Ye Haolong couldn't be woken up no matter how, and Li Banfeng was about to fall asleep.
The Old Teapot reluctantly supported himself: "Brother, how about you leave Pillow City for a moment to clear your mind?"
Indeed, leaving Pillow City could rid one of the drowsiness, but it wouldn't solve the real issue. The next time he visited Pillow City, it would be the same situation, and Li Banfeng still couldn't wake Ye Haolong.
"Or, going home to rest a bit might work..." The Old Teapot fell asleep.
Going back to the Portable Residence wouldn't solve the problem either, yet Li Banfeng genuinely couldn't hold on any longer.
After sitting in the Portable Residence for a while, Li Banfeng became slightly more alert, and the Magical Treasures around him woke up too.
Li Banfeng rubbed his forehead and asked the Phonograph: "Beloved wife, is there a way to wake someone up in Pillow City?"
His wife put down the Mud People in her hands, thought for a moment, and said: "Waking someone who's asleep is really difficult, but making them wake up on their own, there are some ways. One way is through Mental Cultivation Technique, forcing them to have the thought of waking up."
The Wine Gourd said: "Sister, I've tried that, it doesn't work. The people in Pillow City sleep too deeply, they can't even generate thoughts."
The Gourd always acted when others weren't aware, but unfortunately, it didn't succeed this time.
The Clock Pendulum, also a Mental Cultivator, said: "Lady, I've tried that too, it indeed doesn't work."
The Phonograph was somewhat annoyed: "I fed you all with so many good things, each of you plump and healthy, but when it's time to exert effort, none of you are useful.
If Mental Cultivation doesn't work, it has to rely on Dream Cultivation. Meng De, you give it a try!"
Meng De descended from the wall, transformed from a Month Plate into a Pocket Watch, and said to Li Banfeng: "Sir, when you reach the person, I will enter his dream and persuade him to wake up from it."
Li Banfeng took Meng De out of the Portable Residence and approached Ye Haolong.
Meng De yawned: "This place really makes one sleepy..."
Before the words were finished, Meng De already entered the dream, entering Ye Haolong's dream.
Dream Cultivators aren't afraid of falling asleep here; upon entering the dream realm, they're still alert. Li Banfeng stayed awake with effort, waiting for Meng De's response. He waited for about ten minutes, but Meng De didn't come out, and Li Banfeng fell asleep next to Ye Haolong.
He dreamt he was holding his wife, dancing in the large dance hall at Xiaoyao Lodge, with the band accompanying on stage and the singer performing among them.
They danced through one song after another, and Li Banfeng gently wiped the sweat off the phonograph's horn: "Beloved wife, are you tired?"
"If husband isn't tired, then Little Servant isn't tired."
"Beloved wife, shall we dance another cha-cha-cha?"
"Let's skip that dance; it'll make my hips ache afterward."
"Does it really hurt? I'll give your hips a good massage..."
Li Banfeng was massaging the phonograph's hips when the singer on the stage suddenly shouted: "Sir, no more dancing, it's time to wake up."
"Stop kidding, can't you see I'm busy here?" Li Banfeng gently massaged his wife's hips.
"Seriously, no more dancing. If you keep dancing, you'll fall into a deep sleep and then it'll be hard to wake up!"
"Deep sleep or not, let me sleep well with my wife!"
"Sir!" Meng De teased with a playful voice, pulling Li Banfeng out of the dream realm.
Li Banfeng woke up, somewhat irritated: "Couldn't you wait a bit longer? I was just massaging her comfortably..."
"Sir, don't forget the main task."
Li Banfeng stretched and looked at Ye Haolong on the bed.
He was still lying there in the same position, basically motionless.
"You didn't wake him?" Li Banfeng frowned at Meng De, "If he's not awake, why did you call me?"
"Sir, I entered his dream realm, but I really couldn't approach him. He's been fighting with others; if I rashly got close, I'd certainly be seriously injured, maybe even lose my life."
"In the dream realm, you could still be hurt by him?" Li Banfeng wasn't too familiar with Dream Cultivation Skill.
Meng De explained: "Entering a regular person's dream may not result in getting hurt, but if entering another Dream Cultivator's dream realm, it's like entering their territory, where every move can become real."
The words were somewhat complicated, and Li Banfeng asked: "Are you saying Ye Haolong is a Dream Cultivator?"
Meng De hesitated a bit: "The cultivation level is invisible, but seeing him so alert in the dream, he should be a Dream Cultivator."
Ye Haolong has a cultivation level Above the Clouds; it's indeed difficult for Meng De to handle a Cultivator Above the Clouds alone.
Li Banfeng couldn't think of a strategy for a moment and felt fatigued.
Seeing him yawn, Meng De came up with an idea: "Sir, do you want to take a walk in his dream realm?"
Li Banfeng replied in surprise: "You have such a technique?"
Meng De said: "With my limited cultivation level alone, I definitely don't have such a technique, but before, I ate a Foreigner among whom was an expert in Dream Control. After consuming his flesh and blood, I learned a bit of Dream Bridge technique, maybe it can be tried."
Before Meng De could specifically explain what Dream Bridge is, Li Banfeng felt his eyelids heavy and soon entered a dream.
In the dream, Li Banfeng was lying on his wife's belly, silently listening.
His wife asked cautiously: "Husband, do you hear if it's a boy or a girl?"
Meng De coldly snorted nearby: "As if she can really give birth."
Li Banfeng and his wife indulged for a moment, then Meng De led him beside a suspension bridge.
Though with Meng De's hint, Li Banfeng knew he was in a dream, yet the suspension bridge before him still seemed curious.
He didn't know where this suspension bridge was suspended, he only saw dozens of ropes falling from the sky, suspending the shaky bridge surface, but couldn't see where these ropes originated.
Li Banfeng looked at Meng De and said: "If we go on this suspension bridge, if I fall off, will I really die?"
There was no Phonograph here, nor was there Hong Ying, Meng De clasped Li Banfeng's arm tightly and softly said: "Don't be afraid, with me around, sir won't suffer a trace of misfortune."
