Chapter 1136 - 661: Life Avatar and Undead Squad (2)
...
Gaia World, Danerluo Port,
The players who had just returned from the [Swamp Lizard Man Nest] did not continue into other small worlds, but instead dispersed for a brief rest.
On one hand, players needed to submit tasks to receive rewards and replenish the materials consumed in the war;
On the other hand, it was to review the task, especially for those players from the professional guilds.
For the players, although the task in the small world of the [Swamp Lizard Man Nest] was completed thanks to Lis’s intervention, it undoubtedly diminished the final rewards.
Even so, the rewards the players received were more than those who entered other small worlds.
This is the advantage of joining the White Dove Chamber of Commerce and Kane Floating City.
However, after this event, the players suddenly realized that they had somewhat underestimated the natives in the small worlds.
Just like this time, the gold street Lizardman Warrior Jasper almost wiped out all the players.
That’s really a bit too outrageous!
However, it was an irresistible force; in the end, Lis subdued Jasper, but for the players, it was still a near miss.
They couldn’t succeed in bringing the first kill of the golden street boss to the Huaxia District.
This also sparked discussions on the player forums.
The situation is now very clear, around the [Phillips Crystal], new small world portals could open at any time.
Each small world has players entering, and among these, many small worlds have natives stronger than the [Swamp Lizard Man Nest].
Players have suffered a lot.
They realized that solo play is not suitable for the gameplay of small worlds in version 3.0.
However, fighting as a player guild collective would significantly slow down the entry into small world exploration.
For now, it’s okay; currently, the opened small worlds are solely competitive among Huaxia District players.
But everyone knows very well that since the 3.0 version will open up a global war mode, small worlds connecting to other servers are bound to open up.
At that time, it would be embarrassing if they lost to players from other servers!
After all, for players in the Huaxia District, not getting first means failure.
So many players spontaneously started discussing combat methods for subsequent small world exploration.
In fact, on the battlefield of the [Swamp Lizard Man Nest], it was verified that a player team of five to ten is the most suitable configuration.
The combination of professions like warrior, thief, priest, and spellcasters can effectively handle different battle scenarios, while not being too cumbersome and easily targeted by enemies.
This kind of team is most suitable for the current small world exploration.
But players also realized a problem, which is that this team mode has not been supported by the game system.
In fact, the Divine Revelation game currently only supports temporary team modes; if a player goes offline, they directly exit the team.
Forming such teams each time is quite troublesome.
However, there is no solution so far.
After all, the Divine Revelation game is different from other games, as it has not introduced a normal guild system, nor does it have guild alliances or guild bases functions.
This is indeed a bit troublesome for players.
At this point, the White Dove Chamber of Commerce’s new announcement was pinned to the top of the game forums.
-----------------
[White Dove Chamber of Commerce Announcement: Formation of Undead Squads
Content: Through the final battle of the [Swamp Lizard Man Nest], Guild Leader Lis Kain noticed the current guild’s inadequate management of the undead members, which led to local losses on the battlefield. To prevent similar situations and promote small world expansion, the White Dove Chamber of Commerce plans to form undead squads
Formation requirements: A number of undead players above level 50 greater than or equal to 5 can activate the [Undead Squad] in the White Dove Chamber of Commerce module interface (squad players must have White Dove Commerce Member status)
Appendix:
One, players who successfully form undead squads can receive a fixed salary from the White Dove Chamber of Commerce based on squad levels, and higher-level squads will receive greater discounts at the White Dove Commerce store
(Current undead squad levels: Bronze (low, middle, high), Silver (low, middle, high), Gold (low, middle, high), Legend)
Two, the formed undead squads can take on different exclusive tasks (exploration, combat, collection, etc., exclusive to undead squads), and different types of tasks can receive support from the White Dove Chamber of Commerce
Three, to maintain the security of the White Dove Chamber of Commerce and Kane Floating City’s small world exploration, a special warfare store is opened to the undead squad members (Store Directory (Fold/Open))
....]
The content of the White Dove Chamber of Commerce’s new announcement was long, but players quickly understood its meaning and became excited.
Isn’t this just allowing players to overcome the current dilemma and form fixed combat squads?
The so-called undead squads even have no limit on the number of members.
This is Lis supporting players in freely forming small groups!
This is most suitable for players, especially the managers of professional player guilds.
For them, supporting the guild’s professional teams and players is the most important work.
However, due to the special nature of the Divine Revelation game, forming guilds in the game has been quite troublesome for them.
They could only use real-world communication to coordinate guild activities.
But through the White Dove Chamber of Commerce’s undead squad mode, they can form squads to connect guild members in the game.
This provides quite a convenience for the guild’s centralized actions.
For solo players, the undead squad mode is also quite convenient.
Everyone has a few gaming friends, right? Forming a squad lets them not have to constantly check the friends list to see who’s online.
Anyway, the White Dove Chamber of Commerce’s undead squad doesn’t have any restrictions and allows taking on more rewarding exclusive tasks, why not?
Plus, they can receive full support from the White Dove Chamber of Commerce.
The special warfare store newly opened by the White Dove Chamber of Commerce includes items for otherworld exploration and combat.
For example, special equipment sets, various potions, exploration magic items, etc., which can be purchased with exploration contribution points.
According to the introduction, players can submit information and extraordinary resources from the otherworld to the White Dove Chamber of Commerce to gain exploration contribution points.
What really caught the players’ attention was the item in the special warfare store requiring one billion exploration contribution points: [Kane Floating City Cross-Realm Bombardment (one-time)]!
Jeez, could this directly annihilate a small world?
Overall, the undead squad mode launched by the White Dove Chamber of Commerce is quite appealing to players.
In addition to players already in the White Dove Chamber of Commerce, others joined the guild after seeing this announcement.
Just to gain the qualification to form undead squads.
For Lis, having players form undead squads posed no loss at all.
Although it would significantly increase the players’ independence, making it harder for Lis to guide them, these were minor issues.
After all, as players’ strength grows, Lis cannot indefinitely leverage rewards to keep them engaged.
With this new mode, Lis can make players more reliant on the White Dove Chamber of Commerce.
Once players get accustomed to gaming through undead squads, getting them to leave would have them clinging to Lis unwilling to go.
In the end, as long as players are accustomed to staying within the White Dove Chamber of Commerce, quietly being harvested by Lis is enough.
This was something Lis was preparing for long before the 3.0 version opened.
However, the effectiveness of the undead squads exceeded Lis’s expectations.
Many players eagerly grouped others into small world explorations, bringing back plenty of extraordinary resources for Lis.
...
On the Pearl Sea, on a deserted uninhabited island,
a blood-red figure appeared, casually surveying the scenery around.
"Holmes, you’re late!"
