Chapter 1028: What Kind of Man Competes with His Wife?
Li Hui immediately got excited, but just as she was about to speak, Di Yan added, "However, that kid isn’t very serious, I see all the girls here seem to like him a lot."
Di Yan’s words left Li Hui unsure of what to say, it’s her son’s fault for being too charming?
Fang Hao glanced over at the group and finally said, "Let them be, it’s their business to sort out, we should meddle less."
Di Yan gave her a sidelong glance, "That’s not what you said when Boss and Number Three were in love."
Fang Hao held her forehead, hands spread out, "Girls should be more reserved."
She obviously couldn’t incite Di Jinxuan to just go and bed Nangong Jin, right, right?
She could incite her own son to sleep with other girls because she knew her son’s personality.
But she obviously couldn’t incite her daughter to go and sleep with someone else’s son; after all, in a marriage, the man leads, and she didn’t understand what kind of person Nangong Jin really was.
Whether he was a good man, cared about his family, had a sense of responsibility, loved his wife, and so on.
Even if Nangong Tiancheng was a good man, that didn’t mean Nangong Jin definitely was, too.
Di Yan thought about it and agreed, his precious daughter deserved to be a bit more reserved.
Even if Nangong Jin, that brat, was really pursuing her, she should let him chase her until the end of time before considering it.
Li Hui thought for a moment and eventually said, "Actually, my Xiaojin quite likes your Xuanxuan, despite his usual frivolous demeanour, but my Xiaojin has never really been in a relationship. I see him pursuing Xuanxuan quite seriously."
"Really pursuing?" Fang Hao blinked, suddenly feeling it was surreal, so Nangong Jin was really chasing after Di Jinxuan!
"Yes." Li Hui nodded, and honestly admitted, "Alright, rest assured. The boy I’ve raised won’t be lacking, capable of singing and dancing, good at making money, and can even handle the thorny issues with ease. He’s okay with being teased, and won’t get angry; a small quarrel every three days or a little scrap every seven days is no problem."
Fang Hao: "..."
Seeing Li Hui’s proud and smug expression, Fang Hao swallowed hard, "Xiao Hui, are you really okay with treating your son like this?"
"What’s wrong with it." Li Hui pursed her lips, "A man, after all, should be responsible. A man who quibbles with his wife can hardly be called a man, right?"
Fang Hao thought about it, and damn, that made a lot of sense.
"So what do you mean?" Fang Hao raised her gaze to look at Li Hui.
Li Hui immediately got excited and, somewhat embarrassedly scratching her head, said, "Actually, what I mean is, whether he can pursue her successfully depends on his ability. Certainly, you can’t force Xuanxuan, my main point is to see if you and Di Yan dislike our Xiaojin."
Fang Hao blinked and turned her head to look at Di Yan, "Old man, do you dislike him?"
Di Yan pondered seriously for a moment, then turned to Li Hui and Nangong Tiancheng and said, "Xuanxuan is still young, your Xiaojin isn’t that young anymore, right? If they get married, when will they have children?
Xuanxuan wants to dance, she probably can’t have children as early as Xiaoqi."
"That’s up to them." Li Hui immediately raised her hand, "We’re not in a rush about the children, are we, Lord Cheng?"
"Yes." Nangong Tiancheng also immediately nodded, "What Hui Niang says is true, we’re not in a hurry about the children. After all, Xiaojin’s elder brother isn’t married yet, and we’re both young, there’s no rush."
Di Yan’s brow furrowed, "If your Xiaojin can act like a real man, I’d actually quite like him. But I have just one condition: if the two of them can get married, you guys have to give up that business."
