Chapter 1048: Sue Her for Murder
She never expected that Di Mingjue would immediately take the fruit juice Gu Qibao did not drink and have it tested, and now she truly feared that she had caused a great disaster.
The sudden escalation of the situation left the others somewhat dumbfounded.
Fang Hao was the first to pick up the report from the ground and instantly, his face turned green, dark and ugly.
He raised his hand and without mercy, slapped Bo Chengxin across the face, shouting angrily, "Slut!"
She was utterly despicable, actually daring to harm his grandson.
Fang Hao felt a chill recalling it—if Gu Qibao had carelessly drunk it, then his grandson and granddaughter, those were two precious lives at stake.
How could Bo Chengxin, this venomous woman, be so ruthless?
They say children are innocent, yet she didn’t even spare those yet to be shaped.
Fang Hao had never been so furious; these were the grandchildren he had long awaited, almost harmed by someone, and just thinking about it made his anger uncontrollable.
Fang Hao immediately turned to Di Mingchen and said, "The younger one, have your guards come over immediately. Take this crazy woman to the police station, I want to sue her for murder."
Di Mingchen was stunned, but he too realized the gravity of the situation and quickly stepped forward to look at the report. His face also turned extremely dark.
Immediately, he made a gesture, and the armed guards came forward, directly drawing their firearms and aiming at Bo Chengxin.
Bo Chengxin was instantly terrified; the dark muzzle pointed at her made her truly understand what fear was.
A primal urge for survival rose from within, and she screamed frantically, "No, I didn’t do anything, Gu Qibao didn’t even drink that juice, how can it be considered murder!"
"If he had drunk it, you’d be looking at death right now," Di Mingjue coldly said to Bo Chengxin, "If he had, do you think you’d still have the chance to stand here and argue?"
Di Mingchen stepped forward, looked at Bo Chengxin with disgust, and ordered his guard, "Handcuff her and take her straight to the nearest police station for detention, strict surveillance."
"Yes," the guard replied emphatically, immediately taking out a shiny pair of handcuffs and without a word, clamped them on Bo Chengxin’s wrists.
Then, he roughly escorted her outside.
She continued struggling desperately, "You’re wronging me, wronging me!"
"We’ll see in court whether it’s a wrongful accusation or not," Di Mingjue coldly stated as he looked at her retreating figure with disdain.
"Get this crazy woman out quickly," Fang Hao, rubbing his forehead, said, truly disgusted.
The guards, more roughly now, dragged Bo Chengxin out, advancing in great strides.
The guests were still bewildered, what exactly had happened?
Bo Ruijie, Cheng Xinlan, and Bo Chenghe were also somewhat clueless. What juice? What medicine?
Then, Fang Hao turned around, took a deep breath, and addressed everyone, "I’m very sorry about today. What was supposed to be a joyous occasion turned sour because this crazy woman not only made a scene at the banquet with the President’s daughter but also drugged my daughter-in-law’s juice with an abortion pill.
This is premeditated murder, and we will surely sue her for intentional homicide later. Fortunately, my daughter-in-law and my grandchildren are all fine, and this mad woman will face the legal consequences she deserves.
My son and daughter-in-law are married, lovingly devoted to each other, forming a happy family. I hope everyone here harbors feelings of blessing.
My son is outstanding, and my daughter-in-law is well-behaved. Whoever marries into my family, whoever takes my daughter, it is all fate, not just anyone can covet. Those who covet, beware—I lay my words here today; anyone who dares destroy my family, I’ll make them pay the price.
Don’t think just because I am usually mild-tempered and easy-going that I don’t have my limits. If you doubt that, just try me."
Fang Hao’s words were overpowering, making everyone present shudder. It seemed she was seriously angry.
