Chapter 1095: Revant’s New Hobby
Revant slowly removed the gloves from his second hand first. He pulled off his suit jacket, leaving only the inner shirt and waistcoat.
Then he rolled up his shirt sleeves, sighing before brushing his hair back with his hand.
Throughout all of this, Koll stared with a strange and confused expression.
’How can he be so comfortable in despair... What is he doing? Why is he doing all that?’
His mind refused to let him rest—as if he were overthinking every single one of Revant’s movements, even the meaningless ones.
Because he was so shaken and watchful of the Broken Tyrant that he wanted to make sure everything Revant did—both known and unknown—was under his radar, that he would see every move coming.
Little did he know, he was slowly becoming paranoid over small, meaningless gestures.
Revant, unaware of how intensely his opponent was watching, finally stilled himself. He stood like a statue, staring at Koll with a dark, disgusted expression.
This prompted Koll’s face to darken with annoyance as well.
"I see... indeed, I underestimated you. I thought that if I added more properties to the reflected despair, you would cower. You might have lost yourself to a child, but you are still a Tyrant at the end of the day—broken or not."
Koll simply turned his neck left, and a bone-chilling crack echoed out. He turned it right, and the same sound followed.
He stood silent for a moment. The air between the two stilled once again. The cold frigidness had somehow been subdued by the heat boiling up from the earth’s crust—the battle between Kryos and Ul—but neither of these two were concerned about that.
If anything, the boiling air seemed to pause for them, sweeping away from the battleground for a moment.
Then Koll moved.
He vanished—that was the right word.
Distance became meaningless as he covered a vicious stretch of it with blurred legs, all before a second could complete itself.
Revant didn’t look surprised. Fun fact? He wasn’t even looking.
But as Koll reached him, his hand flew back, palm open, his eyes full of indignation and disgust at having to actually try.
His hands, at mid-rib level, flashed forward and blurred so insanely fast they became invisible—phasing past Koll’s attacking claws, phasing past his body, and stopping in his stomach.
Koll froze mid-movement and looked down with widened eyes.
’What?’
The Broken Tyrant’s hands were inside his stomach, gripping one of his organs—his liver, to be specific.
"I wonder if I can sell this organ for a fair amount. I plan to go on vacation. That fool has no money to help me either way."
He looked at Koll.
"You’ve been around for a while, yes? How much do you think organs are worth these days?"
Slowly—no, not slowly—casually, Revant pulled out the organ he was holding, without having to tear through skin.
He looked at the wedge-shaped organ in his hands, smeared with blood alongside his entire hand. His face contorted with disgust for a moment, then he walked back, shattered some ice from the ground, placed the organ on his suit jacket, and packed ice around it.
He stood up and straightened with satisfaction, then turned back to Koll.
And tilted his head.
"You can simply reflect another one, so this shouldn’t be an issue, right?"
Koll frowned. That was exactly what he was thinking, but there was something unsettling about the way the Broken Tyrant said it.
Meanwhile, Revant’s eyes glinted, a demonic smirk spreading across his face.
"Good, because I’m going to need a lot of those. Your heart too... ahhh."
He licked his lips like a demented psychopath.
"The heart of a Tyrant—ahhh, has to be very expensive, right? Then I can simply harvest them as much as I need, and you can just reflect them back. Oooohhhhh, this is the first time I’m grateful to that fool for sending me out."
Koll stared with a disturbed look in his eyes. He didn’t realize it, but a drop of sweat was rolling down his cheek.
While he was still staring at Revant, the latter was suddenly touching him—so close, hands on his shoulders.
Koll’s eyes widened further.
’When did he—?!’
He didn’t finish the thought, as Revant looked at him and grinned maniacally. Then his hand sank into the Tyrant’s body, grabbed his left lung, and slowly ripped it out with gentle yet forceful precision.
Koll gritted his teeth and stifled a groan as the Tyrant tore his lung from his chest and pulled it from his body without even breaking the skin.
He suddenly became short of breath. His breathing process faltered with an incomplete lung to process it. He dropped to one knee, his face pale from silent agony.
Revant looked down at him, the organ dripping in his hand.
"I guess it doesn’t matter whether we’re human or not—our bodies function the same and hurt the same. Poor thing."
He casually kicked the Tyrant away, and Koll rolled with such ferocious force that the ice hills he struck were crushed to nothing. He finally came to a stop as he crashed against one of the mountains that had been reduced to a stump.
Revant slowly trekked back to his initial position, broke more ice, and added the lung to his collection.
He grinned proudly at what he was gathering, his eyes shining with lustrous passion for money—or was it passion for harvesting organs?
It was difficult to tell. But it looked like the Incomplete Tyrant had found a new hobby!
His expression straightened, becoming indifferent once more. He turned, and as Koll arrived from the air, he simply raised his hands, plucked out both eyeballs, and sent a cyclonic kick that drove Koll into the ground.
The earth trembled, and ice shards were sent flying skyward. Revant didn’t seem to care much—he at least added the eyes to his collection before anything else.
Before Koll could stand, there were already new eyes, another lung, a new liver too.
Revant smiled genuinely, trying to suppress his unhealthy grin.
"This is what I’m talking about! Tyranny of dirty tricks—let me use your tricks for something useful!"
Revant grinned widely and moved. He caught Koll in a chokehold and plucked out his eyes, then threw them backward.
As the Tyrant tried to resist, he smashed a blow into his chest, making his entire body convulse as if poison had been injected.
"If you have so much time to plot world destruction, what’s wrong with giving a little more time to donate to the poor!"
He smashed another blow into his chest before plucking out another eye.
Koll tried to resist, but the Broken Tyrant’s grip was like ten mountains carved from a world of iron. Nothing would budge.
Meanwhile, Revant was endlessly pulling out eyes and throwing them backward straight into his collection of organs, laughing like a maddened psychopath—completely unleashed.
"So, so much! Hahaha, so many organs! Do you even know what this means?! You fool! You had such a useful ability and you’re this poor and wretched?! Look at how useful you could be, and your best decision was to help an Origin escape from prison?!
"I’ve had to live in someone’s damned, lightless soul for all my new life because I couldn’t afford rent—let alone own my own house! You think I don’t want my own place?! You think I don’t crave my own space?! I think of ways to make money every day! And you, you bastard, are thinking of what? Ending the world?!
"Ending what world, you cockroach?! What world?!"
Each word was lashed out with the harvest of an eye. At the final statement, he smashed Koll’s chest at the end of each question.
