"Lu Yang’s form is recovering, those two goals gave him a big boost."
"Sometimes psychological suggestions are crucial for players."
The commentators are eagerly anticipating Lu Yang to score again.
This stance might be a bit unfair to Sassuolo.
But right now, if you ask Sassuolo fans, how many of them are hoping to see Lu Yang score another goal, to see him smack the Golden Ball Award in the face?
It’s not that they don’t love Sassuolo enough.
In other words, when you always involve love for the fans and stances, it gets a bit ridiculous.
Aside from great national causes, stance itself is constantly changing.
So if you want Lu Yang to score, you’re not a Sassuolo fan?
Then saying you don’t want Lu Yang to score means you’re not an Italy fan!
Interest, interest, sometimes something piques your interest, and you temporarily set aside what you used to do, it’s quite normal.
When you cry, someone teases you to laugh, and you still laugh, but does that prove you’re not sad?
Clearly not.
But ironically, in the 58th minute, Lu Yang created a free-kick opportunity.
It’s within his shooting range.
However, this free-kick went high, flying into the stands.
The wet football obviously still affected Lu Yang.
His form doesn’t seem to have recovered.
The 2-2 match continued until the 83rd minute.
Even when San Remo made three substitutes in the 75th minute, they still couldn’t break the deadlock.
From the 80th minute onwards, Sassuolo fans returned.
They started cheering for the home team, boosting their spirits.
You see, the fans are smart.
Earlier, they hoped to see Lu Yang score out of curiosity, but at crucial moments, of course, they support their team’s victory.
Such cheers gave Sassuolo players strength.
Sassuolo’s midfielder rushed over and made a sliding tackle on the ball-carrying Lu Yang.
Lu Yang quickly dodged, the ball was kicked out to the sidelines.
The opponent got up with high spirits and glared at Lu Yang.
It’s as if saying, you’re impressive, but you want a goal, try next game.
We Sassuolo are not pushovers.
Upon seeing this, Morici took the initiative to prepare to throw the ball in.
But Lu Yang refused.
"Let me throw it, you stay in the flank." Lu Yang said, pushing Morici aside, then shouted to his teammates in the penalty area, "Talista, get ready to receive, I’ll throw it directly in!"
While saying this, Lu Yang desperately used his clothes to wipe the water off the soccer ball.
But it didn’t help much since his clothes were drenched in sweat, wet wiping wet was still wet.
After Lu Yang shouted, the Sassuolo penalty area obviously became crowded.
Substitutes Delarre, Moriba, and Fernandez all squeezed into the penalty area.
"Oh! Lu Yang’s preparing a grenade throw-in? This is his unique skill; he can throw the ball far, sometimes unexpectedly impactful."
The commentator is quite familiar with Lu Yang’s past when he used to perform grenade throw-ins; done right, it can directly assist.
Lu Yang held the ball, started backing away, raised his arms over his head, then began to run.
Power up!
Whoosh!
The ball flew towards Sassuolo’s penalty area.
Though the speed wasn’t fast, the height and distance were impressive.
This powerful throw was almost like tossing a bomb.
"It’s my first time seeing someone throw a ball from the sideline into the middle of the penalty box!"
"Not just that, it’s still flying!"
"It’s flown into the small penalty area!"
"Will it reach the far post?"
"Nobody got the header, the ball was a bit high! Talista was blocked, couldn’t jump!"
"Wait! This ball!"
"Damn! This ball might fly directly into the goal!"
"Damn, damn, damn!"
A few seconds later, the main referee blew the whistle, indicating the goal was valid.
However, the whole audience, whether home or visiting fans, mostly remained bewildered.
It was a goal!
Yes, Lu Yang scored!
Thrown in by hand!
What’s the deal with this?
Can this count?
Soon, experts began explaining to the fans.
A hand-thrown throw-in goal can’t count as a goal, it must be retaken or something.
But the key here is that before the ball went into the goal, Sassuolo’s goalkeeper tried to scoop it.
Though he didn’t retrieve it, he did touch the ball.
From that moment onward, if the ball scores, there’s no issue.
And the goal indeed occurred after this contact.
Thus...
This goal indeed has no problem.
Even, because the path of this goal before the goalkeeper’s touch was inside the goal, it doesn’t count as a goalkeeper’s own goal, but as Lu Yang scoring.
As a result, the first-ever attacking player’s hand ball goal was born.
This is entirely different from the "Hand of God."
The Hand of God is essentially an offensive foul, not supposed to be counted as a goal.
But Lu Yang’s throw-in this time is reasonably and even legally a goal.
A hat trick just came unexpectedly.
San Remo leads 3-2!
Lu Yang’s 20th Serie A goal quietly arrived.
But the bizarre nature of this goal made everyone who was anticipating this moment worldwide puzzled.
Everyone thought they’d be excitedly celebrating when this goal arrived, but unexpectedly, most people just touched their head, whether poor or wealthy, and said, Damn!
