Chapter 1023: Could It Be Written by Him?
The exhilaration of letting oneself go felt so liberating that even the most conservative person’s blood was excited, boiling within them.
Di Jinxuan had not expected Nangong Jin to not only dance well but also play the drums so impressively, shocking everyone.
Compared with the drummer from just now, that drummer was absolutely inferior.
This was actually quite understandable since the drummer was just a drummer and didn’t dance, so he certainly couldn’t control the entire scene.
Therefore, the rhythm he produced was more like it was being driven by the dance.
On the other hand, Nangong Jin was different; he was used to dominating the stage, the commander of the performance, and he was more familiar with dancing.
Hence, the beats he drummed out had more explosiveness and tension, enabling him to control the whole scene.
Of course, Alvin also danced passionately, fully capable of holding the entire scene, not letting Nangong Jin steal all the limelight.
After all, a superstar still had the exceptional qualities of a superstar, with precise control over the fine details of the performance.
Moreover, he didn’t just dance; he could also sing.
Powerful music and dancing, the intense rhythm of the drums, two men each outstanding in their own right, under the flickering lights.
All of this combined into a spectacular show.
Silence fell below—not due to disinterest, but because everyone was overwhelmed, too shaken to utter a sound.
After the dance concluded, with the vibrant and sassy drum beat ending on a high note, people finally snapped out of their amazement.
Suddenly, the place erupted, with continuous applause and cheers, the atmosphere on the scene instantly reaching a climax.
Of course, the show still belonged to Alvin. He removed his in-ear monitor, fiddled with the microphone at his lips, a bit out of breath, but with a delighted grin, he spoke in somewhat broken Chinese, "Thank you, everyone, thankyouall. I’m very happy today, to come here, to perform with my senior, Mr. Nangong, very happy."
After speaking, he pointed with one hand toward Nangong Jin.
Nangong Jin cooperatively knocked on the drums, with flair.
"Of course, today’s most beautiful wishes still go to Miss Gu Qibao, Mr. Di Mingjue, and their adorable little treasure. I hope Miss Gu and Mr. Di remain forever happy."
Alvin was brimming with enthusiasm, and after finishing, he blew several air kisses to the crowd.
The applause from below was still enthusiastic.
"Then next, there’s one more song for Miss Gu, this song is called Myangel."
As soon as Alvin’s words fell, the applause from below became even more fervent, with immediate surges of screams.
Myangel was Alvin’s latest creation, the lead song of his newly released album. It debuted not long ago, with a light and playful melody, as well as being very sentimental.
The lyrics were simple, almost like a ditty, and the whole process sounded like a murmur, like the whispers of lovers, very pleasing to the ear.
Alvin, with a smile in his eyes, turned his head to look at Nangong Jin, who had already moved offstage.
Alvin lifted the corners of his mouth in a smile, "Before I sing, I have to tell everyone a secret."
His words immediately stirred up excitement in the audience. What?
There’s a secret?
Everyone was so curious. He was just here to sing and perform—what kind of secret could there be?
People watched Alvin intently, eyes unblinking.
Alvin looked towards Nangong Jin, the smile on his face growing wider, "It’s about this song. As everyone knows, this song is my breakthrough work, but I’m not the original creator. I was entrusted by someone else, who authorized me to release this song."
The crowd was instantly surprised and stirred up. What? The original wasn’t him?
Then who could it be?
On hearing this, Di Jinxuan was also startled. Myangel wasn’t originally created by Alvin.
With her gaze fixed on Alvin, who was intently looking at Nangong Jin, she couldn’t shake off an incredulous feeling. Alvin couldn’t be about to reveal that the song was written by Nangong Jin, could he?
