The first person to recognize the tall figure after meeting those familiar blue eyes was none other than the Queen of the Human Continent. Like many rulers from the other continents, she had left her kingdom and personally come to fight on the battlefield.
After all, they all understood that once the Dwarven Continent fell, they would be next.
Elizabeth’s eyes widened as she stared at the figure before her and softly muttered.
"Skyler?"
Her husband, Damien, who was fighting alongside Alistair in the distance, noticed her reaction. Turning his gaze toward her as he killed another dark creature that jumped toward him with the sword Lost Sapphire of Serenity, Damien followed her line of sight.
"Skyler?"
He muttered, stunned. Just as he spoke, another thunderous attack erupted across the battlefield from a different direction.
Many gazes instinctively snapped toward the source of the thunderous noise, where Argon Steel—the leader of the strongest guild in Eldoria, who had woken up only a day ago and joined the battlefield despite failing to stabilize his power—was fighting alongside numerous other powerful Lights.
Only to see another tall young figure suddenly appear, killing a powerful dark creature that had lunged toward Argon.
The moment Argon saw those familiar emerald eyes, his pupils dilated, and the hand gripping his weapon trembled. Yuris hovered before him, the space around him shifting according to his command as he stared at the dark creatures. With a sneer, he spoke in a voice filled with killing intent.
"Dare to touch my brother? You wish!"
As his icy words fell, Yuris charged toward the dark creatures without a trace of fear, instantly beginning a one-sided slaughter.
Behind him, Argon stared in disbelief, unable to comprehend that the person fighting before him was his mischievous younger brother—the same one who had run away only a month ago. Argon had been entirely focused on stabilizing his newly acquired divine power, leaving him with little time to pay attention to the rumors spreading throughout Eldoria.
Although he knew that Yuris was among the few youngsters who had entered the Battle Royal alongside Skyler, he hadn’t expected his brother to return so strong.
So, his shock was not merely doubled—it was multiplied a hundredfold. The brother who was twenty years younger than him had returned, yet his strength had already surpassed his own by countless times.
Argon was pulled out of his daze when Yuris suddenly glanced back at him and began scolding him with an angry gaze.
"Your body is already a mess! I leave for only a month, and you’re somehow already on the verge of death! If I hadn’t come back, were you planning to just go and die?!"
Argon blinked in a daze. The powerful Lights and guild members from his guild around them were equally stunned by the sudden turn of events, unable to believe what they were witnessing. After a short moment, Argon finally found his voice.
"You can..."
Yuris immediately interrupted him.
"Of course I can! I can sense the divine power wreaking havoc inside your body. If you can’t even handle such power, then why did you absorb it in the first place? Idiot!"
Before Argon could process his shock—or wonder how his younger brother, who used to flee whenever he got angry, now had the gall to speak to him like that—Yuris had already turned back toward the battlefield.
"I’ll have a proper talk with you later!"
After Yuris, three more young figures appeared across different areas of the battlefield: Zack, Austin, and Charles.
Isaac didn’t appear in the sky.
Instead, his figure appeared on the land below as he landed beside his father, who was fighting on the second line of defense.
Seeing his son safe and unharmed, the old man—who possessed great wealth yet had still come to fight when the safety of their planet was on the line—was overwhelmed with emotion, tears welling in his eyes.
However, he did not stop fighting.
Isaac looked at his father.
The son who had once been nothing but a bookworm, only remembering him when he needed money to purchase herbs to create potions, finally spoke with a determination that reassured his father for the first time.
"I will kill every single one of these creatures! I swear... I won’t let anything happen to you. I’ll protect my family!"
Although the six newcomers who had just joined the battlefield were separated by great distances, the moment they arrived, their overwhelming divine auras spread across the entire battlefield. Their power surpassed everyone present, reigniting the hope of those who had begun to despair.
The dwarves, who had suffered the greatest losses as their continent was the first to face the sudden calamity, wiped away their tears as they witnessed the impossible.
Just moments ago, the battle had seemed utterly hopeless, with defeat being inevitable. Yet after the arrival of these six young warriors, the tide began to turn. And they could see it—the monsters that had overwhelmed them were being pushed back.
For the first time since the disaster began, the dwarves saw a glimmer of victory.
The tall youth with ash-brown hair floating in the distance was undoubtedly the strongest among them. Unlike the others, he focused mainly on the bone dragons and the dark beings riding atop them.
Those creatures were the true elites of the enemy forces—the commanders controlling the endless horde pouring from the void. With every dark rider and bone dragon he eliminated, the monsters below gradually lost their direction and order.
Without their commanders, the twisted creatures became nothing more than mindless beasts driven solely by hunger and destruction. They no longer moved with coordination or followed any strategy; they simply charged forward, devouring everything in their path.
As a result, the battlefield that had once seemed impossible to defend slowly began to shift in their favor. The endless tide of monsters was finally becoming easier to suppress.
A day passed, and Skyler looked down, hearing faint cheers rising from the Lights fighting in the distance.
However, he did not slow down. With every strike, another dark creature was cut down.
His movements remained calm and precise, his expression unchanged as he continued slaughtering the enemies before him. Yet deep down, Skyler understood the truth.
This was only the first wave of the calamity.
These dark creatures had descended without the direct command of the God of Extinction. After all, with countless planets and realms existing across numerous lower and higher universes, how could that dark god personally monitor and command every single invasion?
However, the moment the first wave failed, the God of Extinction would become aware of the situation. And when that happened...
The next wave would descend.
A wave far more terrifying than the first, carrying dark forces that even the current battlefield might not be able to withstand.
