Season 4: Chapter 219. Chikicha (2)
ForeverAlone was a streamer with a small but devoted cult following. He had reached Challenger rank at a remarkably young age and drew a lot of attention early on. However, due to his personality, he never pursued a career as a professional gamer. His stream steadily grew on its own, so he didn’t feel much regret.
He had just one concern. His stream’s entry barrier was getting higher and higher.
— Ugh...
— Shit.
— This guy’s the real deal, damn.
— Wow...
— Chikicha? What even is that? Why does he do it?
More and more people felt overwhelmed with everything he said and did. Those with weak mental resistance couldn’t last and eventually left. ForeverAlone clenched his teeth and pretended he didn’t care.
“Ah, whatever. If you’re gonna leave, then leave! Huh? Chi... kicha!”
Back then, his strange chikicha chant drew the most criticism. He’d shout it out of nowhere with no setup or logic. That randomness was the whole point.
— Viewer purge LOL
— Gi-Chan acts calm but is crying inside...
— This is the real flavor of Gi-Chan though... fake fans outta here
— Chikicha!
Those who liked him really liked him, and those who hated him hated him even more. ForeverAlone’s stream evolved into a hipster space where only those “in the know” remained. Then, something happened that put him squarely in the spotlight.
[Treevy LIL Tournament]
He was selected to participate in a massive annual event held on Treevy every year. Not every streamer could join. A streamer needed the right connections or absurd luck. ForeverAlone, who had exactly zero connections, somehow got in through sheer chance.
“Jung Gi-Chan. I’ll prove myself here.”
He thought this was his opportunity, but never imagined that someone would take his chikicha there.
“Chikicha.”
BOOM!
A pure white projectile fired from Almond’s Ran incinerated ForeverAlone.
[LazySoldier → MostSolia]
That was the end of his Treevy LIL Tournament run and when chikicha was stolen from him.
***
Shraaaak!
At the moment, the pure white blade severed Zelu’s neck.
‘Back then...’
ForeverAlone recalled all of his viewers raging about his chikicha being stolen.
‘I got completely played.’
To be precise, Almond’s chikicha was a little different. He didn’t shout it randomly, but only said it when something important ended or...
‘When karma was settled.’
[Zelo has been killed.]
Thud.
Zelu’s head hit the ground.
‘We should take back the forbidden technique, Chikicha... Shouldn’t we?’
Zelu’s words flashed through his mind.
“Haa... ha...” ForeverAlone took a deep breath, stretched out his fingers, and pointed at Almond.
Almond looked back, utterly confused.
ForeverAlone assumed the same posture Almond had used when firing as Ran. Back then, he’d said it like this.
ForeverAlone grinned and copied him. “Chikicha.”
— Huh?
— ?
— What?
Unlike ForeverAlone’s chikicha, which people had cursed at relentlessly, everyone loved Almond’s chikicha. That was why he wanted to be like Almond.
[RageWorm has donated a whopping 1,000,000 won!]
[Die.]
BOOM!
To end it in the most spectacular way possible, he wanted to reclaim chikicha in its truest sense.
— ?
— ???
— Holy shit, Jung Gi-Chaaaan!!
— What...
— No way
— Is this really worth going that far? LOL
— This guy is a legend
— Wow
— Jung Gi-Chan! Jung Gi-Chan! Jung Gi-Chan!
— Forbidden chikicha... reclaimed!
***
Thud.
After ForeverAlone and Zelo collapsed almost simultaneously, everyone on the battlefield panicked.
“C-Chief?!”
“Wh-Why ForeverAlone?!”
“Was that... the worm?”
After all, ForeverAlone had used the chakra he received from Zelu to kill Zelu himself at the most crucial moment.
— This is what you donated for?!
— Holy shit
— This is real love, damn LOL
— Wow LOL legend
— He endured all that just for this moment?
— Kill Zelu trying to kill Almond... that was his only goal from the start
— And he cashes out a million won and leaves;
In Survival Craft, death simply meant respawning, which meant the timing of someone’s death mattered the most. Story-wise, someone had to be killed when they couldn’t treat death lightly. ForeverAlone had endured at Zelu’s side for this one moment. It had paid off.
— That’s it, I’m done
— GG
— Unsubbing. ForeverAlone should go do manual labor
— Sigh
The Alliance’s chakra began to drain away. The tide had turned.
Thud.
Onion, who witnessed everything up close, dropped to the ground.
“It’s... It’s over,” he cried out hollowly. “H-How can this be...? Th-That crazy bastard ForeverAlone... I told you we should’ve cut him loose earlier!!”
He clutched Zelu’s severed head and wailed.
— Onion lost another job LOL
— Did he lose a character delete bet or what?
— LOL
— Back to the Knights we go~
— LOL
“Damn it! Daaamn it!!”
Thud.
Suddenly, someone smashed Onion’s head into the ground and stepped on the back of his skull.
“Haa... ha... Junior...”
Potato Servant had been forced off the battlefield earlier. He had returned after eating medicinal herbs and recovering.
“I’m killing you before I go.”
“P-Potato Servant?! I was going to be Onion Worker again...”
BOOM!
The Staff of Loyalty cleanly blew Onion’s head off.
— Finally cut
— Nice
— Traitor bastard down!
— Purge them all LOL
The Alliance’s morale crashed into the dirt.
“I-I surrender!”
“We give up!”
The former Lackeys and Workers surrendered one by one, kneeling and smashing their foreheads into the ground.
“Ohhhh! My looord!”
“Ohhhh! My looord!”
“Ohhhh! My looord!”
Flap!
That day, the flag at the entrance of Cheese Village changed again.
[Knights]
The banner of the old Knights had returned.

With ForeverAlone’s final twist and rebellion, the civil war ended completely. Posts about it flooded Streamer Garden.
[1) For today only, we declare chikicha belongs to ForeverAlone.]

“Chikicha.”
==== ====
— Legendary scene LOL
— This guy is insane
— Lackey ForeverAlone...
— Damn...
The number one post highlighted ForeverAlone’s chikicha, and the number two covered the historical moments of chikicha so far.
[2) The historic moments of chikicha.]

Cutting down the Roman Commander in the World Finals.
(Video)
Survival Craft Civil War victory(?)
==== ====
— That last one hits different LOL
— Why does only one clip look graphically off?
— LMAO true
— World Finals was legendary
— Roman Commander chikicha was peak
— Two out of three are Almond though...
— Looking at it this way, chikicha really is Almond’s
Even the third-ranked post centered on chikicha, quoting something ForeverAlone had once said on stream.
[3) What ForeverAlone once said about chikicha]
==== ====
(Image)
Responding to claims that Almond stole Chikicha:
“Almond’s chikicha feels different, though? I just shout it randomly... but he says it when something important ends... hmm... do I need to do that to become an alpha?”
That day, ForeverAlone received hundreds of messages saying, “Alphas are about looks,” LOL
==== ====
— LOL he’s still a kid
— That last line LOL
— Him worrying about becoming an alpha is so Gi-Chan-coded LOL
— Your chikicha got stolen and you’re worried about becoming an alpha? That’s peak him LOL
— He also said he was grateful his chikicha became well-known!
— I saw that too
— So that’s why today’s legendary shoutout happened... insane, Jung Gi-Chan
— For today, you’re an alpha! National Alpha Association approves!
— Does that even exist?! LOL
Up through fourth place, every post talked about chikicha. It left that strong of an impact.
[9) Breaking! ForeverAlone is back! LOL]
The post announcing that the dead ForeverAlone had respawned in the village rose to the issue board.
***
ForeverAlone had died after a one-million-won donation. Then, he respawned in his bed inside his house in Cheese Village.
He stared blankly at the ceiling for a while and slowly pushed himself up.
‘So... what now?’
The worm was gone. By all accounts, the war had ended after he died.
Ding.
[Question has donated 1000 won.]
[Are you ForeverAlone’s son, ForeverAlone2 by any chance?]
— LOL
— You can’t just put a 2
— Always alone
— He’s ForeverAlone, how would he even have a son/ LOL
— Asexual mitosis reproduction happening??
Lackey ForeverAlone froze when he saw the donation. Zelo had Choco Shroom beside him, so Zelu had at least made sense. ForeverAlone had no one like that going for him.
“Uh... so I’m... um...”
“You miraculously survived the worm attack, ForeverAlone?”
ForeverAlone jolted upright. Someone was in his house. He turned and saw a familiar face.
[BlackPepper]
“Heeheehee. Da~rk Knight Black Pepper, at your service.”
“I, I know who you are, but why are you here?”
— Holy crap, jumpscare LOL
— Why is she just chilling there?
— What the hell? LOL
— I actually jumped
“Well... I’m tired of fighting now.”
What did that have to do with being in his house?
“I plan to wander this world freely and spend the rest of my days that way. But...”
Thud.
Black Pepper tossed something onto the floor. The Hellsteel armor came from Zelu, and the Frostbound Sword had been granted by the Knights.
“You should continue your journey, ForeverAlone.”
“Black Pepper...”
Leaving only those words behind, Black Pepper spread her black wings.
“Uhohohohohoho~!” With that strange laugh echoing behind her, she flew off into the distance.
— LMAOOOO what was that?
— The truest Dark Knight exit
— Didn’t she just bail out of fear?
— LOL retiring after losing, classic
— At least she left some loot
Rustle.
ForeverAlone gathered up the items Black Pepper had left behind.
“But there was Fertile Soil too. It’s gone.”
— ?
— ??
— No way LOL
— LMAO
— Can’t resist Fertile Soil~
— That’s the fee
— Even as a wanderer, you gotta eat LOL
— What the hell? LOL even now
***
Lackey ForeverAlone returned to the village. The Cheese villager welcomed him with thunderous cheers.
“Waaaaaaaahhh!!”
“Lackey ForeverAlone! You’re the hero of Cheese Village!”
The words Zelu had wanted to hear most, Lackey ForeverAlone was now hearing them.
‘Hero of Cheese Village...’
— Damn...
— Lackey ForeverAlone... you made it
— Gi-Chan, you really climbed the ranks
— Views got wrecked but he became a hero
When was the last time he’d ever been cheered on like this? He couldn’t remember. Had it ever happened at all?
‘Damn... this is insane.’
Lackey ForeverAlone wiped at the tears leaking from his eyes. “Everyone... thank you. I, I don’t mind being ForeverAlone...” He raised his hand high toward the villagers. “Because now, I’m a hero!”
“WAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!”
The villagers roared back in response.
— Yes
— SO SAD
— This is it
— Damn it, Jung Gi-Chan! I like you!
Rumble!
The village blacksmith dragged out a massive statue of Almond and ForeverAlone. It depicted a collapsed ForeverAlone, blood spilling from his mouth, facing Almond as the two locked eyes. The statue’s title was engraved clearly.
[The Last Loyal Retainer]
— Damn
— Nice
— Chills
— Holy crap LOL
— Who even made this?
What shocked ForeverAlone even more was who had made it.
LackLackey flashed a grin and gave him a thumbs-up. “So? ForeverAlone, I put some real effort into it.”
“Thanks, but... are you okay?”
“Huh? About what?”
“What do you mean? You, you were a complete psycho.”
“Oh, you mean the me who got controlled after swallowing the worm? I don’t remember any of that. If you want removal surgery, go see the village’s master physician, Doctor Potato Servant.”
“Removal surgery? Th-That’s a thing?”
“They call it Servant-Flash in common terms. Maybe it’s short for refresh? Anyway, Onion is still in surgery.”
— HOLY SHIT LMAOOOO
— That’s just mental reprogramming
— LOL
— Servant Doctor
— This is insane
“I... I see. Well, I’m just glad you’re back.” Lackey ForeverAlone smiled and looked once more at the statue.
‘I’m standing next to Almond.’
He felt satisfied. The weather was clear and bright. People showered flowers to celebrate his return. The cold winter had passed, and spring was coming again. If the Cheese Village content ended like this... That would be perfect.
“GRAAAAAAAAARRRRRRR!!”
Then, it happened. An ominous roar echoed once more across the entire server.
