The wife smiled upon hearing this: "Our Ah Lian is diligent, no need for instructions, she thinks about alchemy herself. Ah Lian, you should look carefully, is this Iron Bamboo a material for alchemy?"
Red Lotus calmly replied: "Why not? The elixir made from this superior material can cure common internal injuries with just one pill."
"Such a stubborn mouth, Ying Ying, take her back, she won't get to eat such good bamboo shoots."
Hong Ying took Red Lotus back to the Ninth Room, a sigh was heard from within: "You have such good cultivation, yet you're being ordered around like a servant."
Hong Ying frowned: "Is this directed at me?"
The room fell silent, Red Lotus smiled and said: "She wasn't wrong."
Hong Ying tossed Red Lotus into the room and turned back to the main room.
The phonograph held a bamboo shoot and said to Li Banfeng: "Husband, seeing Red Lotus's craving earlier, we can tell its authenticity, this really is Iron Bamboo."
Li Banfeng asked: "Besides treating internal injuries, what other uses does Iron Bamboo have?"
"Little Servant has heard rumors, it's said that these Iron Bamboo shoots can refine medicinal powder, and the entry-level powder for various Taoist Sects can be made from it."
The wife spoke calmly, leaving Li Banfeng dumbfounded, it took him a while to speak: "Can powder really be refined from bamboo shoots?"
The phonograph said: "As for the exact method, Little Servant isn't aware, it's a secret technique created by peddlers and Heavenly People together,
Red Lotus was made by the Heavenly People, she surely knows the inside story, maybe... Red Lotus can make medicinal powder from Iron Bamboo."
Li Banfeng still found it unbelievable: "Can all entry-level medicinal powder for Taoist Sects be made from this bamboo shoot?"
The phonograph pondered for a long time and said: "Perhaps different sects use different auxiliary materials, this Little Servant really can't say clearly."
Senior Brother Sun came to Kuwu Mountain for the Iron Bamboo shoot.
He also has Red Lotus in his hand.
Is he planning to refine entry-level medicinal powder from bamboo shoots?
Would this anger the peddlers? Would this bring disaster to Fool's City?
Li Banfeng left Portable Residence and went to Fool's City.
At Sun Tiecheng's residence, Sun Tiecheng was holding a teacup, squatting on the ground, talking to Red Lotus: "Brother, isn't one bamboo shoot enough for you to eat?"
Brother?
This Red Lotus male?
Red Lotus stretched its leaves towards Li Banfeng: "Do I know you? Why do I find you so congenial?"
The voice is female, exactly like their own Red Lotus.
Why does Sun Tiecheng call her brother?
Could Sun Tiecheng not hear Red Lotus's voice?
Li Banfeng pretended not to hear, squatting beside Sun Tiecheng said: "Senior Brother, what are you doing here?"
Sun Tiecheng mysteriously said: "I'm doing alchemy, a superior elixir, worth more than gold!"
Li Banfeng feigned surprise: "What elixir is worth more than gold? Why have I never seen it?"
"You're seeing it now!" Sun Tiecheng took out a Xuanyun Pill from the drawer and handed it to Li Banfeng, "This Red Lotus just made two pills for me, one for Ah Gui and one I'll give to you."
Li Banfeng waved his hands repeatedly: "Only two pills were made, if they're all given away, wouldn't Senior Brother have none left?"
"I'm not in a hurry," Sun Tiecheng stared at Red Lotus and said, "Red Lotus told me he still needs auxiliary materials, he wants Iron Bamboo, so I got Iron Bamboo for her, with Iron Bamboo, Red Lotus can make even better elixirs, much better than Xuanyun Pill."
Sun Tiecheng directly told Li Banfeng about the Iron Bamboo.
Li Banfeng looked at Red Lotus and said: "Big Brother, can bamboo really be used for alchemy? Don't be deceived by her!"
"Why would she deceive me? What else do I have to deceive?" Sun Tiecheng smiled bitterly, then asked Li Banfeng, "Old Qi, why did you come? Did you encounter something?"
Li Banfeng sighed: "After drifting outside for so long, seeing many deceptions and intrigues, I feel a bit homesick."
Sun Tiecheng nodded: "Still, our family is genuine, are Tang Changfa and the others alright?"
"They're doing well, doing small business in the Outside Provinces, honestly operating, fairness to both young and old."
Bang!
Sun Tiecheng's teacup fell.
Upon hearing fairness to both young and old, Sun Tiecheng shivered.
Li Banfeng said in surprise: "Senior Brother, what's the matter?"
Sun Tiecheng waved his hand: "It's nothing, fairness to both young and old is a peddler's unique technique, it restrains us Taoist Sect, be very careful in the future,
by the way, Tang Changfa shouldn't know this technique, right?"
Li Banfeng shook his head: "I'm not talking about the technique, I'm saying he's conducting business honestly."
"Honest is good, we're all honest people," Sun Tiecheng had someone clean up the teacup, "Old Qi, you should treat Tang Changfa and them well, just because they're dead, don't look down on them."
Li Banfeng shook his head: "I've never considered them dead, they're my brothers and sisters."
Sun Tiecheng nodded: "I know you'll never mistreat your family, those who follow you have blessings to enjoy."
Li Banfeng smiled: "Life should be spent pursuing happiness."
"Yes, it should be spent pursuing happiness, whoever denies us happiness, we'll get rid of them!" Sun Tiecheng looked at Red Lotus, "Once the elixir is made, I'll send more people out, let them enjoy happiness with you, how about it?"
Why wait until the elixir is made?
Li Banfeng smiled: "Alright, after leaving I'll go to the Outside Provinces to find them a livelihood, all honest work!"
Sun Tiecheng shook his head: "The Outside Provinces and Puluo State are too far apart, sending them directly to the Outside Provinces is too hasty, once they're scared, they won't want to go out, and there's nothing I can do."
"Then send them to the Ink Shop, that's my territory."
Sun Tiecheng still shook his head: "There are too many scholars in the Ink Shop, and few in our city are literate, going to the Ink Shop, they'll surely be bullied."
