Chapter 411: I Am the King! You Will Regret It!
“Boring, truly boring. Is this all you deal with every day?” Olivia’s voice was heard.
She wore a long dress, squatting with both feet on the chair, her hands propping up her head.
Yet, even though she was so conspicuous, the person who had just delivered the reports had not noticed her at all, as if she did not exist in the slightest.
“With the Red Dragon Knight Order now having its framework preliminarily established, shouldn’t it already be able to kill all those people?” Olivia said with clear dissatisfaction. “Why were you still so bored that you played this kind of game with them?”
Agamemnon felt somewhat helpless. “You finally got a vacation. Why didn’t you go find Melia to play?”
“She’s even more boring.” Olivia spread her hands. “She’s been talking all day with women who are pregnant about giving birth and raising children.”
Agamemnon said, “Then you could also go find Knight George and Knight Richard. Those two can see you and can duel with you.”
Hearing this, Olivia shook her head repeatedly. “Neither of them fought seriously. One casually fooled around a bit and then pretended to be defeated, while the other simply ran off with a dragon-eagle. That’s an insult to dueling.”
Agamemnon fell silent. Who could duel in a friendly manner by her standards? Every move she made was aimed at killing the opponent outright, and she possessed special protection—she could survive even if cut in half. Although those two were Tier Six, they could not possibly ignore such bodily damage.
Olivia continued, “That Hogg from the Hall of Heroes in the Northland wasn’t bad at least. He dared to strike.”
Agamemnon lowered his head and continued reading the documents, saying, “Then why didn’t you say you wanted to spend this vacation at the Hall of Heroes?”
Olivia sighed. “The Hall of Heroes is no longer what it used to be. Many of the scholars who became Honored Spirits gained special powers because of legends, and they’re conducting experiments inside the Hall of Heroes.”
“I took one look. That Hogg was too pitiful. Those old things made him stand there and serve as a target for them. Their power is far too bizarre—rule-level power like that of gods. With those old things expanding their knowledge, they can play all sorts of tricks with it.”
“At this level of power, Hogg can endure it, but the Knight Wolf in the Hall of Heroes has already been played to death several times by those old things.”
“That kind of chaotic state is hardly a good place for a vacation.”
“Those old things are truly insane. Such a good place to fight freely, yet they turned it into this.”
As Olivia spoke, she was filled with anger.
Agamemnon had only been to the Hall of Heroes once. At that time, he had merely seen the appearances of Nyx and Scholar Caleb.
Even so, Agamemnon could roughly guess that the Hall of Heroes was now basically filled with scholars who had died of natural causes. Their contributions were beyond dispute, enough to change the course of human civilization.
But while that was the case for scholars, warriors and knights had seen none enter the Hall of Heroes in recent years.
A bunch of brutes who only knew how to fight—how could they become people remembered by time?
However, Agamemnon thought of the traitor Hobert. If he had died normally or fallen in battle, then with his achievements of becoming a baron despite being a mercenary, he would certainly have been able to enter the Hall of Heroes.
After all, the way he became a noble could be considered the first crack prying open the nobility that had long been bound tightly by bloodlines.
Unfortunately, Hobert had still been bewitched by an evil god.
No—perhaps Hobert’s will had long since died. What controlled Hobert’s body now was merely that evil god.

Olivia continued, “But you’ve been doing these boring things for years, and there haven’t been any heroes who could enter the Hall of Heroes.”
“So when are you going to start a war? That kind of grand war where countless heroes compete to shine.”
Olivia stood on the chair, spreading her arms, making an extremely dangerous statement.
Agamemnon shook his head. “Forget it. By your standards, every instance of heroes shining would wipe out an entire barony. If it were really as dazzling as you describe, by the time you sat on the throne, your kingdom would already be gone.”
Olivia put her hands on her hips. “I am the king! I order you to start a war immediately!”
Agamemnon said, “You will regret it.”
Olivia said, “I am the king. This is my kingdom. I can do whatever I want, and I will absolutely not regret it!”
Agamemnon said, “The Pope will make you regret it.”
Olivia’s straightened waist immediately drooped, and she looked like someone who had suffered greatly. “Sigh… what’s the point of living like this? Being played with by him every day, with no freedom at all.”
Agamemnon said, “Once you come of age, it will be fine. You can sit on the throne, become king, and do what you want.”
Olivia waved her hand. “Forget it. Even if I become king, you people still won’t let me mess around. I’m not stupid. Whatever you want to do, how could I not see it? It’s just that I feel such things have no meaning for me personally.”
Agamemnon laughed and asked, “Since that’s the case, let me ask you this. Why do you think those scholars in the Hall of Heroes have developed such miraculous powers?”
Olivia rolled her eyes and said, “That’s what you want to know yourself, isn’t it? Why don’t you go ask him directly? As long as you go, he definitely won’t stop you outside the clock tower.”
Agamemnon said calmly, “The Church needs to be separated from the Kingdom, and it must be separated from the Kingdom.”
Olivia said, “Because the future of the Kingdom is destined to be destroyed, right?”
Agamemnon looked at Olivia.
Olivia continued, “I told him I didn’t want to have children, and he said that was something I could decide myself. Even if I don’t fight to the death, I’ll still die of old age.”
“He and all of you won’t allow new gods to appear in this world to destroy order. And if one cannot become a god, then all life is finite and can be killed. There will be no eternal kingdom.”
Agamemnon said, “Time and eras have stagnated for far too long. Time must inevitably move toward the future. When time moves, eras must also change. Otherwise, time itself loses its life.”
Olivia covered her ears and said with dissatisfaction, “Stop, stop, stop. I’m not from the Church, and neither are you now, so don’t say such hard-to-understand things.”
“I only hope that you can die after me. I don’t like watching the people I care about die before me.”
Olivia followed the Pope, and in the Pope’s presence, the future was not something unknowable.
From these words of Olivia, Agamemnon had already read many meanings.
He even felt that Olivia had come to see him during her precious vacation precisely to say these things.
Agamemnon fell silent for a moment, then said, “Who can say for sure what the future holds?”
After saying that, before Olivia could respond, he asked, “Is there still something that requires the Pope to do personally? To the point that he even gave you a vacation.”
Olivia understood what Agamemnon meant, but since he had cut off her response, she could only swallow her dissatisfaction. With an unhappy expression, she said, “He said those people were being used up too quickly, and the things hanging on the trees couldn’t keep up with consumption, so he went to find new things to hang on the trees.”
