BANG!
The Extreme Special Soldier raised the alloy shield in its hand.
Four bubbles exploded on the sturdy shield surface.
The light blue ion spark exploded, instantly engulfing the Extreme Special Soldier.
"The opposing side must be having a hard time with this one unless the manufacturing process of their mecha's cockpit has reached perfection, with no gaps longer than 3mm; otherwise, the pilot will definitely feel the sting of the ion spark bomb, haha."
Next to Supervisor Manker, a middle-aged man in a senior mentor's uniform showed a schadenfreude expression on his face. Just after he finished speaking, a trace of doubt flickered across his face.
"But speaking of which, based on the Clownfish's floating shuttle attack mode, doesn't this kind of electromagnetic effect also impact its own pilot to a certain extent?"
This is a double-edged sword.
However, Manker let out a cold laugh, looked at the ugly, bald mecha, and said coldly, "Of course it has an impact, but Hemingway has undergone half a year of anti-electromagnetic special training for this day!"
The middle-aged mentor shook his head with a sigh, "Indeed, the teaching methods of Gonia War Academy are beyond our reach..."
"Heh."
As the two were conversing, the situation on stage changed.
Hemingway's estimation of the ion spark bomb's initial paralyzing time was around 0.3 to 1 second. Though this seems short, it was already an extremely terrifying control time in actual combat.
The Clownfish's obscure characteristics meant many people were unaware of its attack style.
Hemingway, with a calculated maneuver, decided to showcase his skills in the first attack, intending to end the battle with a blitz.
"Fighting and mecha are two completely different development directions; you're just humiliating yourself in the mecha field, hahaha."
Hemingway's laughter echoed from the arena.
CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!
Four boomerang-like fins directly attached to the outer shell of the Extreme Special Soldier, instantly emitting a water-blue brilliance, like four vortices suddenly forming on the lake's surface.
The clownfish mecha's bubble-like devices unexpectedly spewed countless bubbles at this moment.
"Here's the signature move—[Floating Shuttle]!"
"It's this operation; during the shuttle process, the Clownfish performs a piercing attack at twice the normal speed, which demands an insanely high reaction speed from the pilot. With forty-five variable key operations, if even one key is wrong, this near-missile-like shuttle attack cannot be performed."
Some knowledgeable spectators on stage loudly commented. When they saw some girls focusing their attention, a sense of vanity instantly swelled in their hearts.
As the bubbles dispersed, the engine behind the Clownfish mecha, along with the surrounding Kirin Armor, vibrated for a moment, making a pop sound as if a bubble was pricked with a needle.
The entire mecha instantly pierced through the air.
Some people were just blinking their eyes and were shocked to find the Clownfish had disappeared from their sight.
"It's here!"
A colorful figure instantly sliced through the air and solidified in front of the bald Extreme Special Soldier.
The Clownfish's arms launched a pair of bizarre tooth blades, stabbing fiercely at the Extreme Special Soldier from bizarre angles, one on the left and one on the right.
The dazzling actions in this moment left the audience utterly blown away.
A half-second paralyzing time was simply perfect for the Clownfish's assassination!
The bald Extreme Special Soldier seemed frozen, still maintaining the shield pose.
However, just as the Clownfish's dual blades were less than two meters from the Extreme Special Soldier, the left hand of the Extreme Special Soldier was lifted and swung down heavily.
CLUNK, the sound of shield clashing with the stabbing blade, erupted in sparks on the left side of the Extreme Special Soldier.
Even Hemingway, piloting the Clownfish, didn't expect such a sudden and abrupt counterattack.
"How could there be no impact!"
This precise block undoubtedly indicated a calm waiting for his attack.
Completely defying common sense!
From being electrified to muscle spasms and then recovering, unless through extremely harsh specialized training, it's impossible to remain so composed in resistance.
If so, then there can only be one possibility...
"The Gframe double-buffer device is the trademark feature of this mecha. The cockpit of that prototype... even withstood the Strangling Demon Snake's surprise attack from Solomon Andumari back then. Now trying to outsmart it with this method, truly ignorance is bliss." Black sighed wryly in the cockpit.
The warship technology of this cosmic plane lags significantly behind the Yake Empire, but the mecha level here far surpasses the original plane.
Even Lord Black cannot help but praise whenever he sees the many excellent mechas.
There was a gentle glint in Mu Fan's eyes.
This Special II model of the Extreme Special Soldier, although lacking the miraculous Meteor 3 engine, has retained other aspects very well.
Especially the cockpit equipped with the Gframe buffer device, which was strongly demanded by Wang Nuonuo during the manufacturing of the Extreme Special Soldier series mechas.
After almost facing danger for her in battle, the head of Loki Heavy Industry, Miss Wang, made just one request.
That was to make the entire series' cockpits exceedingly safe!
Sometimes, coincidences in the world are actually the result of countless efforts behind the scenes.
In the eyes of countless people, this Extreme Special Soldier had numerous flaws: insufficient firepower, cumbersome design, lack of speed.
But in Mu Fan's eyes, among these 1857 mechas, it was the best!
Because it represents the shared memories between him and Nuonuo.
"Since I can see the Extreme Special Soldier here, how can I lose?"
Even if it has thousands of flaws—
So what!
There was a glimmer in Mu Fan's eyes, recalling every moment with Nuonuo when he first encountered it.
Recalling every moment he'd piloted it in battle.
A smile representing confidence and pride curled at the corner of his mouth, Mu Fan's right hand skillfully slipped into the synchronizer, fiercely lifting along a slightly cold angle.
The Acabert Alloy Sword behind the Extreme Special Soldier dropped into his palm instantly, and the broad sword body was like a short shield, tilted under his rib.
That was followed by the harsh sound of metal drilling.
Hemingway saw that his right-hand thrust was blocked by the shield, and the left-hand thrust was merely caught by a heavy sword, so his eyes were entirely focused on that heavy sword at this moment.
"You think a single sword can block it?"
Hemingway shouted coldly, spreading his left hand wide, supporting the stabbing blade handle only with his palm, and suddenly spun it. Countless bubble-like blue lights enveloped the stabbing blade.
The oddly curved bone blade began to spin at an astounding speed, and even the surrounding air seemed to start twisting at that moment.
"The single-arm weapon spin, with rotational speeds ranging from 500 to 5000, for the pilot operating at the control console, the difficulty and cost of achieving this effect with non-drilling weapons are immense!"
"When the pilot performs this combat maneuver using auxiliary devices, they must withstand reduced feedback forces dozens of times; otherwise, the pilot's palm will be ruined."
Yet, after two seconds of stalemate in the drilling, suddenly, someone stood up abruptly, pointing at a detail on the screen.
"Look, the heavy sword of the Extreme Special Soldier is actually..."
"Synchronously changing direction!?"
In Gonia War Academy's preparation area, at this moment, two people stood up, exclaiming in astonishment.
In their view, the sword's tip touched the ground, and its blade was trembling with a very dense frequency at a small angle, thoroughly channeling the continuous drilling force of the Clownfish into the ground!
"Oh my God, I, Boogie Billy, am seeing such a shocking scene right at the start. This kind of operation... In my eyes as Billy, this should only appear in top-notch ace maneuvering by high-level Mecha Divisions!! Oh~ I'm thrilled!
Does any of you dear students have the contact information of this Extreme Special Soldier pilot for me?"
"Love you guys~"
The large, thickset, yet enchantingly faced blonde Billy blew a flying kiss towards the screen.
Instantly, there were sounds of vomiting and cussing all over the stage.

PS: Last night, the nanny took the baby out, and while on the rocking horse, got their index fingernail pinched off, which broke my heart. Took the kid to the hospital for nail removal surgery, and my daughter cried rivers. As of now, I'm still deeply troubled.
