Chapter 1074: Acting Cute and Coquettish to Seek Favor
Di Jinxuan couldn’t help but let out a startled cry, but he suddenly hugged her tightly.
Di Jinxuan’s heart suddenly beat faster, and she hurriedly said, "Nangong Jin, what are you doing? Let me go, go home and rest."
"Take me home," the man’s suggestive and gentle words rippled through her ears, causing Di Jinxuan to shiver involuntarily.
"Is that alright?" he held her, refusing to let go, his cool lips lingering by her ear as he whispered gently, "Wife, I want you to accompany me home, is that alright?"
His voice was naturally pleasant, luxuriously magnetic, and slightly husky from drinking, making it exceptionally seductive. Coupled with his current soft and somewhat pleading tone, no one could refuse such a voice.
Di Jinxuan was no exception; inexplicably, her heart softened.
Blushing, Di Jinxuan murmured softly, "Okay, but first let me go, don’t be like this."
"Like what?" Nangong Jin continued to caress her ear, his voice teasing and irresistible like a whining puppy.
He deliberately added a heavy breath to his voice, truly seductive.
"Don’t hold me like this, sit up," Di Jinxuan finally found her own voice.
Nangong Jin obediently let her go, allowing her to get comfortable, then said to the bodyguard who had been sitting in the driver’s seat, "Drive."
Since they both had been drinking, naturally they couldn’t drive; it was the bodyguard driving the car.
The bodyguard was quite familiar with their car model and the route home, so without any delay, he nodded, "Yes."
Then he started the car.
Nangong Jin leaned back in the rear seat, his eyes slightly squinting like a lazy cat, seemingly quite intoxicated.
Di Jinxuan sat obediently, not daring to move, yet she couldn’t help but glance at him and ask, "Are you really that drunk?"
Hearing this, Nangong Jin nodded, biting his lower lip with a sense of grievance, and said seriously, "Really."
"Then close your eyes and rest for a while," Di Jinxuan suggested as she took out her phone. "I need to call my parents first."
Nangong Jin didn’t stop her but just turned his head and gazed at her intently.
Di Jinxuan called Fang Hao, briefly explained that she was taking Nangong Jin home, and told Fang Hao not to worry.
Fang Hao was quite generous in his response.
After hanging up the phone, Di Jinxuan turned her head only to find Nangong Jin still staring at her with an intense gaze that scorched her face.
For some unknown reason, she felt strangely shy and her face heated up. What was this?
Di Jinxuan turned her head away, unconsciously coughing lightly; the atmosphere in the car turned ambiguously oppressive.
Seeing her turn away, Nangong Jin stretched out his arm and pulled her into his embrace, not letting her struggle, and then tilted his head onto her shoulder with a pitiful tone, "Wife, my head is really spinning."
Resigned, Di Jinxuan fell silent for two seconds before finally offering, "Shall I massage it for you?"
"Um," Nangong Jin nodded happily, of course.
Without fuss, Di Jinxuan reached out her small hand and placed it gently on his temple to start massaging.
Suddenly, a warm current surged in her heart; Nangong Jin felt moved, inexplicably so.
"Wife, you are really kind," he mumbled softly, leaning on her shoulder like a suddenly satisfied child, clinging even closer to her.
Di Jinxuan didn’t speak, only feeling his somewhat heavy and warm breath against her face, near her ear.
