After giving the Dark Rose his command, Jacob didn’t keep Dark Rose any further, and the latter also didn’t stick around and vanished.
At that moment, Jacob communicated through his thoughts and asked impassively, "Black Mechanic, what are the chances of you taking over Dark Rose?"
"As long as we can find the Machina Unit of the Dark Kingdom, I can turn Dark Rose into my Machina Unit as long as the Spirit Mechanic isn’t violet rank! However, I’m 90% sure that Dark Rose isn’t even a blue rank, so I’m confident in taking over!" The black mechanic replied stoically without hesitation.
Jacob was pleased with this answer as he nodded, "Well, our destination happened to be the Dark Regal Galaxy. According to your database, that’s where the Dark Kingdom’s core secrets lie. Unlike the other powers, the Dark Kingdom mostly keeps its reserve powers and trump cards in Dark Regal Galaxy.
"They didn’t seem to be afraid of someone destroying the cosmic gateway or losing its ownership to others. So, the Machina Unit might also be there. If you discovered its presence, we might as well take it. With it, all the secrets and top-class knowledge the Dark Kingdom has gathered will be ours, not to mention a Machina Unit."
"It will surely go as sir planned!" Black Mechanic acknowledged without any doubt.
Jacob casually added this challenging and dangerous task to his list as if he were going to buy some trifle property on the street, and Black Mechanic accepted it just as easily. If others heard them, they would think both of them were suicidal lunatics.
"Oh, and analyze this Dark Soul Ring, see if something interesting is in it," Jacob ordered before he stopped communicating with Black Mechanic.
At this moment, Jacob’s focus shifted to his skeletal palm; there was a pale blue imprint of an eye encircled in a cube.
A pale light flashed in his eyes, and the imprint on his palm seemed to come alive, and the next moment, an ethereal black cube etched with a glowing pale blue eye on all sides appeared!
Moreover, the moment this ethereal cube appeared, all the undead present in the hall shivered as if they had an instinctive fear of it!
’Necrotic Eye...the Deathless Prince’s Advanced Legendary King Rank treasure. He stumbled upon it in an elemental galaxy filled with death mist when he was searching for a legendary vestige.
’Not only did he get a suitable vestige, but he also got this powerful necromancer treasure, and this was the main reason he became so powerful and rose above all. But now, it’s mine!’ Jacob clenched his palm, and the necrotic eye turned into an imprint again.
This was another ability of the Gluttony Mask, as it only devoured its target, not their belongings. Once Jacob turned into that disguise, all their belongings would be his without exception; not to mention, even the soul totem sigils on them would be replaced by his real body.
Right now, Deathless Prince’s entire body was covered in treasures, including his robes, which were Basic Legendary King Rank defensive treasure suitable for death law practitioners. Not to mention the strongest treasure in the possession of the Deathless Prince, the Necrotic Eye!
Moreover, there was also a space bracelet, which was also a Legendary King Rank space treasure. After he built the Mechanized Sovereign Tower, he was running low on materials, so getting the Legendary King’s entire wealth was quite welcoming.
However, even this was just an appetizer because there was still the entire treasury of the Castle of Noxvalis!
As for acquiring Dark Law Essence from the Noxvalis City or the Deathless Prince’s collection, there wasn’t any, for Jacob had already seen those memories.
According to the Deathless Prince’s memories, the Dark Law Essence was under the control of one person as their private property, and no one could obtain any of it, regardless of the price offered.
After arranging Deathless Prince’s treasures and sorting out any extra memorabilia, Jacob finally put his focus on something else, which was equally important.
"Nyx, I want you to start searching for Autarch!" Jacob ordered.
Although the ritual connected him and Autarch, they still need to be in close vicinity to contact each other.
Furthermore, Jacob can actually sense Autarch’s general direction if he puts his mind to it, but he needs to reveal his actual body; exposing just a part of it won’t work.
Moreover, using a wish was also an option. Still, Jacob wanted to avoid it, as he had already told Autarch a method to contact him once Autarch had finished its evolution. Not to mention that at that time, he had another plan for the Myriad Galaxy; otherwise, he wouldn’t have buried Autarch in the Myriad Galaxy Castle.
However, after so much time had passed, everything changed, and now that method too required him to be constantly in his actual body, which was extremely dangerous for him.
So, he wanted to see if he could find Autarch before ending his trip to the Dark Regal Galaxy. If he couldn’t, he would use a wish to find Autarch. After all, Autarch was just like Nyx, too essential to discard or leave behind.
"Tsk, you’re paying that insect too much attention. With his abilities, I don’t think he’ll die so easily. He’s probably playing with his puppets right now." Nyx’s annoyed voice rang, clearly unhappy about Jacob’s attention on Autarch ever since he had found out about it.
Jacob retorted coldly, "I don’t ask for your input. Just start searching for Autarch. If he’s following orders, then I’m sure he’s constantly searching for me, and that makes it dangerous because it can expose his whereabouts, or he might fall into someone’s hands who is also searching for me!"
"What? This is totally illogical. How could someone else find him while he’s searching for you? Just how is he searching for you anyway?" Nyx couldn’t help but ask in curiosity.
Jacob didn’t have a plan to hide this matter, as only Nyx could search for Autarch at this moment, and he needed to focus on the matter at hand.
"I made two contingencies when I left Autarch there, and at that time, there wasn’t any danger to my life. The first contingency was simple; I instructed Autarch to search for the Virtual Star World using my Star ID.
"However, so much had happened, and I found Black Mechanic and the truth behind those networks, so I don’t want to use my ID unless SAAI, Undying Will, or the people behind them are already in possession of my Star ID and waiting for me to expose myself, not to mention that hunter.
"So, I need you to find anyone who is searching for Faceless Ancient within the Virtual Star World. Although I’m sure Autarch won’t expose his intentions like that, for I specifically ordered Autarch to send me a private message.
"Still, Autarch might overreact, so keep an eye out. I’ll deal with it once I’m done here personally if you couldn’t find Autarch’s traces." Jacob explained impassively.
"Oh, so that’s how it is. You are afraid that if someone else is also searching for the Faceless Ancient, that insect might fall into a trap. Heh, with his intelligence, I can imagine it happening." Nyx gloated before she asked intently, "What about the second contingency?"
Jacob’s voice turned stern and icy, "None of your business!"
