1056 Change
Tang Mingyue noticed that Wei Tao was winking at her. She pushed Tang Mo away and went straight to the point, asking, “You sent someone to follow me? The City Lord’s personal guards are your men.”
“This…don’t be angry.”
Tang Mo was at a loss for words.
Seeing Tang Mingyue’s questioning look, he was a little anxious and explained, “I’m worried about you, but you don’t let me follow you. Sigh, I can’t feel at ease, so I can only let someone follow you secretly.”
!!
F*ck…
So everything that happened in the past was a misunderstanding?
City Lord Brian’s men leaked her whereabouts but the person behind the scene was Tang Mo.
But Tang Mo didn’t have any malicious intentions towards them?
It seemed strange.
After thinking about it carefully, it still didn’t seem right.
In any case, the dozen or so guards behind Tang Mo were extraordinary.
That was a super strong combat power!
It was no wonder that the game would not give a mission that would definitely fail.
Tang Mo was likely to be the guide given by the mission to improve the strength of their team.
The three of them quickly communicated with their eyes.
As for Tang Mo’s identity, it wasn’t the most important thing at the moment.
The enemy was already at their doorstep, so they should hold on for as long as they could.
Even if Tang Mo had ulterior motives, he was a super combat power.
It was less than an hour before the barbarian attack on Hani City. They had to make some adjustments and deploy their forces.
Tang Mo’s strong participation greatly increased the confidence of Wei Tao’s team. Everyone was thinking about adjusting their tactics when several lines of game prompt appeared on the retinas of all the players participating in the trial.
[Hint: The player team has resisted the barbarian’s attack on the village.]
[Hint: The player has received an additional 5 hours of trial time.]
[Hint: Due to the player’s intervention, the leader of the barbarian army, Almonta, who attacked the Hani City area, has turned to attack the player’s village. The vanguard will attack the village in 60 minutes. Please be prepared to defend.]
[Hint: The barbarian’s attack on Hani City has been delayed. They will attack Hani City in 240 minutes.]
Delayed again?!
Fang Heng?!
What did he do?
Everyone couldn’t help but look at each other in surprise.
In other words, the trial system had closed the loophole on its own, and the barbarian leader directly went to find trouble with Fang Heng.
The good news was that Fang Heng managed to buy at least three more hours for Hani City.
However, what should they do about Fang Heng?
He might be in great danger.
They were already very surprised that Fang Heng could deal with several barbarian teams and remain undefeated. Now, he was facing the pressure of the entire barbarian army…
Few of them quickly communicated with their eyes.
“It’s too dangerous to let Fang Heng handle it alone.”
Wei Tao said in a low voice, “We have to find a way to get in touch with Fang Heng and ask him for help. We can’t waste the other three hours. We can’t let down the time Fang Heng has bought for us. Let’s try to find the remaining mission lines.”
…
In the village, the beasts outside the wall had already dispersed.
In order to collect more blood, Fang Heng issued an order to the zombie team to pursue the beasts.
The Empire guards were cooperating with Fang Heng’s zombie team to clean up the battlefield. The mages could finally catch their breath and sat on the sentry tower to meditate and rest.
Suddenly, Fang Heng received a game prompt that the leader of the barbarian army was about to attack the village.
Eh?
The barbarian leader, Almonta?!
Seeing the game prompt, Fang Heng’s heart moved. He raised his head and asked, “Everyone, have you heard of Almonta?”
Harper, who had fought the barbarians on the battlefield, nodded and said, “Yes, I have. Almonta is one of the leaders of the barbarian army. He is very powerful.”
“I’ve heard about Almonta. He can enter the Tier 3 demonized state. He once annihilated an entire human army by himself. He’s a very difficult opponent.”
Tier 3 state…
Fang Heng’s heart skipped a beat and he couldn’t help looking at the silver potion in his backpack.
They hadn’t even found a way to completely restrict the Tier 2 barbarians, and now there was a Tier 3.
The trial’s difficulty increased very quickly.
It was really difficult to deal with without some trump cards.
Hearing Fang Heng’s sudden question, Ma Xiaowan couldn’t help but feel uneasy.
“Mr. Fang, why are you asking this all of a sudden? Are there any changes?”
“It’s nothing,”
Fang Heng shook his head and looked into the distance. “Get ready for battle. I have a feeling that Almonta will be here soon.”
After hearing what Fang Heng said, the expressions of the people from the Empire changed slightly.
Almonta?!
Shouldn’t the leader of the barbarian army attack the main city directly?
Why would they come to a small village like theirs?
Besides, didn’t the Empire already send over reliable information?
The barbarians will directly attack Hani City’s main city…
Everyone was a little suspicious of Fang Heng’s premonition.
Ma Xiaowan believed Fang Heng’s words, and her body felt colder.
Everything was normal under the influence of the undead.
“Alright, I’ll get someone to make preparations.”
Ao Cang took a deep breath.
Regardless of whether it was true or not, it was always right to be prepared for defense in advance.
Even though the Empire guards felt that if the barbarian leader, Almonta, really attacked, it would be useless to set up any more defensive facilities.
Seeing that the Empire’s people were in a hurry to take action, Mo Jiawei walked to Fang Heng’s side and asked in a low voice, “From what these people are saying, the strength of the Tier 3 barbarian is much higher. Are we really okay with it?”
“I’m not sure,”
Using the elementary game as an example, in a one-on-one battle, the strength of a Tier 2 barbarian was almost equivalent to that of a Duke of the vampires.
However, the barbarians had a weakness of low magic resistance, and the vampires had the advantage of flight.
Fang Heng felt that the Duke of vampires had an advantage.
What kind of level could a Tier 3 barbarian reach?
Could they really stop the Tier 3 barbarian if the latter attack them?
Fang Heng took a look at the game prompt, but he wasn’t 100% sure.
“Hmm…”
Fang Heng made a rough estimation in his heart. Including the dragon mosquito group last night, he had obtained a large amount of high-level blood after killing these barbarians.
However, this blood was still close to a third away from awakening the seed of the unknown sacred tree.
He had two options.
The first option was to give up on awakening the unknown sacred tree’s seed and use the skill to teleport the Vampire King’s coffin here, using the blood to improve his vampire bloodline.
The problem was that even if he was lucky enough to upgrade his bloodline, it would be difficult to deal with this group of barbarians.
So…
The second option was to continue to be greedy!
Weren’t the barbarian army coming?
He had to find a way to obtain more blood from the barbarians when they attacked. He had to use their blood to awaken the unknown seed!
He also needed more than 100 Tier 2 mutation crystals to level up his character.
He could make use of this opportunity to level up!
The first option was extremely safe and had no risk, while the second option was extremely risky.
If he did not do it well, all the blood he had collected would go down the drain.
He had no choice, it was too tempting.
Fang Heng’s eyes were burning as he looked at Mo Jiawei beside him and asked, “Why don’t we try to be greedy?”
“Yes,” Mo Jiawei nodded his head firmly and said, “Yes! A wave of greed!”
“Alright, then let’s go all out. We’ll be greedy!”
