"Life and Death Battle for the Team, He’s Actually Selling Shoes?"
"The Ultimate Shameless Act! Such a Player is the Shame of the Club!"
"Ruining the Team Atmosphere! This Time Lu Yang Really Made a Mistake!"
Fans accuse Sotu of being "PR-ed," mostly as a joke.
But some media accusations toward Lu Yang are serious and direct.
Because, in the second half of the San Remo VS Inter match, Lu Yang directly left the stadium and headed to his own LY7 flagship store in Milan.
At that time, he was at least two hours ahead of his original plan.
Even so, there were still over a thousand fans gathered there, watching the match via the large screen outside the flagship store.
As they watched, Lu Yang appeared.
The commotion was, needless to say, sensational.
It’s said that before the event started, that day’s Luzzy750s were already completely sold out.
Lu Yang, on site, expressed his displeasure, and directly asked the store owner: "Do we have any stock left in the store?"
The store owner shrugged: "President Lu, there’s really none left, we’re out globally right now. The only hundred-plus pairs in the store are reserved for next month’s event..."
"What? There’s still over a hundred pairs?" Lu Yang shouted into the microphone, standing among the fans, "I’m here today, how can I let everyone leave without buying shoes?"
"Bring out all the hundred-plus pairs planned for next month!"
"President Lu, we can’t do that!" The store owner protested painfully.
"Do it! I’ll figure something out next month! I can even get the stock adjusted from China!" Lu Yang was extremely suave and asked, "What’s the launch price of this shoe right now?"
The store owner said: "Three hundred sixty euros."
Lu Yang said: "Since I’m here today, can we give everyone a discount?"
Store owner: "This model doesn’t have any discounts, even in the second-hand market, you’d have to pay over a hundred euros more."
Lu Yang: "I don’t care about any second-hand market, we at LY7 value our direct purchasers, they are our primary supporters, without them, there wouldn’t be Lu Yang, nor would there be LY7 this store!"
"Discount, there must be a discount, if you don’t give it, I will give it!"
The store owner was on the verge of tears: "Three hundred fifty euros?"
Lu Yang gave a look indicating he had offered a chance, holding out one finger and said: "One hundred euros off!"
"We can’t, President Lu! If we do that, there’s no profit for us!" The store owner was distressed.
The surrounding fans erupted in excitement.
Really?
Directly a hundred euros off?
This... Brother Lu is generous!
"Seems not quite right." Lu Yang hesitated.
The fans suddenly panicked.
No way?
Brother Lu, you’re so decisive on the field, shooting without hesitation.
You’re also so lavish in China, easily spending tens of millions.
How come for us Italian fans, you wouldn’t part with a hundred euros?
Brother Lu, your strong and majestic image in our hearts must not crumble like this.
There were also non-fans of Lu Yang watching the spectacle, ready to start laughing one by one.
Lu Yang, just like that.
This guy is just good at boasting, when it comes to money, doesn’t he act like a coward?
"Two hundred fifty is considered unlucky in China, so how about this, two hundred thirty-three euros! Today, this shoe sells for 233 only!" Lu Yang said into the microphone, "Today LY7 makes no profit, just making friends with everyone!"
"I, Lu Yang, am supported by fans to make it to today, I can’t promise every fan can afford this shoe’s future price, but wherever I am, fans must get the most affordable price!"
"Fans who already bought the shoes before today, just take the packaging box to the store and get your money back! Today, it’s all 233!"
Boom!
Thunderous applause erupted at the scene, even more exaggerated than the applause from the nearby San Siro stadium.
This event was extremely successful, creating a strong promotional effect among those willing to buy shoes.
On one hand, Lu Yang himself was present at the event.
On the other hand, it was Lu Yang’s heartfelt appreciation.
Italian fans found out that the price of this shoe is very firm globally, even in China without a single cent of discount.
Only the Milan fans participating in this event could enjoy a price of 233 euros.
Brother Lu is righteous!
Brother Lu is really willing to spend his own money to give welfare to everyone!
Where can you find someone like Brother Lu?
For a time, limited edition, monkey business, high price, making friends... all kinds of future e-commerce tactics, Lu Yang went through them all.
How can the effect not be good?
Lu Yang swore he would only do this kind of unscrupulous thing at the initial establishment of the LY7 brand.
Once LY7 truly stands firm, he will conduct diversified product design, striving to allow fans all over the world to afford their shoes.
To achieve this grand goal, support from some capable fans is indeed needed initially.
This is truly the rich helping the poor become rich.
It’s different from those companies that keep raising price limits once their brand is strong without considering grassroots users.
Originally, Lu Yang’s move was limited to Milan here, at most spreading a little outside.
But when the media exposed that Lu Yang left the stadium and went to the flagship store to hold the event, for a time, all of Italy was discussing Lu Yang’s professionalism.
Even because of Lu Yang’s high popularity in the football circle, the matter spread throughout Europe.
Many media earned significant views, and frantically criticized Lu Yang.
But many business moguls enviously watched Luzzy750’s sales soar, turning traffic into sales, and nine thousand pairs of sneakers sold out instantly.
LY7 had to release a new round of pre-sale, thirty thousand pairs of sneakers, available globally for pre-order.
