Wen Xishu quickly made a choice.
He opened the wooden door, and outside were three burly upright walking pig-headed men.
"Are you saying you want to come with me? Oink oink oink?"
Wen Xishu nodded.
"Great, great, I told you, there’d be a fool who’d fall for my house. Let’s go, let’s go! Oink oink oink."
This made Wen Xishu realize something was off.
In a normal fairy tale, the third pig’s house is the strongest and might not be destroyed by the unknown...
But this fairy tale isn’t normal.
Could it be that he made the wrong choice?
And with those words from Pig the Third, Martina and Damo, who had planned to follow Wen Xishu’s choice, hesitated.
Only Sean from the prison and Reid from Lion City, who had already made the same choice as Wen Xishu, showed a look of surprise.
"What about you guys, hurry up, or I’m leaving, oink," said Pig the First.
"Only one spot in my house, oink oink," said Pig the Second.
Hearing this, Martina eventually parted ways with Wen Xishu and chose Pig the Second’s house.
"My house is not accepting people anymore, oink oink," Pig the Second said directly, leaving with Martina.
Pig the Third was the same:
"Oink oink oink, annoying, why are there three, hurry up, that thing is coming. Follow along."
Helpless, Damo from the underground bunker could only choose Pig the First.
Once everyone made their choice.
Pig the First and Pig the Second revealed a smile of successful conspiracy:
"Third Brother, thank you, but it’s a pity there are too many people on your side.."
These words made Damo and Martina’s hearts sink. What did that mean? Thank you for what? Why thank?
"I knew it, you said it on purpose, they would definitely think your house has problems, oink oink."
The three pigs could actually play mind games?
A third of the people dying at the beginning?
Wen Xishu figured it out; when Pig the Third saw he had made progress, he immediately said something to interfere with the others’ judgment, giving Pig the First and Pig the Second a gain too.
"Why, though?"
Wen Xishu was puzzled. If Pig the Third was an NPC from Pen Town wanting to kill players, then why not let players follow the fairy tale of the three little pigs and all choose him?
It now seems that Pig the Third’s house has no problems.
So why did Pig the Third want others to go to Pig the First’s and Pig the Second’s houses?
Wen Xishu had the answer in his heart.
"Unity, Pig the Third doesn’t want players to unite. They must separate the players..."
"This is a horror-themed park, more like a horror world mash-up..."
"And the most common horror movie trope is splitting up the protagonist’s team."
Once Wen Xishu realized this, he immediately shared the insight with Reid and Sean.
At this moment, the three of them were running down a completely pitch-black road with Pig the Third. Dense black mist, like an abyss that could swallow everything.
Reid and Sean, after hearing this, both strongly agreed.
"Then we should cooperate well. You’re from Wind City, you have something on you that makes me feel close, and as long as you have that, I will help you," Reid said.
Lion Heart Brand?
Wen Xishu didn’t expect people under Leo to be this united?
Sean said:
"I’m just dead weight... I can’t help you, but I will surely listen."
The three ran for about two to three minutes, expecting to see a house, and then enter it...
But then, the scene suddenly changed.
[You have gained 5 points, you seem to have understood the conspiracy of the three little pigs, who originally scattered and built houses because they weren’t united. But you’re lucky, you have two teammates who didn’t abandon you.]
[Now, you’ve reached the third pig’s house.]
The appearance of the voice actually changed the surrounding scene, and at this moment, Wen Xishu felt the surrounding coldness had disappeared.
The three of them looked around and discovered it was a house made of bricks, but it had a major flaw...
No door.
Yes, everything about the house was fine; it had a fireplace, chandeliers, candlelight, a dining table, and a bed.
But the house lacked a door.
"Why doesn’t your house have a door?" Sean said desperately.
At this moment, Pig the Third was sitting on the sofa:
"I didn’t have enough strength to make a door. Oink oink oink."
Sean angrily replied:
"These interior decorations don’t need to be that good! If your house doesn’t have a door... won’t the monster come in!"
Pig the Third laughed:
"But I’m a local, the monsters won’t kill me, oink oink oink. My second brother’s and my big brother’s houses do have doors, too bad you didn’t choose them."
"It’s coming soon, which evil spirit is it going to be tonight? Or maybe, the ’unknown’? Oink oink oink."
Reid very much wanted to turn this pig into roast pork with a fire; he even raised his hand, ready to release flames, but at that moment, Wen Xishu stopped him.
"Think about that dead guy, don’t do something foolish, and the rules mentioned that the monsters here cannot be killed..."
"Maybe we can defeat them, but they’ll reappear soon."
"Let’s first find a way to trigger the voice in our minds."
Wen Xishu’s calmness greatly impressed Reid. Reid sensed that Wen Xishu had the same brand as he did.
This could only be a brand owned by someone deemed valuable by the leader.
He now seemed to understand that this person possessed not only courage but also extraordinary rationality.
