1073 Guard
“Don’t panic. Use control-type spells to control it first!!”
His teammates fell one after another, and a layer of cold sweat seeped out of Duan Chengbin’s forehead as he loudly commanded.
The sudden appearance of the King Guard increased the pressure on him.
He could only rely on various negative spells to weaken it and then think of countermeasures to solve the problem.
Everything was under control!
“Boom Boom Boom!!”
A large number of control-type spells were thrown at the King Guard.
Unlike Fang Heng, the battle style of the King Guard was more fierce. It directly withstood the explosive magic damage and fought through them one by one.
In a short while, six players left the battlefield one after another.
Duan Chengbin glared at the King Guard.
The King Guard was also restricted and weakened by the negative effects of various spells. Its movement speed was also reduced.
It was considered stable.
All of a sudden, Duan Chengbin’s heart thumped violently. From the corner of his eyes, he saw a figure darting out of the black mist!
This was bad!
It was Fang Heng!
Fang Heng broke free of the spell’s restraint and dashed out of the aura of the death realm. He immediately dashed toward the nearest mage player.
The bone spear in his hand was thrust forward!
“Chi!!”
The mage watched helplessly as the white bone spear in Fang Heng’s hand swept across his face, leaving a bloody mark.
“Bang!!!”
A sharp pain came from his lower abdomen, and he was sent flying with a kick.
Fang Heng controlled the King Guard and they rushed into the group of mages from two directions to kill them.
He would start from the weak ones!
F*ck!!
Duan Chengbin cursed in his heart when he saw his teammates falling one after another.
Was Fang Heng’s combat mode learned from the undead skeletons?
Dealing with one King Guard was already the limit, and now they had to deal with two of them.
Were all necromancy mages monsters? And there had to be two such monsters!
In the blink of an eye, more than ten players were slaughtered by Fang Heng and the King Guard.
The mages’ attacks were unable to cause any effective damage to Fang Heng and the King Guard. Once they got close, they lost all hope and were killed almost instantly.
The opponent was clearly using the most basic undead skill, but his ability was so…
Duan Chengbin clenched his teeth tightly.
No, he was going to lose.
The difference in strength between the two sides was too great!
He had to use scrolls!
Go all out!
Boom!
Duan Chengbin made his decision and took out a scroll from his backpack.
“Gather the lightning!”
All of Duan Chengbin’s spiritual energy was instantly sucked out!
The purple light gathered at the tip of the staff.
An extremely faint blue shadow condensed behind Duan Chengbin, and the shadow made a posture of drawing a bow and shooting an arrow.
Whoosh!
The light blue arrow formed by the electric awns shot toward Fang Heng.
Fang Heng was rushing toward a mage player when he suddenly felt a sense of danger.
He quickly changed his target and stood still. He turned around to face the incoming arrow and formed a seal with his hands.
The dark Book of the Dead floated in front of Fang Heng.
“Bone wall!”
A huge wall of bones rose from the ground.
“Boom!”
In an instant, a three-meter-tall bone wall rose from the ground in front of Fang Heng!
That’s…
Duan Chengbin’s pupils contracted, and a hint of despair flashed through his eyes.
Bone barrier?
...
Randolf’s eyes were also full of surprise.
It was only an elementary skill of the undead element. An ordinary beginner necromancy mage would be able to summon a shield-sized barrier. However, Fang Heng could actually summon such a tall and thick bone barrier?
Could he be a master necromancy mage?
“BOOM!!!”
The lightning arrow exploded on the bone barrier!
A hint of disappointment and hatred flashed through Duan Chengbin’s eyes.
He didn’t hate Fang Heng, but he hated this stupid mission!
What a f*cking mission!
Not only did he fail the mission, he even lost a magic scroll and offended a powerful necromancy mage NPC!
What a huge loss!
The difficulty of this mission was only worth an A-level random reward?
...
He didn’t want the reward anymore!
“Swish!”
Fang Heng scuttled out from behind the exploded bone barrier and arrived in front of Duan Chengbin, throwing a punch forward.
Seeing that his opponent didn’t put up any resistance, Fang Heng loosened his fist a little.
“Bang!!!”
A shield appeared in front of Duan Chengbin.
Duan Chengbin was blasted out of the battle ring by a punch and flew backward.
“President Duan?”
Seeing that their leader had been defeated, the remaining players who were still holding on immediately cried out in their hearts.
The King Guard and Fang Heng wouldn’t give them a chance. They immediately chased after the remaining players.
In less than half a minute, the players in the battle circle either surrendered themselves or were directly thrown out of the battle circle by Fang Heng and the King Guard.
Only Fang Heng and the King Guard were left on the field.
Randolf looked around again and nodded, “Is there anyone else who wants to continue the challenge?”
For a moment, the square fell into a brief silence.
The mages couldn’t help but wonder what would happen if they went up to challenge it. Most people came to the same conclusion: They couldn’t win against Fang Heng.
Suddenly, the crowd opened up a path.
What’s going on…?
Nicole led a few Empire guards and hurriedly entered the crowd.
What was going on?
Did they start fighting just like that?
She had just returned to the City Lord’s castle to report and immediately received the news that Her Highness Mingyue urgently summoned Fang Heng.
Just as she was about to come and pick up Fang Heng, she heard the news that Fang Heng was fighting with the Mage Association and rushed over to check.
Seeing everyone’s dagger-drawn looks, Nicole felt inexplicable.
Nicole looked at Randolf and asked, “Mr. Randolf, Fang Heng is the distinguished guest of Her Highness Mingyue. He is a feudal lord who has just received his fief. May I ask if there is any misunderstanding?”
Most of the people in the square recognized Nicole.
She was one of the guards of Griffin City.
So, this necromancer was really the feudal lord?
The square was filled with soft discussions again.
Duan Chengbin was protected by Randolf’s magic shield. In fact, he was not in a bad condition and did not suffer many injuries. He had recovered his spiritual energy a little. However, when he heard Nicole’s words, his mood became even worse.
He had already known the identity of the feudal lord Fang Heng through the game’s prompts.
Now, he had offended a powerful feudal lord.
Shouldn’t he think of a way to apologize?
“Nicole, it was just a misunderstanding. I have just accepted Mr. Randolf’s assessment from the Mage Association and exchanged my experiences with the people from the Mage Association. I really cherish this opportunity.”
Fang Heng looked at Randolf and asked, “Mr. Randolf, I passed the assessment, right?”
Randolf glanced at the mages in the square again and asked, “Is there anyone else willing to take the challenge?”
Seeing that no one responded, Randolf replied gently, “Congratulations, young man. Your strength is amazing. I’ve already had someone make a copy of the blueprint you wanted. Please come with me to receive it.”
Under everyone’s gaze, Randolf brought Fang Heng back to the library.
