Chapter 1131: Chapter 424: Arrangements and Move-in (Part 2)
Their specialties are also varied, some know floral arrangement, some have studied medicine, and others are skilled in massage and stress relief techniques… Huh, this dancer isn’t bad either.
Zhou Wang glanced at the photo, then at the tall, long-legged young lady in her thirties who was quietly observing him.
After a slight hesitation, Zhou Wang decided to stick to his original intention, so he quickly closed the document and said flatly, “Let this Han Rui give it a try.”
In the crowd, Han Rui, who had been slightly lowering his head, looked up in disbelief when he heard Zhou Wang call his name, his surprise tinged with astonishment.
He had mentally prepared himself for yet another boring participation without results, as he had gotten used to being the backdrop to the blooming flowers of his department after being here for so long.
It wasn’t that male private butlers were necessarily unpopular; after all, there were always some lonely rich ladies moving in. But Han Rui’s looks were average, so he could only watch as his other male colleagues got the jobs one after another, while he was always left to cool his heels in the office…
If it weren’t for the decent basic pay and the fact that board and lodging were provided, Han Rui, with his dual degrees, would probably have been unable to bear it and resigned long ago.
But today, the opportunity finally came to him.
“Mr. Zhou, thank you for your trust. Rest assured, I won’t let you down!”
Filled with excitement, Han Rui, prompted by the department manager’s reminder, finally reacted by hastily bowing incoherently to Zhou Wang.
“Work well, I never shortchange my own people.”
Having heard such pledges of loyalty countless times, Zhou Wang felt nothing internally, but out of habit gave a casual word of encouragement. It was the slightly astonished expression of Xu Wenqian beside him that pleased him.
Unexpected, right?
Who says I only like women!
The looks from the four female butlers who weren’t chosen were too complicated to describe.
This was the owner of C-4701!
In the already high-end, renowned Tangchen Yipin, there were only four Tower King models. Of these, two were never for sale right from the start, meaning only two were available for purchase, and one of those had been sold years ago, making Mr. Zhou the only Tower King owner they might ever meet.
Ever since it was rumored a few days ago that the owner of C-47 was coming to take ownership, the competition had quietly begun.
Two of the girls even went to the beauty salon for three consecutive days for this day, spending nearly ten thousand, but now it was all in vain…
Though their hearts were full of bitterness and jealousy, they had no choice but to force smiles and bow to Zhou Wang.
“Welcome Mr. Zhou to your new home, Davis Property will provide you with the most comprehensive service year-round, 24/7…”
Amidst the unanimous welcome from the property staff, Zhou Wang finally shook hands with Smith, exchanged contact details, and was led by Han Rui toward the elevator lobby of Building C.
“Mr. Zhou, please this way, I’ll help you register your fingerprint and facial information first…”
Politely, Han Rui brought Zhou Wang to the elevator while explaining, “Building B and C have two households per floor with four daily elevators, and Mr. Zhou, you’ve purchased the sky mansion on the top floor, which is the largest model in Building C. The entire three floors belong to your household alone. Besides the four daily elevators, we’ve also prepared a dedicated elevator for you…”
“That’s a total of five elevators leading directly to your two entrance halls.”
Five elevators?
Zhou Wang nodded upon hearing this; this was indeed superior to Spring Eye. Though the one he bought at Spring Eye was also a Tower King model and even larger in area than this Tangchen Yipin one, it had only two elevators including the backup. This lacked a bit of prestige.
After completing the information registration and fingerprint recognition, the group reached the top floor of Building C, labeled as 4701, but actually should be 4401 considering the floors.
At the entrance hall, Lin Ran was already waiting, though she hadn’t entered. Although Zhou Wang had allowed them to take ownership first, she and Xu Wenqian were mindful of boundaries and would not enter before Zhou Wang arrived.
Zhou Wang roughly knew their thoughts; in truth, he didn’t mind because this wasn’t his first top-tier mansion. If at the time of acquiring the “Spring Eye” mansion, Zhou Wang had felt excited, and even when moving into Beidou No.1 Building he had some emotions, then now…
He’s already numb.
Xiao Wang stepped forward to help Zhou Wang push open the double-entry doors; through the foyer, they entered the living room with a ceiling height of over six meters. In front of them lay floor-to-ceiling windows spanning two stories, and further outside, the vast river-view terrace faced the front.
“Mr. Zhou, your whole home features 8 bedrooms, 5 living rooms, and 8 bathrooms, with 98 square meters of curtain wall windows, plus a total area of 240 square meters across three terraces…”
As Han Rui continued the introduction, Zhou Wang, accompanied by Xu Wenqian and others, wandered around to have a look.
After a while, Zhou Wang nodded slightly, thinking… it’s not bad.
Yes, that’s his truest feeling.
This once fabled top-notch mansion of Magic City, when truly under Zhou Wang’s feet, didn’t provide too much of a surprise.
The area was decent, lighting was good, the master bedroom on the first floor was spacious enough at 170 square meters. It came with a private collection freezer room, servant’s room, laundry room, storage room, entertainment room, and gym, but nothing that stood out remarkably beyond Spring Eye or Beidou No.1 Courtyard.
If there was something that made this house unique to Zhou Wang, it would likely be the three large terraces dispersed around the first floor…
(After seeing the interiors of many mansions, let’s look at it from an aerial view)
Especially the front terrace facing the rolling Huangpu River. Looking out the window, it felt like standing atop this city’s peak, gazing over the bustling life below with a sense of superiority.
Zhou Wang believed the night view here must be breathtaking.
“Boss, should your clothes be placed in the master bedroom on the first floor?”
While Zhou Wang smoked, lost in thought, Xu Wenqian approached to ask.
Like Spring Eye, Tangchen Yipin also offered full home furnishing. Aside from the white-dominant decor which Zhou Wang disliked a bit, and the vast space which made the place seem a bit empty, everything else was fine and ready for immediate move-in.
Each floor had its own master bedroom, and typically, according to Huaxia living habits, one would choose the second floor’s master bedroom. But, the layout of Tangchen Yipin made the first floor’s master bedroom clearly more comfortable, even connecting to an independent terrace.
Earlier, Zhou Wang jokingly said, “Working out here in the morning would be enjoyable.”
Thus, Xu Wenqian had asked.
“Yes, I’ll stay on the first floor.”
Zhou Wang nodded, “You and Sister Ran can stay on the second floor.”
“Boss, I think the maid’s room is quite nice, should I…”
“What are you thinking!”
Before Xu Wenqian could finish hesitantly, Zhou Wang already tapped her gently on the head. Seeing her look a bit wronged, Zhou Wang couldn’t help but say disdainfully:
“I ask you, if you sleep in the maid’s room, then when I come to you, do I also have to sleep in the maid’s room?”
“Uh…”
Xu Wenqian’s cheeks turned bright red, left speechless. Just as she was about to slip away, Zhou Wang called her back.
“Help Gao Xing pick a room, and as for Xiao Wang, ask him what he wants.”
“Boss, does that mean if he agrees, he’ll stay here afterward?”
Xu Wenqian knew Zhou Wang intended to bring Xiao Wang on board, immediately understanding the implications.
“Now you’re being clever again.”
Zhou Wang chuckled, then remembered something and added, “Also, check with Dr. Zhong. If Sister Xiao Hui staying in the hospital isn’t necessary, arrange for her discharge, and bring her and Linlin over…”
