Chapter 1109 - 648: Opening of the Small World Passage
West of Danerluo Port, where the Phillips Crystal fell,
Morris wasn’t concerned; he was more interested in the Phillips Crystal before him.
He didn’t sense any danger from this colorless Crystal Stone, but for some reason, he had a premonition that this was what the God of Dawn’s oracle mentioned.
A Crystal Stone, is there anything magical about it?
Morris didn’t rashly touch the Phillips Crystal before him but instead observed it carefully.
After hearing Lis’s words, Morris curiously asked:
"Lis, do you mean this Crystal Stone contains special Space Power?"
Lis nodded and said,
"Indeed, it does. This Space Power is quite special; I’ve never seen anything like it."
"There are no related records in the Magic Book that Mr. Stephens gave me either."
"Is that so..."
Morris fell silent, and his gaze toward the Phillips Crystal became more cautious.
As an ally, Morris naturally trusted what Lis said.
However, what Lis said next made him feel uneasy. The Space Power that even the Judgement Flame Stephens had not understood couldn’t be simple, right?
The scene fell into silence; neither Lis nor Morris spoke.
Joyce and Risa appeared nearby, standing quietly there.
While the Elf Legend Rosde from the Elf Kingdom stood on the other side, his expression relatively more solemn.
He had just contacted the Elf Kingdom, and the meteor that fell on Danerluo Port was one of the three that landed on the Fanor Continent.
The other meteor fell in the west where the Elf Forest and the Human Kingdom meet, destroying a small section of the forest.
Thanks to Lis’s warning, the Elf Kingdom had prepared in advance.
It didn’t cause too much loss.
However, the Elf Kingdom also hadn’t figured out what exactly these meteors were or what effects they had.
But for some reason, when Rosde saw this Phillips Crystal, he always felt a storm was brewing.
Thinking of the recent predicament of the Elf Royal Court, Rosde always felt an invisible pressure on him.
Rosde fell silent for a moment, then sighed as he looked at Lis.
With the World Tree Favored here, all he had to do was follow orders.
Rosde thought to himself mockingly.
Whether it was the destruction of the Elf Royal Court or Lis’s previous escape from Demogorgon in the Abyss Plane Fragment, it was all unimaginable to Rosde.
If it were him, he might have long since had no place for burial, right?
In Rosde’s eyes, Lis seemed to have a sense of destiny.
Perhaps this is the guidance given to us by the ancestor, World Tree Yggdrasil?
Rosde shook his head slightly and stopped thinking about it.
Just protect Lis, no need to think about anything else.
On the other side, Joyce and Risa didn’t think that much.
Although they were also curious about the Phillips Crystal, Joyce and Risa trusted Lis’s judgment more.
...
"No need to wait long."
Lis broke the silence and said.
"Lis, what do you mean?"
Morris turned his gaze back to Lis from the Phillips Crystal.
"The Space Power within this Crystal Stone is continuously surging out; we’ll soon know what will happen."
"I see~"
Morris nodded and continued to watch the Phillips Crystal below.
...
After the meteor fell, players, upon recovering from the shocking scene, rushed towards the meteor’s landing site.
This included the members of Embers of the Fire, who headed out of Danerluo Port City along with the crowd.
Of course, most of those heading towards the direction where the meteor fell were players, with only a few being daring adventurers.
This was due to the terrifying scene when the meteor just fell, which the residents and adventurers of Danerluo Port witnessed.
Even adventurers knew there might be extremely terrifying danger hidden within.
Adventurers enjoy the fun of adventure, not courting death.
In a situation where nothing is clear, adventurers remain cautious.
Conversely, players do not have such concerns.
For them, dying is the most efficient way to get information about the situation.
And besides, with the version just starting, players could no longer contain their curiosity about the 3.0 main storyline.
The meteor’s landing position was still a considerable distance from Danerluo Port; by the time players ran into the wilderness, their stamina bars were depleted.
When they arrived at the wasteland, they directly saw the massive meteor crater and the scene ravaged by the meteor’s shockwave.
It was quite terrifying...
The players, looking at the meteor crater as if a huge chunk of the wasteland had been dug out, were somewhat shocked.
Players stood in front of the meteor crater, able to see the five figures below.
Many players stood by the meteor crater; although they saw Lis there, they also wanted to try approaching the fallen meteor.
That could very well be the key to unlocking the main storyline mission!
However, just as players wanted to approach, they suddenly found what seemed to be an air wall appearing in front of them, separating them from the meteor crater.
No matter how the players tried, even attacking, they couldn’t move forward at all.
Lis glanced at the players above the meteor crater, jumping around like monkeys, without paying too much attention.
