It seems there is a change.
Above the Heart of Fusion, a numeric hint appeared—3/5.
This was a number Wen Xishu couldn’t understand in a short time.
"Strange, what does this number represent? Why is it 3/5?"
The Heart of Fusion has currently fused the fate of Sagittarius, so logically, even if there’s some sort of hint, shouldn’t it be 1/n?
What’s going on with 3/5?
He truly couldn’t understand this number. But indeed, he began to be cautious about the Heart of Fusion.
"Looks like I have to fuse with someone else... only then might I solve the riddle inside."
He no longer said more and walked through the door.
...
...
[You have arrived. Now, be prepared to answer the questions of this round.]
The familiar voice and the warm feeling surged again.
This time, Wen Xishu took the initiative to ask:
"Are you the god belonging to the Three Towers, or are you with the power of the Outer God? Or perhaps, are you both?"
[You have disrupted the tacit understanding between us. But based on your urgent desire to know at this stage, I will answer you.]
[Once you successfully complete the challenge of the Deceit Tower, everything you encounter henceforth will not involve the Outer God. The Outer God’s interference with the Three Towers will only affect your experience in the Three Towers. But once your adventure ends, all the information you receive comes from the real gods.]
Wen Xishu wanted to ask further, but the voice of inquiry spoke:
[Answer this question: which version of ’me’ do you most desire to become?]
Suppressing his urge to question further, Wen Xishu said:
"The current me."
[Assuming, now you are sure there is no threat of apocalypse, would you choose the safest universe if you were to select one?]
"I would not. In my world, such assumptions no longer exist. If I develop such thoughts in the future, I would only think that I have become weak."
Wen Xishu answered very decisively.
[Very well, next question: if all the universes are real, would you accept rescue requests from other universes?]
"Yes."
[And the reason?]
"I can kill the false self for my world, but I’m willing to help myself in another world, thinking that maybe this counts as a kind of self-rescue."
"Alright, it’s my turn. How many more of these challenges are there? I can clearly feel that these are different from past challenges, like they are specially targeting the tower climbers."
[I cannot tell you, but there indeed are more.]
Knowing there indeed are more, that’s enough.
[Next question, if you face the same predicament as 001, if you are the false one, would you make the same choice as 001?]
"Isn’t 001 just me? Although it’s simulated by the Deceit Tower, considering the Deceit Tower can accommodate the Obsession World, the simulation is virtually error-free."
"The decision he makes would be the one I can make."
"But all these assumptions are invalid."
[You have become much firmer and more honest. The final question, if the flowers you constructed must wither as sacrifices one day, would you sacrifice them?]
This question, Wen Xishu did not understand.
"What do you mean by the flowers I constructed?"
[It seems you do not truly understand the reason for your victory. We will leave this question for next time. You should return to the Bunker.]
[Confirm your rewards now.]
Wen Xishu was eager to confirm his gains this time.
[Slaughter Tower Level: 35. Slaughter Value cap: 670.]
[Deceit Tower Level: 60. Anti-Magic Value: 156 points.]
[Desire Tower Level: 56. Luck Value: 140 points.]
The sequence slots became 10, and the inventory slots became 14.
It’s safe to say that apart from the Desire Tower Level, everything has improved comprehensively. Especially the Slaughter Tower Level, which has increased in value even more dramatically than the Deceit Tower.
Although these values do not compare to Sequence Items or Mystical Runes, as they accumulate, they make many things easier.
Wen Xishu knew his reward couldn’t be just this.
Indeed, with the Quality Upgrade and Wing-to-Wing Flight as the enhancement rewards, he quickly saw the most critical option.
His sequence, Realm of Only Me, evolved.
This sequence, which Wen Xishu had customized with Mystical Runes, had not yet been used in its Profound Meaning form.
Now, however, the sequence’s normal form had evolved further.
This sequence had previously been improved, eliminating its side effects, so it was no longer loathed by strangers.
Originally, the sequence described itself as—when activated, it greatly reduces the power of all allies. But in return, it grants a large increase in attributes and temporary acquisition of allies’ abilities.
If there are no allies around, the attributes gained will shift from "large" to "massive."
This is a transformation sequence, which allows Wen Xishu to significantly increase his combat power.
But now, this sequence has undergone a secondary transformation, so that its name, like the Ultimate Kick, has changed—
Slaughter Sequence 57 · Realm of Only Me (Realm of Hundred Selves Modified):
Based on the original attributes, every activation of the sequence will randomly gain assistance from the traits of "me" in the Realm of Hundred Selves. (Any ’me’ trait will be enhanced in this assistance to match the true world’s intensity.)
Wen Xishu still doesn’t quite understand his other self from other universes.
Some Otherworldly Me, in his view, have overly flashy abilities that are meaningless.
For example, the magician "me," performing a trick is useless in combat. Or the "me" who seems to have studied at Hogwarts, even if they learned a deadly curse... in his world, it seems to have little significance.
