Gu Yunyou's faint words not only made Pang Huang's face change drastically, but also filled the faces of all spectators witnessing this scene with amazement.
"Look at Dingchuan Academy."
"Look, there's someone incredibly impressive over there!"
Many spectators desperately pulled their companions.
Obviously, at this moment, the previously unnoticed student Gu Yunyou and the mech 'Holy Shield Giant Thunder'—which had been considered a joke—performed a perfect rendition of all their heroic fantasies.
"What outrageous boasting!"
Pang Huang's voice came out suppressed as Three Rock Scorpion raised a massive energy disc, rapidly forming a vortex hovering above, while his feet started shuffling unpredictably in a clockwise direction.
The chain in Holy Shield Giant Thunder's hand instantly tightened, pulling back.
In the cockpit, Gu Yunyou's gaze calmly observed the screen.
The footsteps of Three Rock Scorpion began to gradually… outline a clear light trail in his pupils.
All these events occurred in a fleeting moment.
Then his slender fingers danced like elves across the console.
"It's a pity… Saying the wrong words inevitably comes with a price."
Holy Shield Giant Thunder's feet split apart, and its arms abruptly pulled back.
The gigantic tower shield, standing fifteen meters tall, instantly uprooted from the ground and swiftly flew back before the mech.
"What is he trying to do?"
Half of Dingchuan Mecha Team couldn't comprehend this action.
However, Mo Huaren of 'Light Bat', Jes of 'Red Cat', and Crock of 'Ghost Tiger', their eyes flickered with seriousness.
At such close proximity, they felt with utmost clarity the unreserved reverse shield action.
By normal reasoning, at this speed, the shield should be impossible for the mech to catch properly.
It already equated to a full-force strike by a high-powered Class A mech.
However, recalling just now the peculiar change in Wood Holy Shield Giant Thunder.
They absolutely wouldn't believe this was simply a normal shield retrieval action.
Mu Fan's eyes were tightly locked on the arena; at this moment, he suddenly spoke: "Center of gravity shifted, he's going to… kick the shield."
This self-talk was like a thunderous shock exploding in the minds of several, Mo Huaren and others being naturally gifted. When their eyes saw Holy Shield Giant Thunder's slightly bent left knee, they finally understood, then their eyes shimmered with blatant amazement!
So simple and plain, yet at this moment, it was the most powerful action.
Boom!
A fierce metal collision, like a grand bell.
Holy Shield Giant Thunder's right foot kicked forward heavily at a concealed angle no greater than 5°.
In that instant collision, the tower shield…
Changed direction without pause, its speed not only remained undiminished, but quickened by three tenths.
Like a golden lightning piercing towards the mech's right rear!
Originally, Pang Huang had already maneuvered to the right rear of Holy Shield Giant Thunder, his eyes brimming with ferocity.
However, the swiftly launched golden giant shadow completely disrupted his rhythm.
At the critical juncture, evasion was already too late.
Both hands raised the super large energy disc and hurled strongly forward!
Three Rock Scorpion's ultimate strike—the Super Giant Rock Flying Disc!
The tenfold compressed mix of three energies in the flying disc at this moment spun not two meters before crashing into the giant shield.
Boom!
A terrifying compressed flame stream rose between Three Rock Scorpion and the shield, a crimson cloud of fire swirling up to fifty meters high!
Instantly capturing the attention of the entire Sky Arena audience.
Pang Huang felt uncontrollable intense recoil force transmitted through the console directly to his arms, finally surging within him, pinning him fiercely to the pilot seat.
The entire mech flew backward uncontrollably.
The scene was already filled with astonished exclamations, yet when the giant shield battered through the fire cloud pressuring towards Three Rock Scorpion, the exclamation soared anew.
Pang Huang, with eyes filled with shock and anger, bore the intense pain from his body, his arms wrapped within the coordination device crossed suddenly in front, merging a sloped arc with his advanced technique.
This giant shield absolutely couldn't be met head-on with bravery.
Boom!
A loud clash, brilliant sparks blossomed on the mech's side.
Three Rock Scorpion was fiercely knocked flying.
In the cockpit, Pang Huang let out a muffled groan, blood trickled from the corner of his mouth.
"How could a shield strike hit me on the move… Huh?!"
His eyes suddenly widened.
He hadn't seen that at the moment of kicking out the shield, Holy Shield Giant Thunder's arms rippled like waves before and after, which, upon collision, transmitted to the shield.
Thus, all he saw at this moment was the shield that had originally flown away, rolling back instantly.
Ding ding ding, amid dense collision sounds.
The giant shield wrapped in chains entangled Three Rock Scorpion, immobilizing the mech and crashing heavily onto the ground.
Amidst the clanking chain compression sounds, tension snapped tight.
Like a Demon God, the figure took a large step back, arms straightening the iron chain…
No sound emerged.
Arms swung overhead, the body pressed sharply downward.
All the students focusing their gaze here saw this clear scene—
A giant mech interlaced with dim gold and pitch black, seemingly hefting a super large Meteor Hammer in its hands, tracing a perfect arc through the air.
The hearts of the spectators skipped heavily.
Boom!
Fierce tremors directly transmitted from the metal ground to their feet…
Nearby the crowd felt their bodies tremble heavily.
Phew!
In the cockpit, Pang Huang's body felt a strong blow, blood finally couldn't be held back and burst forth, the whole person fainted.
Clatter…
Casually toss away the iron chain in hand.
Holy Shield Giant Thunder didn't even glance at the opponent's remnants over there, turned around… half squatted, arms held three meters above the ground.
A hiss sound as the cockpit entrance beneath the armor on the mech's chest opened.
A slender figure wearing the Dingchuan uniform appeared at the entrance, body slightly crouched leaping onto the palm, then gracefully landed.
Five fingers pressing the ground, Gu Yunyou rose slowly, cast a faint glance at the fervent audience, face without any pride or joy…
Eyelids lowered, walked quietly back to the preparation corridor.
Like an elegant and quiet knight, carrying honor, silently returning home.
The audience froze for a moment…
Countless girls went wild!
"Oh my God, he was so handsome just now!"
"How can there be such an elegant and chic man, that kind of temperament, it made me completely lose resistance."
"The girls at Dingchuan Academy are so lucky, I want to fall in love…"
The boys all had dark faces, especially the White Hair next to the fatty, who had a look of swallowing bitter melon.
"All these praises and compliments…"
White Hair's body trembled, the fatty saw this and soothingly patted his brother's shoulder, yet White Hair's next words made the fatty's hand freeze.
"…Why not for me! I'm the most handsome one!"
The fatty's hand retracted, using dead-fish eyes to look at White Hair, "Just now my hand slipped, don't take offense."
"Dingchuan Academy, Gu Yunyou—victorious!"
"Overall score, 6:11, the individual battle in mecha ended prematurely! Congratulations to the victor—Dingchuan Academy!"
The judge's voice hung in the air above the arena, majestic and resonant.
Paired with the lonely silhouette of Gu Yunyou just now, it instantly ignited the spectator's emotions.
Unrestrained applause akin to a wave surged towards the fleeting giant shield counterattack!
Manker's forehead veins bulged, his eyes nearly burst, opened his mouth wanting to shout something, but his body trembling slightly, finally remained voiceless, only bowed out.
In this battle, he wasn't blind, so he knew clearly…
That student named Gu Yunyou had skill far surpassing Pang Huang's.
This bitterness and helplessness instantly shattered his long-held pride.
