Chapter 1023 - 962: Complex Lilim
The condition for starting the Lilim Camp is that in some unknown corner of this world, a player successfully kills a Lilim, and then the Lilim’s soul is successfully summoned to the camp in another corner of the world! What a coincidental surprise!
No time to think further, as Da Fei hurriedly headed towards the camp, he happened to run into Hilda, who moved quickly upon hearing the news.
Hilda laughed heartily: "Lord City Lord, the Lilim Camp is in effect! Let’s quickly take a look at this Lilim!"
Da Fei nodded excitedly: "Great, great, great!"
However, amidst the excitement, Da Fei couldn’t help but feel a headache; the camp being in effect meant there would be fees, and heaven knows how much this camp costs? Certainly over a million, the question is whether it’s one million or two million.
When Da Fei and Hilda arrived at the camp, Deirdre was already waiting inside: "Welcome, my lord, welcome Miss Hilda! Please look—" She said, pointing to a mound of golden-red flames within the summoning array of the camp.
Da Fei certainly knew this was not flames, this was the soul of Lilim, and Da Fei couldn’t wait to check its attribute:
——Lilim’s Soul: Spiritual Body state, special skill: Basic Divine Demon Bloodline. Recruitment condition: A maximum of 124 units of random resources.
——Basic Divine Demon Bloodline: Lilim’s Soul recovers 1% of life and mana per second by self-healing.
Staring at the flickering flame in front of him, looking at these two brief lines of introduction, Da Fei remained silent for a long time! Is this the legendary Lilim? I can’t quite understand it! Is this random resource recruitment the same as when I encountered with the Anemone King back on the Newbie Island?
Da Fei hastily asked: "What does the recruitment condition of a maximum of 124 units of random resource mean?"
Hilda said in a deep voice: "Currently, the Lilim is in soul state without a body, Lord City Lord needs to invest up to 124 units of resources to reshape her body to recruit her. This is the limit of what her current soul strength can bear. Depending on the attribute of the resource, Lilim’s abilities will vary. However, regardless of the kind of Lilim, they will have the basic special skill of the Divine Demon Bloodline. And the Lilim with the Basic Divine Demon Bloodline should be considered the weakest Lilim, probably why our camp can recruit her so easily."
Da Fei nodded repeatedly in astonishment: "I see! So what resources should we use to recruit her?"
Hilda shook her head: "Low-level Lilim do not have a fixed form, if Lord City Lord uses 124 units of wood to recruit her, it is possible that the Lilim will appear in the form of a giant Tree Spirit. Using 124 units of stone is also feasible, at which point the Lilim might take the form of a giant Mountain Giant. Of course, if Lord City Lord is pursuing multiple attributes, blending stone, wood, crystals, gemstones and such is an option, but there’s a likelihood of failure. If it fails, the resources will be wasted, but Lilim’s Soul won’t be affected by the failure."
"By the way, if Lord City Lord does not wish to recruit a cumbersome large-type troop, then there is no need to invest 124 units of resources; generally speaking, investing 10 units of resources should result in a human-sized Lilim. The smaller the size of the Lilim, the more suitable she is for development towards the direction of magic species, but this also means less Life Value and it will be more challenging to leverage the recovery special skills of the Lilim race. All in all, this is a very weak Lilim’s Soul, Lord City Lord can try different resources on her to find the most suitable troop type for himself."
Listening to Hilda’s verbose introduction, Da Fei was once again shocked on the spot!
Wow! I had always thought my Angel Army was already the pinnacle of troop types, but compared to this freely complex kind of Lilim play, it’s clearly a notch lower! The problem is, this complexity is really giving me a headache!
Da Fei had to ask helplessly: "Why does Lilim have no fixed form? Isn’t the form of Lilim supposed to be between an Angel and a Banshee?"
Hilda shook her head seriously: "Unfortunately, Lord City Lord is referring to high-level Lilim, but this low-level Lilim — does Lord City Lord want to know their origins?"
"Please tell me."
Hilda sighed: "This relates to the issue of Lilith’s approach and attitude. Lilith was designated by God as the first wife for Human Ancestor Adam. As an outstanding Angel, Lilith looked down upon Adam, who was created from clay. Of course, back then, many famous Angels like Lucifer, Azazel also looked down on Adam. Azazel even made the famous statement ’How can a child of fire serve a child of clay’, and refused to recognize Adam’s status as Son of God. As for Lilith, she directly fled from heaven to the earth’s realm, and then —"
Da Fei’s eyebrows jumped; here comes the juicy part! So, albeit knowing, he pretended to ask: "And then?"
Hilda sighed: "Then Lilith cavorted daily with various beasts and demons, she was telling Adam that even being with beasts and demons was more noble than being with clay. And Lilith had astonishing reproductive abilities, every day she bore a hundred offspring from confluences with beasts and demons. God specifically dispatched three Angels to slay Lilith’s offspring day and night. Although most species went extinct, some offspring still evaded pursuit and continued to survive tenaciously on the Divine Demon Bloodline granted by Lilith. The Lilim Lord City Lord is recruiting must be low-level beast descendants."
Uh, although Da Fei had already guessed the plot of the juicy part with a dirty mind, it was still hard to accept that the camp’s first troop turned out to be low-level beast descendants. This feeling is quite a bummer.
Da Fei sighed deeply: "So, does this mean that once this Lilim is recruited, it might not be able to fly?"
Hilda sighed: "It depends on luck."
Da Fei couldn’t help feeling greatly disappointed: "It can’t fly, and it can’t be mass-produced. Compared to my Angel Army, what advantages does it even have?" Hmm, belittle the Lilim to suppress the camp’s price.
Hilda laughed: "Of course, it’s the growth potential! The growth potential of the Lilim species is beyond mortal imagination, not to mention the unparalleled recovery ability of Lilim, which is one of the reasons why even gods are helpless against them, hence the gods exiled a part of the Lilim to a place of exile for confinement. Overall, as long as Lord City Lord carefully nurtures it, even the weakest Lilim can grow into a remarkably powerful being."
Da Fei’s eyebrows jumped, a place of exile? Red Name Village! Wow, this Lilim must be the anomaly over there in Red Name Village, huh? I’ll ask Da Bing about it later!
At this moment, Deirdre also spoke: "Master, we have the Sea Soul Staff. As long as we refine Lilim’s Soul once with the Sea Soul Staff, Lilim will acquire the Ocean Creatures’ special skill. Our army isn’t weak in deck battles, air battles, and artillery battles, but we are still lacking for underwater battles. We need a strong underwater tank troop!"
Da Fei suddenly realized: "Naval battle Lilim, there’s potential!"
Hilda laughed: "Moreover, Lord City Lord also possesses special soldier training skills, which can be used for comprehensive training on this Lilim!"
Da Fei rejoiced: "Let’s do it this way!" (To be continued. If you enjoy this work, feel free to visit Qidian (qidian.com) and vote with recommendation and monthly tickets, your support is my greatest motivation. Mobile users, please read on m.qidian.com.)
