1046 The Tin Man
Ah?
Hearing Qiu Yaokang’s words, everyone was stunned.
Why did this experiment sound so inhumane?
“Hmm….”
Fang Heng stroked his chin, thinking about the feasibility of the experiment.
Qiu Yaokang continued, “Also, the material of this crystal is very strange. I need to collect more spike crystals for research. I need to find a way to solve the problem of the spikes exploding after being in contact with blood.”
“Alright,” Fang Heng agreed immediately.
With the help of the mages, the Tier 2 barbarian’s movement speed was greatly reduced.
Currently, the barbarian team leader was being controlled by the Lickers. Now was the best time to use him as a test subject!
Qiu Yaokang looked at Ma Xiaowan and the others and said, “You’ve all heard it. I wonder if we can get the mages from your mercenary group to cooperate with us and help us with a simple little experiment.”
Simple little experiment?
Ma Xiaowan finally understood why necromancers were called disasters on the continent.
This simple little experiment was the source of disaster!
Ma Xiaowan looked at Fang Heng, who was standing beside Qiu Yaokang and tried her best to squeeze out a smile that wasn’t too ugly.
“O-okay.”
“If you want to get the spikes, you must first withstand the piercing damage of the spikes…”
Qiu Yaokang lowered his head and thought for a while. He soon had an idea. He turned to look at Ao Cang and asked, “Do you have any thick armor? The thicker the better.”
“There is, but…”
Captain Ao Cang hesitated for a moment. He really wanted to say that very few people would wear this kind of thick armor.
It was too heavy!
Once it was put on, it would be impossible to move, turning one into a living turtle shell.
Fang Heng interrupted, “Captain Ao Cang, please hurry.”
“Okay, I’ll get someone to get it from the warehouse for you.”
“I’ll go with you.”
Very quickly, a few soldiers found the heavy armor that the Empire had kept for many years in the village warehouse.
A group of soldiers dragged heavy boxes to the bottom of the sentry tower.
The boxes were piled up in a forgotten corner in the deepest part of the warehouse, so much so that they were covered with cobwebs.
Opening the lid, a thick layer of dust spread out from the box.
“Come, I’ll have to trouble everyone to do me a favor.”
Fang Heng controlled the vine zombie clones to come over and put on a layer of armor with the help of the soldiers.
Done!
The zombie clone had inherited some of Fang Heng’s attributes, and its vitality attribute fully met the equipment requirements of the armor.
As for the negative effects such as movement speed and attack speed that would be inflicted upon heavy armor, they didn’t have much of an effect on the vine zombie’s slow movements.
Fang Heng found the equipment hint of the vine zombie from the dense and constantly refreshing game battle hints. After making sure that there was no problem, he made a hand gesture to Qiu Yaokang, who was on the sentry tower, indicating that everything was ready.
“Yes, let’s begin the test.”
Qiu Yaokang stood on the sentry tower and muttered to himself in a low voice. He took out a pen and paper and responded to Fang Heng with a gesture.
Under Fang Heng’s control, 32 vine zombies in heavy armor walked toward the stone wall.
On the battlefield, Ventalita was having a headache from the human spells.
He did not expect such a troublesome group of mages to be hiding in a small village!
What made him even more uneasy was that the beasts controlled by the barbarians were dying out quickly.
Eh? What was that?
Ventalita noticed a large number of armored human soldiers walking out of the village. They were wrapped in thick armor from head to tail. As the armor was too thick, it even swayed a little when they walked.
Looking at the direction they’re heading towards…
“Huh?”
They were heading toward him?
Ventalita raised an eyebrow. He suddenly realized that the ghouls around him had retreated consciously, and several weakening spells had enveloped him.
He immediately felt his shoulder sink, and his body became extremely tired.
Troublesome humans!
Did they think that they could restrain him with these ridiculous armored soldiers?
Ventalita’s heart was filled with anger as he raised his hand.
Fine black, rhombus-shaped spikes shot out from the surface of his body.
“Chi Chi Chi!!!”
The dense spikes bombarded the thick armor of the armored soldiers, piercing into their armor.
The zombie was hit by a huge impact, and it was knocked back more than two meters along with its armor. It fell to the ground with a heavy thud.
Ventalita frowned.
The outer layer of the soldier’s armor was much thicker than he had imagined! The blackthorns actually couldn’t break it!
After landing on the ground, the armored zombie struggled for a moment before slowly standing up and approaching Ventalita.
What?
Ventalita sensed something. His range of movement became smaller and smaller. He was about to be surrounded by the Empire’s tin men!
“Get lost!!”
Ventalita roared and dodged to the right.
However, with more than ten layers of debuffs on him, he was only slightly faster than the Empire’s tin men.
Two tin men blocked Ventalita’s path ahead of time.
“Thump!!!”
There was a heavy crash!
Ventalita had wanted to rely on his strong body to knock the armored warriors of the Empire away, but he did not expect to suffer a hidden loss!
His body hit the iron sheet, making a heavy sound.
Ventalita was knocked back a few steps, and the two tin men in front of him were also knocked back more than a meter and fell to the ground.
However, before Ventalita could stand still, two tin men on both sides came up to fill the gap and firmly blocked him.
“Chi Chi Chi!!!”
Several sharp spikes shot out from the black cuticles on the surface of his body and ruthlessly pierced forward!
The two armored zombies were once again sent flying by the spikes!
“Whoosh! Whoosh Whoosh!”
Ventalita had just dodged the pursuit of the armored zombies when the Lickers on the outermost perimeter immediately rushed up to fill in the gap.
Ventalita had no choice but to retreat again.
After a few times, the armors of the Empire’s armored soldiers were already full of black spikes.
Those damn soldiers of the Empire!
This happened a few times, and Ventalita was going crazy.
He realized that no matter how many times these soldiers were knocked down, they could get up and approach him again, surrounding him tightly in the center!
This group of soldiers seemed to have an extremely tenacious belief. They down again and again, and stood up again and again, walking towards him with determined steps!
However, Ventaally had no other choice!
Affected by the spell effects of the mages on the sentry tower in the distance, his movement speed had been greatly reduced, and he could not escape from the encirclement of the tin men at all!
Good! Then he might as well find a way to kill them completely!
Ventalita gritted his teeth and rushed towards one of the tinmen. He raised his hand, trying to remove the iron mask on the man’s face.
Eh? It can’t be opened?
Ventalita was stunned for a moment. He exerted force with his right hand and removed the mask from the face of the armored soldier.
“Chi!”
What the hell!
Ventalita’s pupils shrank.
He saw a pale and rotten face under the armor.
