1040 Taking the Initiative to Attack
“Well done! Victor!”
Fang Heng praised.
It was the right decision to bring three God-level NPCs!
If it wasn’t for Victor’s help in improving the brick formula and furnace design, as well as the design of the village’s wall defense according to the current environment, he would probably have to rely on the zombie clones to strengthen the village with the most primitive wood.
The effect was naturally much worse.
Seeing that the defense of the village was complete, Fang Heng lowered his head to check the mission hints.
After more than half an hour, the barbarian race had already occupied more than 70% of the village areas and affiliated buildings around Hani City.
Apart from that, the Empire had already declared the fall of a smaller border city.
Fang Heng thought to himself, “Since the Empire could stand for so many years under the attack of the barbarians, their strength shouldn’t be too bad. They should have already reacted and are on the way to rescue us.”
He still had to hold on for a little longer.
[Hint: It is estimated that the barbarians will attack the player’s current village in 40 minutes.]
There were 40 minutes left.
The construction of the brick wall had just begun, and even if it was completed in 40 minutes, it would not be able to completely dry to ensure the protective ability of the wall.
Instead of waiting in the village, it was better to find a way to disturb the barbarians and delay their attack!
Yes, he shall do that!
At the same time, he would also find a way to get another Tier 2 barbarian for Qiu Yaokang to study.
Right, he should also get more blood back!
Fang Heng’s wishful thinking was going wild.
The target was to harass and kill the barbarians near the village.
Therefore, they only needed to bring a small number of ordinary zombies and vine zombies. After all, their movement speed was too slow, and they needed to stay here to continue strengthening and building the village.
The main battle creatures would be the fusion Tyrant forms and the Lickers.
Fang Heng didn’t have time to rest. He raised his head and gulped down a bottle of coffee, then nodded to Mo Jiawei.
“Go! Let’s go out and find trouble with the barbarian race.”
“Alright,” Mo Jiawei nodded excitedly. “Where are you going to fight?”
“Yes, I have a target.”
Fang Heng nodded.
He had already sent out a group of Lickers to scout the area.
Through the game prompts, Fang Heng had already made some rough judgments about the situation in the outside world.
Overall, the situation in the area around Hani City was terrible.
The Empire had met the enemy head-on without any preparation and had almost collapsed under the barbarian’s attack.
“There’s an Empire outpost being attacked by the barbarians five kilometers away from us. We’ll try to go and rescue it.”
“Alright!”
…
In the area of Hany City, at the Empire’s outpost.
The outpost was built halfway up the mountain, and with the geographical advantage, the Empire guards put up a desperate resistance.
After two waves of attacks from the savage beasts controlled by the barbarian race, the number of enemies at the foot of the mountain didn’t decrease at all. Instead, more and more savage beasts controlled by the barbarian race came and occupied the foot of the mountain.
Harper’s face darkened.
He was still trying to boost morale.
“There’s still a chance. Don’t be scared by the barbarians. We can use the outpost to defend the city…”
The Empire’s soldiers had grave expressions on their faces, and they were prepared to fight to the death.
The barbarian race and the humans had been fighting each other for many years. The two sides had already formed a deadly enmity. Once the sentry outpost was broken, no one would be able to escape.
“Captain, there seems to be a situation outside.”
Harper took a telescope from one of his men and looked down the mountain. His expression changed immediately, and he was filled with surprise.
What was going on? The barbarians at the back were in chaos?
Could it be the Empire’s reinforcements?
That’s not right!
Harper was well aware that the Empire’s defensive force had been deployed to the northern region in recent years, so it was impossible for reinforcements to arrive so soon.
“Captain, some of the beasts at the foot of the mountain are already in chaos. Should we go up and help?”
Harper narrowed his eyes.
He didn’t think that the barbarians would play any tricks to lure them into going out and then ambush them.
“Brothers, our chance is here! Follow me! Let’s kill our way out together!”
“Yes!”
At the foot of the mountain, under the lead of the fusion Tyrant forms, a large number of Lickers swarmed into the group of savage beasts.
It was a one-sided massacre!
The barbarian team was made up of a large number of savage beasts and a small number of barbarians.
The strength of the savage beasts varied. If they were to be compared, they would be roughly equivalent to the strength of the elementary to high-tier vampires in the Vampire Apocalypse.
The group of Lickers relied on their high attributes and the effect of their undying body skill to directly explode!
Han Lu, the captain of the barbarian team, was greatly surprised.
When he first saw this group of undead creatures, he didn’t think much of them. He directly controlled the savage beasts to rush forward and face them head-on!
Initially, the savage beasts were able to hold on and resist, but as they fought, Han Lu found that the number of savage beasts had decreased significantly, while the number of undead creatures had not decreased at all.
Han Lu waved the fanatical battleaxe in his hand and ruthlessly hacked forward!
He had clearly cut the Licker in half, but the Licker had quickly regrown after that!
This was the first time Han Lu had ever encountered such a strange undead!
“Kill them!”
Seeing that the number of beasts in the surrounding area was gradually being devoured, Han Lu’s ferocity was triggered. He led the barbarians behind him and rushed forward to attack the fusion Tyrant form.
In Han Lu’s eyes, the fusion Tyrant form was the leader of this group of ghouls.
As long as he could get rid of the fusion Tyrant form, he would be able to completely destroy this group of zombies!
BOOM!!
The fusion Tyrant form raised its fist and smashed it toward Han Lu.
“Thump!!!”
Its fist struck the battleaxe that Han Lu had set up, producing a dull sound of impact.
Han Lu was forced to retreat, his eyes filled with shock.
This monster’s strength was actually this great?
“Roar!!!!”
Han Lu let out a roar, his eyes bloodshot and his skin instantly covered in a layer of black stratum corneum.
Fine black, rhombus-shaped spikes seeped out of the black cuticles on the surface of his body.
“He’s here!”
Fang Heng, who was hiding in the dark, had his eyes lit up.
Last time, the Tier 2 barbarian had escaped. This time, he had to find a way to capture him alive!
“Chi Chi Chi!!”
Han Lu raised his hand forward, and fine spikes instantly shot out from his body, directly blasting the body of the Tyrant form!
The black rhombus-shaped spikes exploded with a powerful impact that caused the fusion Tyrant form to take half a step back.
“Bang! Bang Bang!!”
Following that, the spikes that pierced into the fusion Tyrant form began to explode, continuously forcing the fusion Tyrant form into a stunned state.
“F*ck, this guy is so hard to deal with.”
Mo Jiawei could not help but wipe the sweat off his forehead.
The monsters in intermediate games were indeed difficult to deal with.
A barbarian in his Tier 2 state could actually remain undefeated under the siege of more than ten fusion Tyrant forms.
He even had the upper hand!
If Wei Tao’s team encountered the Tier 2 barbarians, they would probably suffer a huge loss.
The shock in Han Lu’s heart was far more intense than Mo Jiawei’s.
What monster?
The blackthorn, which had always been successful, was actually ineffective against these monsters!
