"Okay, honorable goddess." Ling Xiao smiled silently and solemnly saluted Tianmiao.
Tianmiao chuckled and looked at the Housekeeper, "Housekeeper, start preparing."
"Ah, yes, the private jet is ready to take off at any time." The Housekeeper nodded.
"That’s not the preparation I’m referring to; I’m asking you to prepare a dinner party for us to have when we return." Tianmiao glanced at the Housekeeper and said lightly.
Housekeeper: "...Oh, understood, honorable goddess."
After the Housekeeper turned to leave, Ling Xiao asked Tianmiao, "Dinner party preparations and the private jet should be ready, right?"
"No need, we’ll go when Darkness appears." Tianmiao said lazily, walking down the stairs slowly, "Go open a bottle of red wine for me, and put on the latest movie."
"Yes." Ling Xiao instinctively agreed immediately, only realizing afterward that he had more important questions to ask the Star God.
"Honorable Goddess, is it possible for us to arrive on time after Darkness appears?" Ling Xiao asked his concern.
"There’s plenty of time. As the finale, of course, you must make your entrance last. Has the water in the pool been replaced? I want to swim after watching the movie, and the juice should be chilled." Tianmiao commanded imperiously.
"Yes." Ling Xiao was full of questions but dared not speak further, for the goddess was already a bit impatient. What exactly is the goddess planning to do? Is the Darkness mentioned by the president the same one that hurt grandfather?
How will he make his last entrance? Is there enough time?
Ling Xiao was deeply troubled but still chose to trust Tianmiao’s decision, seeing her calm expression.
Subsequently, Tianmiao watched a movie, swam, drank juice, and sunbathed.
As the sun set, Tianmiao leisurely stood up and called Ling Xiao over.
"How many times has the president called?" Tianmiao asked casually.
"Three times now, saying they’ve already arrived and asking why we haven’t appeared yet." Ling Xiao replied.
"How did you respond?" Tianmiao inquired further.
Ling Xiao glanced at Tianmiao, hesitating slightly.
"Just say it." Tianmiao picked up a silver fork and ate a piece of watermelon cut into small cubes by the Housekeeper. The watermelon was cut into neat squares, seedless, chilled, sweet and refreshing with every bite.
"I said, I said... I told him it’s none of his damn business." Ling Xiao hesitated but managed to say the latter part.
Tianmiao couldn’t help but chuckle softly, putting down the silver fork, and lazily declared, "You responded very well. Let’s go, get ready; we’re going to stir things up."
Huh? Stir things up?
Ling Xiao blinked.
Isn’t that phrase kind of inappropriate here?
Would the Star God say something like that?
No, wait, the focus isn’t on that.
It’s on what Tianmiao is preparing to do?
Ling Xiao followed behind Tianmiao, who took two steps and then stopped, waving her hand.
Afterward, Ling Xiao felt a momentary darkness, experiencing a sense of weightlessness.
The next moment, Ling Xiao was stunned to find the scenery around him had changed. He heard a loud noise nearby, and looking up, saw a towering, sinister-looking Darkness fighting against several Star Warriors and their Star God. Among them was the president. Is this instantaneous transport? Can a Star God do this? There’s no record of any Star God being able to do this.
"Go on." Ling Xiao heard Tianmiao’s voice, seemingly with a hint of laughter, then felt a strong force push him forward, prompting him to join in the battle.
