Chapter 1220 - Travelling Together II
"The dinner was really good," Jim said as he laid back on the chair; his plates were clean and stomach full; if not for that, he would have taken a bite of whatever that is remaining.
"I am feeling full; the last time I had eaten this much when it was when Great Cook have cooked for my welcoming ceremony," Mary said as she also laid back in the chair like Jim.
One by one, everyone laid back on their chairs after stuffing themselves full. They have eaten all I cooked; there barely anything remained in pots.
We talked for quite minutes, and I got to find some interesting things about these people. Sarah is now Jim's fiancé, which is not surprising, seeing how hopelessly in love he is with her, and even if I don't want to admit she also loves him just as much.
On the other hand, Jacob and Nick are in a relationship while Mary had gone through a bad break up a few days before she came to this ruin, she had no specific reason to come here other than clearing her mind.
"How are you guys preparing for the Battle King? There is barely one and a half years remained to that." Suddenly Jacob asked when I was about to excuse myself to my room.
Battle King, he is referring to is World Championship, the greatest competition in the world where nearly every person is excited for including me, but unfortunately for me, I don't think I will participate in it.
"I am very excited; I am sure I could reach the Peak Level of King Stage at that time," Sarah said excitedly.
For others crossing two big stages in a single year quite a feat, especially the King Stage, whose comprehension, even talented struggled to get, but it is not a problem for this bunch.
"Me, too." "I don't think it will be a problem for me to reach the Peak of King Stage in one and a half years," Nick said with the same excitement as Sarah before Mary also chimed in.
These people are hosts of Apex Inheritances, and these Inheritances chose them for a reason. These People are already at the Mid and High level of Duke and could level up rapidly if they wanted, but they are not doing that.
They wanted to level up step by step, harnessing the power of their Inheritance to their limit before level up.
"Let's retire; we will be leaving quite early tomorrow," Sarah said, and we all got up from our seats and walked toward our rooms.
As I entered my room, I directly walked into the practice room and opened the control. Jim had given everyone partial control so that they can manage their rooms their way.
As the marble tub appeared, I filled it with the Cosmic Energy-rich Water before adding some herbs and other things. After everything is ready, I stepped into the tub while feeling the torturous pain.
The seconds of entering, I became injured, but I kept hang of that state by circulating my healing energy and healing rule, not to forget the power of my Constitution, also helping me very much.
In a few days, Ive notice that as I put myself into the torturous training, I am digging out more and more potential from my Constitution; it is becoming more and more active.
I am using all of my Constitution's power through my Inheritance, and now I have found a way to harness it more. The greater potential I harness from my Constitution, the powerful it will become, the stronger my Inheritance will become.
The three of my powers, Healing Inheritance Energy, Healing Rule, and Healing power of my Constitution, are fighting against the raging Cosmic Energy trying to tear my body apart.
It is an intense struggle with my body and soul as a battlefield; they ravaged it and made me experience the pain greater than before; during the training, I sometimes wondered if I became a masochist of something who likes to training in as much as pain as possible.
No, I am not a pain s.l.u.t or anything. If it is my control, I would not even experience such pain; the only masochist would like it. I do it because it is the fastest, most effective method of body refinement I currently have.
I stayed in the Water for little more than two hours before I stepped out of it with my horrific body, which healing speed increased instantly just as I got out of the tub, and I was completely healed within a minute.
The refinement had made me so tired that I did not even wipe off the Water and directly went to my bed to sleep.
I slept within a few seconds; my face hit the pillow, and woke up in the early morning feeling completly refreshed. I got up and walked to freshened up and showered before walking out of my room.
"Jim!" I said in surprise when I saw him sitting in the hall; I did not think he would wake up this early; the sun had barely risen yet, and he seemed to be waiting for me as a smile appeared on his face before it became serious with slight nervousness.
"Micheal, I was hoping if you let me watch you cook?" He said. His question had caught me off guard and also made frown a little.
Any Secrete Arts art is deeply private and passed down to the select few; him watching me cook asking to take a gleam at my art, even if he is my good, I would think twice before allowing that.
"I know it is quite rude, but I urgently needed inspiration as I am stuck in Alchemy for a while." "I would not ask you to do without benefits; you can watch me concoct a potion, as you know, my Inheritance is Alchemical Type." He said while looking at me nervously.
He is right; watching him doing Alchemy will benefit me a lot, but currently, I do not need that; there is one thing I need in which Jim can help me.
"Can you craft Morowsky Solution?" I asked, hearing that a look of surprise appeared on his face before he looked me seriously.
"I can craft it, but I can't say it will be of the best quality." He said, and now it is my turned to get surprised; it is not anyone who can craft Morosky solution; it is a very complex solution that needs specialized skills.
Only Emperor or above grade Alchemist could craft it, and from what I had read, there has been very few Alchemist who was able to craft it while they are in the King stage, but now Jim said he could craft it.
It is quite shocking, but I do not doubt him; if he can say he can craft it, then he surely has the skills to craft it.
"When do you need it?" He asked, "In the evening." I replied, he thought for a while before looking at me. "I can craft it in the evening; I am sure you have all the materials that it needs?" he asked, and I nodded.
