And when the prestige of the shoe brand is firmly established, the sneaker resellers no longer benefit much.
Essentially, sneaker resellers are spontaneous salespeople.
When a brand establishes a tone and has countless supporters and pricing power, the time between these two stages is when resellers survive and strike it rich.
It’s not just sneaker resellers, a lot of resellers operate this way.
The manufacturers who can make good use of them will achieve success. Right, Houmi?
Luzzy750 became an overnight sensation, and although many are still on the fence, the act of waiting and seeing means your gaze has already been drawn to it.
In this situation, Lu Yang’s standing in the team and his contacts in the football world play a huge role.
September 20th, training day for San Remo.
Reporters noticed that when the players headed to the field, they were all wearing gray Luzzy750s.
Human vision has a self-protection function and can dull over time.
No matter how ugly something is, if you look at it long enough and consistently, you’ll find it acceptable or even good-looking.
Lu Yang gave the sneakers to his teammates, how could they dare not wear them?
The more people wear them, the more they are seen, and visually, people start to like them.
On another level, since those who wear them are stars, it elevates the item’s status, doesn’t it?
I wear the same style as Beckham!
Isn’t that cool?
Using shoes is a just need.
When those needs align with your interests or idols, there’s nothing better.
Basketball in this regard does very well.
But football falls short.
Because...basketball shoes can be worn to work, while football shoes are only for playing.
Just like a bikini, the professionalism and applicability create a barrier too distinct from ordinary similar products. So wearing a bikini when not swimming would either make people think you’re mad, or too wild.
Football shoes endorsed by football players rarely outsell basketball shoes endorsed by equivalent basketball players.
But that’s not due to a lack of influence from football stars; it’s a shoe issue.
If you get a football player with enough influence to endorse other shoes, their sales will surpass those of endorsing football shoes!
So when a bunch of stars wear football shoes, it simply attracts football fans to buy the same style. But when they wear casual shoes suitable for any occasion, even more non-football-playing fans will buy them.
And...it’s not just San Remo.
Carrel and Versachi from Florence, Perrotta, Drake, Ameluci, Becher’s from Rome, Sogel, Praxedes, Andrés from AC Milan, and even Ancelotti, Audi, Kolber from Juventus are all wearing them.
Awesome, my Lu!
Luzzy750 has thoroughly made its presence felt in Italy.
Many well-off fans have already opted in to order them.
So much so that before the next day’s match, reporters were already asking Inter Milan players their opinions on these shoes.
In the fifth round of Serie A, San Remo plays away against Inter Milan!
Talista, returning to Meazza!
"Stop asking me about the shoes, I don’t get aesthetics, I’m not interested in things like that." Finger, during an interview, didn’t show any courtesy to national teammate Lu Yang, "Right now, all I can think about is defeating that traitor."
"He betrayed Inter, our fans will tear him apart! And we players will defend Inter Milan’s honor with a victory!"
After Finger spoke, the crowd echoed, and many onlooking fans let out joyous screams.
Inter Milan will win!
Talista must perish!
Soon, San Remo’s bus arrived too.
Players got off, and pairs of Luzzy750s took center stage.
And unsurprisingly, the player surrounded by reporters was Talista.
"Did you see what Finger said? He said he would tear you apart, on and off the pitch." The reporters provoked.
Talista exuded true superstar demeanor, calmly standing his ground, even taking the initiative to grab a small microphone and speaking with gravity: "I conquered here before, and I know the true fighting power of this team inside out."
"Without me, they’re nothing to talk about!"
"Furthermore, together with me, San Remo is like a tiger that has grown wings!"
"Today, besides taking the three points, our most important mission is...to kill Inter!"
"Si Gen’Er!"
