Wen Xishu knew that he had experienced moments like these, facing strong adversaries but still full of courage.
Of course, more often it was because he knew they couldn’t do anything to him.
is strong, but not stronger than the rules.
Even if one reaches the level to compete with constellations, they must behave in Deceit Tower.
At this moment, the task requires the duo to team up, naturally indicating that teammates are useful.
"Speaking eloquently or having the right expression is useless. If you were me, you would know that both of us are skilled at bluffing."
"I’ll observe you well in the future."
Wen Xishu couldn’t help but find it strange, what is there to observe about him?
Actually, as Wen Xishu sees it, the recent teaming up indicates one thing—
and himself, are the strongest.
is ranked first, and he is second. Everyone else is unwilling to team up with either 001 or himself.
This means, in everyone’s view, the world of 001 and his own world are extremely dangerous during the game.
They’re afraid that 001 and he are too strong, leading to the tragic outcome of the previous round.
In other words—
Defeating 001 means winning the final match.
Although Wen Xishu did not underestimate the other selves...
But with everyone’s IQ being equal, his own self shrouded in mystery is obviously supposed to be stronger.
However, this does not mean that being ranked second makes him impressive, because the first place is overwhelmingly strong. It’s the kind of strength where the total of ranks from second to hundred doesn’t match the first.
To defeat 001, perhaps one must wait for the right timing.
Moreover, with everyone’s IQ being equal, the stronger one’s battle power, the higher the victory rate...
Then, compared to 001, 001 has no reason to lose to him.
In this round, teaming up with 001 might just be the way to find a method to defeat 001.
Wen Xishu and 001 Wen Xishu both have many thoughts.
However, neither’s emotions would be shown externally.
Soon, the third round of the game officially began.
The duo returned to the lounge again and, after a short wait, the lounge door opened.
More than twenty pairs of Wen Xishu walked out the door one after another...
After walking out, what appeared in the eyes of Wen Xishu was no longer a communal square but a massive chessboard.
All the Wen Xishu were distributed in the twenty-four corners of the chessboard; two corners were vacant, as there were only twenty-two teams.
This is a twenty-four-sided chessboard, where Wen Xishu’s duo each represent a piece, meaning each team has two pieces.
The game rules are similar to Monopoly or flying chess, where you roll dice and move according to the dice points, different points represent different actions, and various events occur on many parts of the chessboard.
The team that survives various events and ultimately reaches the center of the chessboard, sitting on the central throne, will achieve the final victory.
This appearance of the game rules made all Wen Xishu feel a sense of urgency.
"This is the second-to-last game... This game will directly eliminate until only two remain."
Each Wen Xishu naturally arrived at this conclusion.
It’s simple, because the throne seats only two.
In conclusion, the final showdown is still with oneself and their roomie. Yet, in this round, he and his roomie have to team up.
The game has never changed the cruel undertone.
Wen Xishu still felt some pressure in his heart.
From now on, he had no more confusion; defeating all the "false selves" to become the only true self, this was his task.
With 001 present, it seems the various events on this chessboard wouldn’t be difficult to handle...
But the key lies in the final showdown between him and 001.
All the Wen Xishu were whispering and discussing strategies.
This time’s game situation is quite complicated, involving 22 teams. Meaning there are 22 forces on the chessboard.
But it’s also quite simple.
Almost all Wen Xishu understood one principle—get united and defeat 001 and 046.
At this moment, Wen Xishu felt many glances directed at him.
Wen Xishu said:
"Scared? Looks like we’ve been marked."
"With you here, why would I be afraid?" Wen Xishu said calmly.
His heart was not calm.
He was pondering, why did the game require two people... why not have 44 individuals, each in a team?
Sure enough, soon a new rule addition came.
[Next, you have three minutes to decide on four attributes, Attack, Defense, Evil, Lucky.]
[As pieces, you will be categorized as attack pieces and defense pieces, with defense pieces responsible for defense, attack pieces responsible for offense. Additionally, everyone will receive a special tool—the Evil and Lucky dice.]
[The dice will separate everyone, one walking the Lucky Road, the other walking the Evil Road. Those who walk the Evil Road will encounter various negative events, while those on the Lucky Road will encounter positive events.]
[Attack, defense, evil, lucky are key to victory, please allocate wisely.]
This time, the many eyes focused on Wen Xishu shifted away.
This new game rule introduced the possibility for internal competition.
The game is divided into attack and defense, suggesting there will be various battles within it, with one side attacking and the other defending.
Most critically, it’s about evil and lucky.
Clearly, no one wants to be assigned as evil, after all, the Evil Road is full of negative events.
At that moment, Wen Xishu, as well as Wen Xishu from other universes, thought...
If in the end, his team won, then those assigned to lucky... would perhaps stand a better chance to reverse the strength disparity and defeat those assigned to evil?
After the chessboard move, the lucky accumulate positive buffs along the way, while the evil accumulate negative buffs along the way.
