Chapter 1116 - 651: World’s Son (Part 2)
Ymir hurriedly asked.
To know, every adult Mountain Giant is a Commander Level stronghold, and even beings on the same level find it hard to break their defense.
"Those Mountain Giants have been captured by the Humans..."
Gwo said word by word, and if he hadn’t seen it with his own eyes, he wouldn’t have believed such a thing.
"How is that possible, do those Humans have such power?"
Originally silent, Jasper spoke up and asked.
During his travels, he naturally visited the territory of the Mountain Giants, but was beaten by them to the point he fled miserably.
He had a very deep impression of the Mountain Giants’ strength.
And although those Humans were not as weak as the Human villages on the eastern side of the Great Forest, they still couldn’t be a match for the Mountain Giants, could they?
"That’s the fact."
Gwo said solemnly:
"That Human camp seems to have been established not long ago, but there are already many people in the camp, and the entire Big Stone Mountain has been enclosed by them; I saw at least a few thousand people..."
"If I didn’t feel wrong, those Humans... seem to all possess Commander Level strength."
Gwo couldn’t believe it, but still said it word by word.
Upon hearing this, Ymir quickly stood up and said sharply:
"Impossible, you must have seen it wrong."
"Thousands of Commanders, how can that be real?"
"Even the entire Isaac Great Forest doesn’t have so many Commander strongholds!"
Upon hearing this, even Jasper couldn’t believe it.
The vastness of the Great Forest housed countless races, but Commander Level strongholds weren’t that common.
In the strongest Claw Tribe and Green Eyes Tribe of the Isaac Great Forest, there are only about a hundred Commanders in each tribe.
How could an unheard-of Human have such strength?
"I couldn’t believe it either, so I went to find Chichi and Bert, and we went to Big Stone Mountain again together."
"But the conclusion was the same as before; there were even more Humans present."
"We noticed at the top of Big Stone Mountain, there seemed to be a strange passageway, with Humans occasionally emerging from it."
"Moreover, these Humans were generally young adults, without any elderly or children."
"We guess that this so-called Human race couldn’t be that strong, all Humans possessing Commander level strength, but rather they have simply sent their soldiers... "
Gwo spoke slowly, his expression extremely grave.
This wasn’t good news, as it meant those Humans’ strength far exceeded their imagination.
Each soldier having Commander level strength indeed was powerful enough to conquer the Isaac Great Forest.
"With such strength, they definitely won’t just stay in Big Stone Mountain."
"Sooner or later, they will start a war!"
Bert looked at Ymir and Jasper, gritting his teeth and said word by word:
"Unless we accept their terms, this war is unavoidable!"
"The messenger they previously sent likely was to test us."
Faced with this situation, Ymir shook his head.
Although he still couldn’t believe it, reason told him it was very likely true.
After all, these tribal leaders of the Lizardmen Tribe were his old friends and wouldn’t team up to deceive him.
Moreover, Jasper had already become a Hero, so what use was a trick like this?
He had previously seen those Humans from afar and indeed felt something was off.
"What should we do then?"
Ymir looked at the people around him, his thick tail flicking restlessly.
"Join forces, we can only join forces!"
"It’s not just our few tribes, other tribes in the forest must unite as well."
Aus looked at Ymir earnestly and said:
"Now it seems clear, in terms of strength we are definitely no match for those Humans, solo battles have no hope."
"Moreover, I don’t think those Humans’ target is only us Lizardmen, it’s very likely there are other races."
"If we join forces, coupled with Jasper who has become a Hero, we still have hope!"
"This..."
Ymir fell silent, turning to glance at Jasper.
The news today was too shocking for him, making it hard to accept.
Originally thinking of uniting other Lizardmen Tribes to conquer the Isaac Great Forest, now being told the tribe would face an extremely powerful enemy, the chances of winning were low.
This huge contrast made Ymir very uncomfortable.
Even if his brother Jasper had achieved heroism, facing thousands of Commander Level enemies, he wouldn’t stand a chance.
Even if he fought quick, he’d be exhausted to death!
Jasper looked at Ymir beside him, then stood up, looking at the others, and said:
"I understand your intentions."
"If this issue is true, then let’s proceed accordingly."
"The Isaac Great Forest is our home, surely we can’t just give it up to those Humans!"
"I think, perhaps it was to protect our home that I broke through to become a Hero, right?"
"In any case, this is something we absolutely cannot compromise on!"
The other tribal leaders of the Lizardmen raised their heads and looked at Jasper.
For some reason, feeling the powerful aura and firm confidence from Jasper, the fear that had risen in their hearts after witnessing those Humans’ formidable strength vanished, and the courage to defend their homeland surged instantly.
Jasper looked down at the tribal leaders before him and continued:
"Gathering warriors and joining other tribes is up to you."
"I plan to go to Big Stone Mountain and see what the situation is there."
"Understood."
The Lizardmen tribal leaders had no objections to Jasper’s arrangement and immediately got up and left the room.
"Have you really made up your mind?"
With only Jasper and Ymir left in the room, Ymir looked at his brother and said softly:
"If what they say is true, then the other side might also have Heroes."
"Thousands of Commanders, it’s something I never dared to imagine."
Ymir sighed and patted Jasper, saying.
"No matter what, surrendering without doing anything, I’m not willing to do that!"
"Even if it means death?"
"Even if it means death!"
"Alright!"
Ymir nodded in relief and said:
"Indeed, you’re more suited to be the clan leader!"
"Alright, big brother, let’s not talk about this anymore."
Jasper said with a bitter smile, then headed towards the door.
When he arrived at the village entrance, he saw a figure standing there waiting for him.
Jasper knew this person well, for this one had been present during the meeting.
It was the Kuxue High Priest of the Long-tailed Tribe.
Compared to typical Lizardmen, this one’s stature was very small, only reaching Jasper’s chest, and was completely cloaked in a rain cape made of straw, giving no clues as to what they looked like.
"Kuxue High Priest, were you waiting for me?"
Jasper looked at Kuxue before him and nodded in inquiry.
"Yes, Hero Jasper."
The straw-enveloped Lizardman nodded, speaking in a melodious voice:
"I wish to speak with you, is that okay?"
"No problem."
Curious, Jasper nodded.
Was this High Priest indeed female?
For the Lizardmen Tribe, the High Priest had always been the leader of the Long-tailed Tribe, bearing the responsibility of guiding all Lizardmen at critical times.
Previous Lizardman Heroes had also received help from the Lizardman High Priest.
Thus, the High Priest held a very prestigious status among the Lizardmen, and there were even rumors that the High Priest could wield very mystical powers.
The two arrived at a quiet place, Jasper looked at Kuxue and asked:
"High Priest, what did you want to discuss?"
"Yes, Hero Jasper."
Kuxue removed the straw cape, revealing her underneath which had pink skin unlike typical Lizardmen.
She looked at Jasper, speaking earnestly:
"My hero, this world needs you to save it!"
...
Meanwhile, in the sky above Jasper and Kuxue,
Lis gazed down at the two Lizardmen, nodded, and said:
"Finally found it, the World’s Son!"
