would become the busiest place on the continent.
Never mind the extraordinary forces, even ordinary adventurers would flock there, all wanting to earn wealth from exploring other-dimensional small worlds.
This would be a grand feast in Gaia World, and also the beginning of chaos.
In Lis’s previous life, the three places on Fanor Continent where Phillips Crystals were located were absolute chaos, where no legal rules applied, and only strength could survive and take away the rich bounties from other planes.
However, with several legends in his domain and a floating city in the sky, Lis was confident he could control the situation.
Anyone wanting to go through Phillips Crystal to travel to the Otherworld in Danerluo Port would have to pay taxes to Lis!
After all, he was the lord of this land!
Just like on Blue Star in Lis’s past life, those who made the most money in gold mine areas weren’t the gold diggers, but those providing accommodation, food, tools, entertainment venues, and a range of services.
...
As players rushed to Danerluo Port, a few days later, the 3.0 version update arrived as promised.
"Updated, updated!"
"Where’s the world server, serve it up quickly!"
"Damn, ’Divine Revelation’, you’re terrible, why can’t we take off our pants!"
...
The figure of Lis appeared above Kane Floating City, and even without observing the players, he knew the 3.0 version had arrived.
Previously, the teleport channels he set up outside Danerluo Port had been affected by an unknown force, which was probably a sign of the Phillips Crystal’s arrival.
During this period, he continuously monitored the changes in the teleport channels, and as their instability peaked, the Phillips Crystal was finally about to arrive.
Suddenly, Lis seemed to hear the sound of space cracking and hurriedly looked up at the far horizon.
In the vast azure daylight sky, an unprecedented anomaly was quietly unfolding.
Deep within the vast sky, it seemed a mysterious strength had quietly descended, as a massive meteor with an ancient, majestic aura suddenly broke through the celestial silence.
It was like a golden arrow traversing time and space, rushing out from the endless darkness of the Abyss, instantly illuminating the entire sky.
Phillips Crystal!
Lis had just sensed an anomaly, which must have been the Phillips Crystal breaking through the outer layer of Gaia World.
At this moment, Morris appeared beside Lis, solemnly looking up at the golden meteor falling from the sky.
The meteor appeared huge, its surface burning with a dazzling golden brilliance, even standing out in the broad daylight as if dimming the sun itself.
The golden light poured down like molten gold, flowing across the sky as if dyeing the entire heavens with a golden hue.
At this moment, players who had just completed the update and logged in also noticed the strangeness in the sky, lifting their heads to gaze upwards, awash with indescribable shock and awe.
The golden meteor streaked across the sky at an astonishing speed, leaving a long and brilliant trail, like the most splendid artwork in the sky, transcending the boundaries of time and space, connecting the mysteries of heaven and earth.
Just as the players held their breath watching, the massive meteor suddenly underwent a fascinating transformation.
It seemed to be drawn by some mysterious force, gradually and firmly dividing into three somewhat smaller meteors.
Each of these three smaller meteors carried the previous grandeur and might, leaning into each other yet independently streaking across the sky with greater speed, falling towards the Fanor Continent.
As they continued to descend, an indescribable energy ripple seemed to echo beside the players, as if the world was trembling for this celestial feast.
"Damn, wait, why does this meteor keep getting bigger?"
