There is no doubt that 001 and 046 are considered "the strongest" by all the Wen Xishu and should be the first to be banned.
Almost every Wen Xishu has formed a tacit understanding: in this round, even if they qualify for attack and defense, they should not attack the 046 Wen Xishu. Of course, even if they wanted to attack, they still couldn’t.
Wait for the next round to launch a stormy attack on the 046 Wen Xishu.
Wen Xishu wasn’t particularly panicked.
Although he secretly disdained the luck of 001, he always felt that this board design was quite interesting.
Is the disadvantage at the start really a disadvantage?
The next turn, what number he rolls, what gains 001 gets, is still uncertain.
Besides, the board is so huge, even if you roll a 6 every time, it will take a lot of effort to reach the throne. With such a long game process, the elimination pace shouldn’t be set too fast.
What’s more, in this board, although everyone had a health bar with one hundred points for elimination...
But don’t forget, this round of the game has no restrictions on abilities and items.
Wen Xishu glanced back at 001, who remained as steady as an old dog, completely unfazed.
I must say, this version of myself, 001, has an air of Leo.
Soon, the first round of dice rolls for all twenty-two teams was completed.
Some teams gained powerful buffs, such as magic attack items: the Sheepblade, which can turn the target’s defensive units into a sheep.
Another example is the mental attack item: Sad Reversal, which can induce a massive sadness in the target, causing them to abandon defense or even self-harm.
Still, others received powerful defensive items.
Of course, there are also the Wen Xishu who walked the Evil Road and were exceptionally unlucky. One Wen Xishu from Universe 049, a universe from the cold weapon era, walked the Evil Road but was responsible for the attack...
The buff obtained was - your attack is confused; your attack might harm yourself or heal your opponent.
Although it triggers by chance, once it does, it must feel as awful as eating dirt.
Wen Xishu found this quite amusing.
However, the second round began quickly, the most dangerous round about to be bombarded soon arrived.
This time, 001 Wen Xishu rolled another small number, three.
The Lucky and Evil pair both moved forward three spaces.
This round, the 001 Wen Xishu on the Lucky Road received a special item - "Memory Reinforcement."
[Memory Reinforcement: You can unleash a Memory Reinforcement on any unit on the field. It randomly draws a character from your memory matching or slightly lower than your combat strength within your universe. This character exists for one turn.]
Wen Xishu was amazed, did his luck just improve?
Without a doubt, all the Wen Xishu were afraid. After all, having a strong person from the 001 universe, either matching 001 or just half a tier lower... it’s probably not hard for them to eliminate enemies.
This is nuclear deterrence.
But the problem now is, 001 must immediately designate a target.
This is the sequence disadvantage because the 001 and 046 duo, being the first combination and first to roll the dice, cannot set their strategy based on their opponents’ strategies.
The great disadvantage of being the first to act is being targeted.
If 001 unleashes the Memory Reinforcement, regardless of who it is aimed at, it only lasts one turn...
That turn, an unlucky fellow will die.
But correspondingly, the Bunker Wen Xishu himself would die too. After all, the other Wen Xishu can attack without fear.
And at this moment, the Wen Xishu on the Evil Road drew a skull symbol.
[Memory Foe: In addition to potentially being attacked by other pieces this turn, you will also face an extra attack from an enemy in your memory that matches or is slightly weaker than your strength, from your universe.]
The space Wen Xishu occupies immediately expanded into an arena, and at the other end of the arena, in a red mist, a sound of a suona echoed.
The Ghost Bride arrived on the board.
Wen Xishu’s smile froze instantly.
What is this limited edition monster making a return? This Evil Road is seriously too tough, damn it?
[Due to last turn’s rules, this turn you lose your defensive ability, unable to use any defensive measures.]
Now, without needing action from the other Wen Xishu, he was about to be taken out by the Ghost Bride.
Wen Xishu felt a jolt, but soon, he realized something was amiss. The other Wen Xishu also set aside their spectator mindset.
"Is that possible?"
Suddenly, a sapphire blue light appeared in the sky.
A huge chaotic rift appeared.
When the terrifying arrow targeted the Ghost Bride, the suona stopped abruptly.
Sagittarius descended onto the battlefield.
Wen Xishu said:
"What’s there to fear? The game rules say I can use Memory Reinforcement on any piece, doesn’t that include you?"
Wen Xishu laughed, it had to be my Sagittarius. However, this Sagittarius seemed a bit haggard. Its eyes appeared lifeless, radiating a "deadliness."
Of course, whatever the case, this turn, he didn’t have to worry about being attacked by "myself" because Sagittarius the reinforcement would help fend off other attacks.
Seeing this setup, the other Wen Xishu knew... they couldn’t target 046 this turn. No one dared to gamble whether Sagittarius would shoot an arrow, as this arrow might pierce the board.
At the same time, Wen Xishu was internally shocked.
Just how strong is 001?
To stand on the same tier as Sagittarius, or perhaps Sagittarius is half a tier below?
No wonder it is me...
Wen Xishu looked at 001 and found in 001’s eyes a hint of reminiscence as he gazed at Sagittarius.
The game continued, with the help of powerful reinforcements; Wen Xishu painstakingly made it to the third round.
Wen Xishu grew increasingly curious about what other interesting experiences the board could trigger.
