Chapter 1121: Rescuing Mo Jing
At this moment, Chen Tianlong saw a skinny young fellow walking towards him. He thought for a moment, mischievously smiled, and walked over.
"Hey brother, I just got here not long ago. Senior Brother Chen Hai asked me to deliver something, but I don’t know where he is. Can you tell me?" Chen Tianlong asked calmly.
"New here?" The young man hesitated for a moment, but after eyeing Chen Tianlong’s attire, he said, "Just follow this main road, take a right at the second intersection, go straight, and when you see two stone lions, take another right, you’ll see a yellow villa, that’s Senior Brother’s place. But let me tell you, don’t call him Senior Brother, call him Sect Leader!"
"Huh? Why call him Sect Leader? Isn’t he Senior Brother?" Chen Tianlong feigned surprise and asked intentionally.
"Are you stupid? How long have you been here? You don’t even know this? Damn it, I don’t know what the management is thinking hiring clueless fools like you." The young man clearly lost his patience and cursed.
"Haha, sorry, I got in through connections. Have you heard of Hao Shuai? He’s my older cousin."
Chen Tianlong casually fibbed. Since Hao Shuai had pledged allegiance to the Celestial Pill Sect, he should have some reputation.
"Ah? You’re Young Master Hao’s cousin? My apologies, my apologies. Senior Brother Chen Hai took over as acting Sect Leader three months ago, while the Sect Leader has been in seclusion for a long time, rumored to emerge one or two days before the trial." The young man’s attitude did a complete 180 upon hearing Hao Shuai’s name.
Hao Shuai was now the favored one beside Chen Hai, and it’s said he had become part of the Celestial Pill Sect’s leadership. After the Third Elder’s death, Chen Hai directly appointed Hao Shuai as the Third Elder, making him widely known throughout the sect.
Xue Kong was also titled, becoming the Fourth Elder of the Celestial Pill Sect, while Madman Li had been dealt with by Chen Tianlong.
"Ah, I see. Thank you, big brother. I’ll go deliver the stuff now." Chen Tianlong got the information he needed and didn’t linger, heading straight in the direction pointed out by the young man.
Soon, Chen Tianlong found the yellow villa, ready to sneak in when he suddenly noticed cameras ahead. Chen Tianlong quickly hid to the side, used his X-ray vision for a look, and realized these weren’t simple cameras.
Consider it like the residence of the national leader, cameras covered every angle with no blind spots. If Chen Tianlong were to just walk in, he’d be surrounded in less than two minutes.
"Hmm, these crappy devices can’t trouble me." Chen Tianlong sneered disdainfully. He was once a top assassin, if such cameras could hinder him, then he might as well give up being an assassin.
Chen Tianlong glanced around and saw a few plastic bags nearby, his lips curled slightly, and he swiftly darted across.....
Two minutes later, those plastic bags were precisely hung in front of the main cameras nearby, blocking their view completely.
At this point, Chen Tianlong swaggered into the villa, as if it was his own place.
Upon entering, Chen Tianlong didn’t think of any dungeons or small rooms; rather, he imagined Mo Jing would be used for alchemy assistance, so she must be well treated, otherwise given her personality, she’d be impossible to reason with.
With his understanding of his sister Mo Jing, Chen Tianlong headed towards the rooms upstairs..
Evidently, Chen Hai wasn’t in the villa at this time, and the environment was so quiet, cameras were so thorough, Chen Hai didn’t think anyone would dare oppose the Celestial Pill Sect or cause trouble at his villa, naturally he was off guard.
After checking the master bedroom and the hall, Chen Tianlong felt at ease. He started moving between rooms, in no time, the four-story villa was swiftly searched by Chen Tianlong.
Unfortunately, even with just two rooms left on the fourth floor, Mo Jing was still nowhere to be found.
As he approached the last two rooms, Chen Tianlong suddenly had a strong premonition, that Mo Jing was inside one of them.
The room near the stairway appeared unglamorous, which was exactly why Chen Tianlong directly took out a wire, started picking the lock. Mo Jing didn’t fancy luxurious rooms, this naturally fresh-looking room somewhat resembled Mo Jing’s room.
Soon, the door was opened, Chen Tianlong couldn’t be 100% sure Mo Jing was inside, so he cautiously poked his head in for a peek.
Sure enough, this was Mo Jing’s room, he saw at first glance the cute cloth shoes under the bed, the very gift he gave Mo Jing.
Once confirmed, Chen Tianlong snuck into the room, though she wasn’t there, he could wait.
But just as Chen Tianlong was about to turn and close the door, someone suddenly burst out from behind the door, shouting, "Beat these bad guys to death, how dare you come in!"
"Bang!"
Chen Tianlong was struck on the shoulder by Mo Jing wielding a broom. Of course, he heard Mo Jing’s voice, which is why he didn’t dodge; otherwise, dreaming she could hit him with such an attack.
"Xiaojing."
Chen Tianlong turned, grabbed the broom, then grinned.
"Ah? Brother... Boohoo, brother you finally came, Xiaojing was so scared! Those bad guys kept forcing me to eat, it was so awful, I lost my appetite." Mo Jing whimpered.
"...."
Chen Tianlong was speechless, Mo Jing was almost catching up with Lu Xiaoyu. They captured you, fed you, and you say you were forced.
"Alright Xiaojing, brother will take you out now. They captured you just to assist with alchemy, they don’t mean any harm. Regardless, brother won’t let sister suffer." Chen Tianlong said, lifting Mo Jing into his arms, and the two headed towards the door.
Mo Jing leaned on her brother’s sturdy shoulder, inexplicably feeling a warmth, a sense of reassurance.
When Chen Tianlong left, he still avoided the cameras, but just as he reached the door, he found two people rushing over. These two were evidently Chen Hai’s subordinates; Chen Tianlong ignored one thing, there was a tracker on Mo Jing, and moving her would alert them.
Clearly, the two were running over because they saw the tracker moving out.
"Who goes there, stop!" The two disciples were trusted aides of Chen Hai, their strength around Celestial Dao two-star, only behind the elders, among the elite disciples.
"Oh, nobody special, I’m just taking my sister out for some air. You guys carry on with your business." Chen Tianlong said, not bothering with them, walking right past.
Because he had already gauged their strength, completely outmatched.
"Hell no, you wish!"
The two immediately reacted, realizing this was Mo Jing’s brother, Chen Tianlong.
Just, they were mistaken; with their strength, daring to stop Chen Tianlong was akin to seeking death. If it weren’t for the imminent trial, Chen Tianlong would indeed deal with those obstructing him to release his anger.
Didn’t they know Mo Jing was his reverse scale?
Dragons have reverse scales; touch them and face death.
