1077 Guidance
“The trial isn’t a big problem. Be careful when you work and try not to be discovered by the players. I think we don’t have to come into contact with the players directly. We can find ways to guide the players to help us.”
“Yes, yes, yes, we’ll guide them from the side.”
When it came to making money, Tang Mingyue’s brain worked quickly, and her potential was fully unleashed. She was full of energy. “I’ll use my identity as the Empire’s Princess to fool, ah, no, to guide…”
Mo Jiawei felt that the two of them were delusional and said, “The players aren’t stupid, right? How should we guide them?”
Fang Heng suddenly recalled the blueprint of the mage tower he had just seen in the Mage Association and squinted his eyes.
“What do you guys think of using the mage tower as an excuse?”
“Mage tower?”
“That’s right. We can use the mage tower as an excuse and promise the players benefits. We will get the players to prepare the building materials for the mage tower and send them to the Empire warehouse for later use.”
Fang Heng added, “I’ve seen the materials used to build the mage tower. One of them is a mixed black crystal. This crystal is unstable and will explode easily when it comes into contact with the fire element crystal core in the Empire warehouse. It’s also very powerful.”
“Ah! It’s feasible! Fang Heng is a genius!”
Tang Mingyue’s cheeks were flushed with excitement as she looked at Fang Heng with a burning gaze.
Waa!
This person was actually so greedy!
If it really went as smoothly as Fang Heng said…
This would be a big haul!
“Okay, let’s follow this plan,” Tang Mingyue replied. It was obvious that this was not the first time Tang Mingyue had done this. She looked at Fang Heng excitedly and asked, “By the way, how do we trick the players into coming here?”
In a short period of time, Fang Heng had perfected his hoodwinking plan.
“Let me think. Well, actually, we don’t need to trick all the players. We only need to trick some of them.”
“We will promise the player forces to help them build a mage tower, but we need them to provide some materials. The materials provided will be temporarily stored in the Empire’s warehouse. The players will never expect their materials to be used by us.”
“Amazing!” Tang Mingyue added, “In order to increase credibility, I can write a guarantee letter with my identity as the Empire’s Princess and write to them personally! With the Empire’s endorsement, the players will not suspect anything!”
Looking at Fang Heng and Tang Mingyue’s crazy plan that was gradually being perfected, Mo Jiawei’s heart was beating wildly.
It could really be played like this?
Who had the players offended? It was just a game and they had to be tricked by the two of them?
After thinking about it carefully, Mo Jiawei felt that if he was a player who did not know about the situation, he would definitely be deceived!
After all, the Empire’s Princess had endorsed the construction of the mage tower, and the materials needed were also given to the Empire for temporary safekeeping.
At first glance, there seemed to be no risk at all.
Scary… So this was the World Lord’s setup?
Mo Jiawei could not help but shiver.
Fang Heng and Tang Mingyue quickly made a decision and then roughly discussed the details.
In order to ensure the success rate of the operation, the two of them decided to immediately start thinking of ways to trick the players into investing. When they were almost done, they would carry out the explosion plan when the trial was almost over.
At that time, even if the robbery failed, they could find a way to quickly exit the trial game and run away to minimize the risk.
After sorting out his thoughts, Fang Heng found that there was still a problem to be solved.
After snatching the materials from the Empire, they had to find a place to store them, which was a little troublesome.
The place where the materials were hidden could not be too far away. After all, there were too many good things in the royal treasury. It would be difficult to bring so many treasures out after robbing.
Secondly, they also needed to ensure the safety and secrecy of the treasure’s hiding place.
After thinking about it, the two decided to take a break for now and think of a way to trick the players into preparing the materials.
After making her decision, Tang Mingyue excitedly pulled Fang Heng out of the treasury, ready to find some players to test the waters.
The three of them had just walked out of the Empire’s heavy warehouse when the guard outside the warehouse handed over a letter respectfully. “Your Highness Mingyue, please check and accept your letter.”
Tang Mingyue took the envelope with some dissatisfaction. After opening it, she gave it a cursory glance and her face fell.
“What’s wrong?”
“Wei Tao is looking for us. He wants us to gather at Griffin City. He has made a major discovery.”
Tang Mingyue couldn’t help sighing when she was suddenly interrupted in her money-making plan.
She looked at Fang Heng for help, “Fang Heng, what should we do?”
“Let’s go and find Wei Tao together.”
Fang Heng shrugged and said, “Don’t forget that we’re still in the trial. Only by digging out more missions can we get more time to stay. Stay alert. This is also for money.”
“You’re right,” Tang Mingyue said. She patted her cheeks and cheered herself up. “What about our plan to trick the players? Who to find? This matter can’t be delayed, we have to deal with this immediately…”
“Are there any players in your team that you can trust?”
Tang Mingyue waved her hands and said, “Don’t talk about it. None of the people on my team are reliable. They definitely can’t do such an important thing.”
Fang Heng thought for a while.
Mo Jiawei also had to follow the team and was unable to split himself up.
Qiu Yaokang was currently focused on research, and he might even join the team later. It was unlikely that he could fool the players.
As for Victor, he was an honest man, and it was difficult for him to fool people.
Only Sandy.
Although that guy was a time bomb in the team, he was very good at bluffing.
...
Letting Sandy do this might have a miraculous effect.
Moreover, Sandy was also an NPC, so no matter what, he would not be recognized by the players and would affect the game’s rating. It could be said that this was like exploiting a small bug in the game and reducing some of the risks.
He had no choice. He could not find anyone else, so he could only make do with it.
“Okay, leave this to me. I’ll find someone to trick the players. I need a letter written by you,” Fang Heng said after some thought.
“Okay, I’ll write it for you now.”
…
An hour later, at the griffins’ taming point in Griffin City.
Amidst the sounds, Wei Tao and the rest gathered together again.
Seeing that everyone had gathered on time, Wei Tao could not help but sigh.
It was not easy.
The first was to exchange information.
...
“I’ve found a shop with the Tianli Mercenary,” said Mikhael. “We’ve spent some money to bribe them into using it as our temporary stop.”
“Our people have just moved the spoils of war in, and Mr. Qiu has already started to study them.”
“We are also more or less aware of the situation in the city. The Empire is focusing on dealing with the invasion of the barbarians. The first batch of the Empire’s reinforcements has arrived at the main cities that are under attack. They should have already fought with the barbarians.”
Wei Tao nodded and then looked at the others and asked, “How’s the situation on your side?”
Fang Heng and Tang Mingyue looked at each other and shook their heads in unison, “We didn’t find anything.”
“Ahem, I followed the line of the murals on the coffin.”
Mo Jiawei felt an inexplicable pain in his balls when he heard Fang Heng’s answer.
He continued, “We can now confirm that the ancestor who founded the Empire, Andrast, once had a close relationship with the subterranean resident beasts we found in the catacombs. However, when I looked through the records, I found that the statements in the records are very vague. Some say that they are allies, some say that they are enemies, and some say that they are followers. No matter which one it is, it doesn’t seem very reliable.”
